Hi all.
changed the back view ruler to one that i fit my car size and the location of the camera (attached a picture).
now i want to change the size of the trajectory lines that are small and not by the size of my car. They are wrong but do move when i move the steering wheel.
it looks like some one did it http://4pda.ru/forum/lofiversion/index.php?t557670-14640.html but i cant understand a thing.
is it posible? if so, how?

I don't have an answer for you, but I'm very curious to know how did you get the moving rulers when steering!
in extra settings you can check V on trajectory ruler or some thing like that its a builed in function
I've got only an option to activate the ruler, but it's fixed.
And anyway I can't use it because my camera puts it's own rulers on the image...

I had this issue, you need to replace the bg_distance.png file in the MTCBackView.apk file MTCBackView.apk\res\drawable-nodpi-v4\
Sorry, i misunderstood, wow, would be cool to have the lines move, looking at the 4pda site it seems to be a feature from the canbus for VAG vehicles?

Yes, for proper working it needs to know the rotation angle of the steering wheel, and maybe it can get it from canbus on certain veichles. I've seen that there are universal models too (you can search "dynamic trajectory rear view camera" on aliexpress) that use a gyroscope built in the camera itself to guess if you are turning and how much, but I don't think they can work very well...

Inspired by the zoombar projects (link below), I thought that it could be possible to convert the hard button area of the touch HD to a more useful thing: a touch pad.
I think we have enough room for left-right and also up-down movement. Also a double click could be considered as pressing the Enter button.
I believe we have skilled enough developers who can make this dream a reality (like XaKing and namuk).

Although, would it only enable in certain applications? Because i want to answer a call when one comes in and not be zooming! lol
Also, if i get a call in camera mode, will it detect this and revert the buttons?
It all comes down to the limits of our imagination. Maybe we could have a blacklist/whitelist approach, where we could define the applications for which this touch pad should be enabled. This could be in some conf file or registry.
But we need the real thing first, these nice little touches could come later.

Mine Doesn't have a filter either (Looks like the photo.)

looking in my backup I found this photo with "speaker filter"
-> the "filter" probably come out with a vacuum cleaner

Does anyone notice that there's a 'mountain' icon (or something that looks like two triangles superimposing on each other) on the top left corner when using the front camera? It doesn't appear when using the back camera and I can't find a way to make it go away. Does anyone have a clue what this sign mean?

No it doesn't affect the real photos; I ask only because that icon wasn't there when I was on 4.0.3 and before. I wondered if I had accidentally turned on some camera features and if so I'd like to turn it back off.

I know that it was thought to be a Nexus 5 only thing with the 800, but I notice in people's screenshots it at least displays it. Mine just shows a hollowed out mic icon.

you need to set "hotword detection" on (only english US and i need to download the offline speech recognition to make it work)

They say it's coming any day now as an update on 6 and 6 Pro
These things are usually server-side switches. A particular APK might support it, but without Google turning it on remotely, the option won't appear. They do this with many high-profile new features.

guys, you actually may have it already. I was checking my photo app and I needed to use magic eraser for one of the pictures. camouflage is there! not as a separate tool, but bundled together with magic eraser

No, I have already tried several times. It only removes the object, no option to color it in.

I have everything from Google play store
I just got it. Didn't update the photos app, it just showed up.
I didn't have it till I went to use erase feature then it updated to show camouflage in the sub section with erase.
