Device not running smooth

Hello All,
I flashed my nexus with CM12 ROM and post that when i was not happy with the performance i flashed CM11.
But in both the cases, i am experiencing a lag throughout the device, whether it is games or watching videos or the normal device operations.
I wiped the device clean on both the occasions, and flashed the ROM's perfectly.
Can anyone help me why i am getting a Lag!.

Hello...
Kinda have the same problem. I have a little lag while scrolling in pages and stuff
Device seems a little slow this happened like 2 days ago I was running cm 12.1 then
Switched to stock and the same problem.. I tried KitKat and there was a little slow too.
I don't have any problems in apps games or movies. Implosion for example is running perfectly... Maybe there is something we can do to fix it? BTW I installed the stock with full wipe and only restored my apps with tb.
Thanks

That is what i am hoping for exactly.. A Fix!. Didn't experience any lag when i was using stock. The moment i flashed it with other stuff, came the Lag. I will try flashing the stock again and see if i find any lag.
Thanks for the input though!

Samsung galaxy tab 10.1 anyone else lagging?

I am having a very laggy samsung galaxy tab pro 10.1 is anyone else having that problem? Is there a way to fix?
Are you rooted or running stock?
I have this device too. I am using last stock version rooted and debated by me. And I can confirm lag. I didn't update to cm 12.1 because I want to stay with knox 0x0. Yesterday I tested asphalt 8 and it lags even I used low graphics. Stock rom sux -_- I installed xposed with dvfs disable (witch helps a lot mainly in games) and greenify
Thanks for the reply. Is this hardware problem or software? I think software when android lollipop comes maybe it can be fixed.

[Q] From H815p to H815

Guys i am currently on the h815p firmware, but in exoeriencing alot of lags and the phone frequently overheats .. Does someone on the same firmware have the same problem as me? Is there a way to be on a h815 firmware (I heard its better)
Thank you very much
I have the H815P, no overheating at all and the only lag I've had is in the recent app list when swiping Chrome away to close it, it sometimes takes a few seconds than usual. I'm running Apex Launcher, maybe that's making a difference.
I do have also H815P and havent had any dramatic issues so far, only overheats that are caused by some 3rd paty launchers such as launcher M, solo launcher among others but whenever I unsistall them the issue goes away, I only wish that we we could have the lastest version, as I am running on V10a...

Maybe you could be more specific. Which variant do you use? What was the last stock ROM you were running? Where exactly do you experience the lag? What were you doing before experiencing lag? What type of lag do you mean? Long loading times? Low FPS (stutter)?
On absolutely stock ROM I also had problems. Then I switched to CM12.1 and there the whole system was slower. After that I switched back to custom stock lollipop and all problems are gone.
But I don't know why, maybe it's an kernel problem. (H815 unlocked)

I've lags means that apps takes 4/5 seconds to open, animations miss frames
That's weird, I'm living in heaven on CM12.1
Obviously a custom ROM that's not based on stock WILL be faster because of how little the system will put a load on the hardware. There's definitely something on your side slowing it down.
Got xposed flashed by any chance?

Lag in Marshmallow

Hi everyone
I have a Zenfone 2 ZE551ML with android Lollipop 5.0. A few months ago, when the android 6.0 have been released, I updated the phone and everything was fine until I discovered that some games that I've been playing on my phone are lagging. I decided to downgrade to lollipop again to check if the problem is caused by 6.0, and yes I was right, there is no lag in these games with 5.0.
So did anyone notice the same problem ? and is there a solution for this ? Because I really liked the Android 6.0,but I want to play my games without any lag.
Thanks
Yep. There is some performance drops on gaming on stock MM. You could try a custom kernel and some CPU governor and I/O tweaks and see...

All issues should be reported to Asus via Zentalk or else so we have a chance to get a fix.
Yes I'm seeing the same problem with 6.0.1 game war n order lags big time. When on andriod 5.0 things ran smoothly.
