I have been looking high and low and haven't been able to find anything regarding this yet. Does anyone know if this is possible yet? If anyone could provide a link that would be awesome. Thank you in advance.
I have Kali Nethunter running successfully on my Pixel C. I have yet to compile a kernel to work with my external WiFi device but all of the scripts/apps work. There is a generic thread you can follow which describes how to install Kali Nethunter on *any* Android device.

Hello. Can you help me a bit. I have a tablet Google Pixel C, and my neighbor has Wifi. Could you help me with some questions. 1. What kind of image system you installed on the tablet. 2. Once I get packages, can I decode them (not sure if my tablet will be able to do this). Thank you for attention.

Greetings,
I've just begun to delve into Android Development and I've begun to make my own ROM. My main problem is that my computer runs on 32-bit and I need a 64-bit computer in order to build my ROM and to make sure all features are working. I was wondering if any more experienced devs or anyone else would be willing to help build the ROM and help me test features? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,

One option is VirtualBox. *Virtualization technology has to be available and activated for this to work. *Here's a link about virtualbox and VT.
Here is a good link for building a ROM.
If this info is not useful maybe someone else has a better suggestion.
Ok I'll try it out.

Hi everyone! I'm new with this things and I found out that this Forum seems to help me with my inquiries. I just flash my Asus Zenfone 2 yesterday to CM 13 ( nightly). I installed Pixel Master right away from the playstore and it seems not compatible with CM13. I found out that you here have a Download link for pixel master that would be better than the playstore's Pixel master. One of the instruction is to flash .zip using TWRP recovery, How do I do that thing? can you help me or give me a link of any tutorial to flash that thing? if so, thanks a lot!
I've made a Build for one of the older Xperia device. I compiled AOSP 7.0 and it does work well.
I have few Questions.
1. I want to add and remove some apps (.apk) to/from the build and I don't know how to do it. Googled and found a solution but it didn't worked. (placing apk somewhere with .mk file)
2. Also I want to provide USB OTG support to the device. Where should i look for this? Any location or something.
(OTG works if external power supply is provided)
3. And if I changed some of things of an app from the build, do i need to compile=>build=>flash and check weather it worked or not? or i do it with ADB kind of stuff? If yes, can i know the detail steps?
ANY kind of help will be appreciated.

It is Xperia ACRO S. Its final official update was Jelly Bean.
Hey guys,
I'm running Rexmix OS on my Pixel which means that i won't get an security update for Meltdown/Spectre...
Can i just put an fixed Kernel on it and go on with my marshmallow based Remix?
I found this one: https://android.googlesource.com/kernel/tegra/+/android-tegra-dragon-3.18-oreo-r6
I couldn't find out if it even has the fix...
How do i flash it, I'm used to the one file fasboot flashing stuff :/
And btw does anybody know if Phoenix OS (seems like they are continueing the Remix OS) has planned to support Pixel C (they didn't reply to my email...)?
sry for all my n00b questions
could please somebody just tell me if i CAN update the kernel and keep the os? ...
I think kernels are specific to devices and android versions. So as long as the kernel you use is for the pixel c and the same android version as the rom you use, it should work. That said, you might struggle to find a pixel c kernel with fixes to those vulnerabilities...
Good luck, let is know if it works..
We are only vulnerable to Spectre you'd have to pull the patches from the common tree and merge in
live is a risk (spectre)?
ok thanks a lot for the answeres, guys; good to know that meltdown doesn't affect the pixel
since the only thing i know is copy and paste, i guess that's it for me :silly:
still didnt get an answer from the phoenix OS guys :/ I guess they are busy enough already
So whats your guys opinion: could I just stay on my remix OS marshmallow, be carefull using the web and untrusted app sources and just deal with the spectre thread? Live is a risk? :silly:
btw: are you guys cool with aosp roms? Personally i use the pixel like a laptop so normal android with the status bar and the weired button setup seems very unhandy for me...
I am Stock Oreo with freeform windows enabled via adb and "taskbar" app installed from play store to launch apps in freeform mode and quiet happy. Stock freeform is buggier than the implementation found on RemixOS or PhoenixOS but I get the latest android version, on the upside. RemixOs is dead and PhoenixOS doesn't even have a pixelC version, I think..
If you are worried about security , you can root and install a custom kernel too..

Hello PixelExperience Folks,
Q: I have a Google Pixel 2XL running CalyxOS and thought I'd like to try installing the PixelExperience Plus. I believe the CalyxOS is the Android 11 version. Will this be a problem for me?
I only ask because I've watched some YouTube installation how-to videos that mentioned wanting to start with a mobile running Android 10 for best results.
What kind of guidance are you able to offer me, please?
Thank you in advance. All the very best!

Generally its best to flash stock first before custom ROM's when jumping major versions 9->10, 10->11 in case of partition changes etc
I have no idea what base CalyxOs uses - i had to google it has never heard of it before now...but looks like its probably just another LineageOS derived "we hate google (but we still bits of it)" microg mashup thing....don't ask me why people feel the need to make their lives harder (sorry, getting OT)
You can always try just following the steps in the PixelExperience thread, but id do that after id backed up anything on the sdcard beforehand and no warranty from me
Worst that can happen is you have to flash stock and start over...easiest way to flash stock is here:
Factory Images for Nexus and Pixel Devices | Google Play services | Google for Developers
developers.google.com
Find your device and hit the flash button (Chrome/Edge browser recommended)
If you want to be certain, and 1005 safe, backup what you love on sdcard, and then go stock first....
