Does anyone know how to order the international G960F model in the US? I see that the UK samsung.com store sells it, but won't ship it to the US while the US samsung.com store sells the G960U only. I'm trying to make sure the phone I get has an unlocked bootloader, but I'm ordering it from the US.

Those have 64gb of storage, the ones from clove have 128gb and are similar price. The 128gb ones on ebay are $1200.

Hey guys,
I was thinking about getting the Galaxy Nexus directly from Google through the Play Store. Are there different versions around or will it also work here in Germany?
Thanks!
Yes its the same. It's unlocked and will work anywhere in the world. The Play Store only ships to the US though. Have to buy from a different importer, or from a phone shop in Germany.
There's nothing special about the Play Store version though... it just has Google Wallet preloaded, that's it.
Alright, thanks! I have an American friend who would get me one.

The question is, why would you go through all that trouble? It's not like it's cheaper. If customs opens the package and that's very likely, it'll end up costing you even more than in any local MediaMarkt who are selling them for around 360€.

Its gonna be more expensive to have them buy it in the US + tax + shipping, then pay to ship it to you + customs (potentially).
Just buy it directly and have it shipped to Germany.

Well, right now there is no better price than buying it in the U.S. and importing it, in my opinion. The phone will be about $380 including tax and shipping. This is 310 Euros. Tax for delivery to Germany will be about 40 Euros. So it is 350 Euros effectively.
I can't find any store that sells the Nexus for this price in Germany right now. Do you?
And which U.S. store is selling the Nexus at a comparable price that will ship to Germany?
Greetings,

I'm thinking about heading to carphone warehouse UK and getting a G4, but just wanted to make sure its the unbranded H815 standard version they are selling?

Yes - I got the standard H815 GBR version from a store in Kendal 11 days ago. It's unlockable (have checked the link to the LG site using the IMEI code), but I haven't attempted it as don't want to lose warranty if possible.
TBH I think you get a better deal if you phone CPW and use the callcentre to place an order rather than in-store. The callcentre seem able to knock cash off the price of the handset whereas the store wouldn't budge on price.
I'm buying outright so don't think they will knock anything off?

Got mine from CPW about 10 days ago and it is unbranded and unlockable via the LG Web site.
Sweet, I'm on my way now! Thanks for the replies!
Just picked one up!!
Nice.
all carphone warehouse phones are sold unlocked according to the local manager here as they do not have the storage space to keep models in large amounts for each carrier so phones are sold on a carrier - phone basis
I will be in Hong Kong from September 10 to 24 with a 3 night layover in Taiwan. I have been looking for the price of the device in Taiwan but I have not been able to find it. I called a shop in Hong Kong who told me their version is Snapdragon not Exynos.
Question:
The CDN version has the $200 off trade in phone promo. Obviously in Asia there is no promo for that, however there is really no tax in Asia.
Anyone know the price of the device in Taiwan? Is it worth paying a premium ($200 ish more) for an Exynos model? Anyone know where I can buy it when I'm in Taiwan; I can't find web stores from Taiwan providing information re: this.
If I buy in Asia, can I get warranty servicing from Samsung in Canada?
Thanks!

Definately worth the extra cash for a bootloader unlocked exynos device.
I dont think sammy Canada will warranty service a non Canadian device though or even if they can as the hardware is slightly different.

If you've got something in writing from Samsung (which this website certainly is) that will trump whatever any sales rep says.

The international warranty is only mentioned in the South Korea website. The Canadian website has no mention of it.
I guess make sure to check what kind of warranty is offered in the country of purchase because there may be differences.

I just realized that the link I provided says "Samsung Mobile Computer" not mobile phone. I think we should check the fine print before purchasing abroad, if that's important. If I call Samsung Canada's warranty servicing and get an answer I will post it.
Here is my conversation with SS online:
C: Hypothetically, if I purchased a Samsung phone abroad, and there is a problem with it, can I submit the repair to Samsung Canada?
SS: Thank you for waiting. I'll be with you in just a moment.
SS: No, if you have purchased the phone abroad and would like to get it repaired in different country, you need to contact local service technicians. Samsung will not repair the phones purchased that are purchased in different countries.
The 3xl is on sale at Amazon for 599 and I was hoping someone here might know if model # GA00469-US has the unlockable bootloader. The same model # is also be sold at BH photo.
I've googled the model# to try and figure this out and cannot be 100% sure.

Id buy it before amazon realize the the pixel 3xl is back to full price on google.
I would at least want to check the IMEI to see if it is possibly unlockable. Otherwise, buy it and try then return it if not.

All the Amazon phones are the locked version. The only place that sells unlocked is direct from Google.

This is incorrect. I bought my Pixel 3 XL from Amazon, brand new, on Amazon Prime Day 2019. My version has the unlockable bootloader. The very first thing I did was unlock it.

Your right, only verizon models are locked. You can purchase verizon models from amazon, it will say whether or not the phone needs verizon to work.
