Not going to interfere with OTAs. It's just a few scripts. Backup your system partition or you can always reflash your ROM over it.

Most likely yes but not guaranteed as it haven't been tested. It's same ROM and same camera.

It's intersting, before the Z2 pro, i've buy a Zenfone 2, and someone do the same for customs roms, he make a zip with framemework library and APK of camera, and version after version, we get all functionality of the app.

Ok, it's not a fake app. I flashed this zip and the phone did not know it started anymore. I had to wipe data to resume the smartphone. Now you can write in the description that the app's flash locks the phone.

Just tested for few mins in stock Rom, it works. Didn't test night mode by the way.
Successfully installed on stock, unrooted. Night mode is not working, it clicks normal photo, as well as HDR is also not working. Photos don't open within the camera app. For front camera face retouching don't work. Everything else is working fine.
Face retouching for front cam, night mode don't seem to work and can't open the photos from the camera app (says no photos). Rest works. But above all, the FRONT CAM WORKS in LOS 16! Kudos!

Backup DATA partiotion to USB/PC, formatm data , flash rom, boot fully (with format data partition), go to twrp and restore data and boot .
If you flash "dirty" without boot on clear data partition rom, there is some problems i dont know why

Sorry for the noob question, but in TWRP, to mount system and vendor, what storage do I select ? And do I keep the preselected cache, data, firmware and SD card to mount too ?

Instaled and working perfect. Only two things could improve, take pictures with the fingerprint sensor and add the qrcode reader.
The application icon could also be the same as the original.

If i am on front camera and try to acess manual mode, the camera switch to back camera and it does not show the button to go back to front camera. Front camera in manual mod is disabled?

Some troubleshoot that might help:
1. Mount System and vendor before flashing camera zip (mount > enable system, vendor)
2. After successfully boot up, grant all permission of the miui camera.
3. Have fun.

EDIT: ROM works, is fluent as stock oos. Just beaware of the chinese bloatware
SECOND EDIT: Morelocales doesn't seem to work with this, atleast not without root :C Gonna have to stick with english

Link include MSM, just use it in top. Frimware works fine, and include more languages.

I am sure someone will be able to extract the boot img via adb etc. I will try and look at it later this week

looks pretty much the same to be honest, the room has some more customization features, but that is about it
How can i open volte and how can i do root in this rom ?

You can trying to use guide from Oxygen OS, may be it will working on Color OS?!
