Razer Phone not booting at all - Razer Phone Questions & Answers

I was trying to root the device. I was able to flash TWRP, but it was bootlooping TWRP. So I tried to push the image backup to the sdcard. During the transfer, it said: "adb: error: failed to copy 'D:\platform-tools\BACKUPS\BACKUPS\181744V00401247\razerbackup\vendor_image.emmc.win' to '/sdcard/TWRP/BACKUPS/181744V00401247/razerbackup/vendor_image.emmc.win': no response: Connection reset by peer"
Next thing I know, the phone is off. Now it won't turn back on. Any suggestion or is this thing dead now?

Try to use the factory stock images.

Hold vol - then plug the USB c cable into the phone with the other end of the cable pulgged into a PC. That should put you in download mode. Download and install the Razer factory image.

Root/Rom Help Needed ASAP!!!

Here is my issue..I have been rooted since I got the phone and actually rooted both of my EVO's. Last week I decided to go back to Fresh Rom 1.0 and inadvertently flashed a new theme at the same time. Did not flash the ROM and then go back in and flash the theme. As a result, the phone went into a continual cycle of rebooting the loading screen ( for Fresh users you know it has the little guys and says FRESSSHHH). Well that happens over and over again.
The only option I have is to take battery out and go into the bootloader mode. MY problem is this:
* Once in bootloader mode, I can't reflash because when I go into the recovery mode, the recovery says " ADB server is out date" and scrolls thru a few lines an disappears. I've tried every thing suggested to me and still have not been able to fix that.
* Cannot access root of SD card because system doesn't recognize the phone is attached.
* Tried to load PC36IMG file on the card manually and that loaded but I can't get to the restart option. It finds the file but does not give me the restart commands.
I'm at wits end right now. I tried the OTA Recovery but since I cannot connect to the computer, it won't run either.
Please help......
Restore a nandroid.
RUU start over.
I tried to do that but the computer - htc sync won't recognize the phone so I can't RUU again. When I get to the end of the process it tells me either the phone isn't connected to the USB or the USB isn't connected to the computer.
You phone says the ADB server is out of date when you boot into recovery?
It sounds like you are not completely rooted.
You should be able to volume down and power on. Then choose recovery. From there you can restore a backup. That should also give you ADB access to the phone (if you are fully rooted)
If you are not fully rooted, and you have to run some bat file on your computer to get the phone into full recovery, you may be skrewed.
No, the computer says that when I go into recovery mode and have the black screen and red triangle on it. I then go to the computer and try and run the recovery file that I've been running as I've flashed 10-12 ROMS already. The CMD screen on the computer comes up as ADB Server is out of date...and another line or two scrolls by and then it disappears, never connecting to the phone and going into the next screen where I can wipe or flash from SD..etc..
Sounds like you did not complete step 2 of the root process. You should be able to enter recovery without the use of a computer.
Reboot your computer and try again, if you still get errors then I am out of tips.

[Q] Updating GPE failed via sideload now no ADB connection

Device charges but that's all.
Nothing detected in USB devices. I tried factory reset and different cables. No good.
I get no Android file transfer program ( I'm on a mac) when I plug into USB.
Any ideas?

I had major problems as well. Remove your SD card and download the 510 stock rom. Reinsert SD card and manually boot in recovery by powering off your device, then holding the down button and powering on your device while still holding the down button. This will put you into your bootloader where you will be able to access recovery and install the 510 stock rom.
of course, if you have a good backup you can skip the last part and once in recovery restore your backup to get you back into action. Look in the developer section for further possible ways to do this there is a full backup that you can install from TWRP that may solve your problem. I was unable to make it work, and am hoping somebody will find an answer for me, but maybe it will work for you!

[Q] Phone stuck in bootloop, can't flashboot anything. Suggestions?

Ahh my phone has had quite the past week on this CM12 Android 5.0 ROM...
I was just listening to music and checking social media on my phone when bam, it turns off.
I held the power button and it didn't turn on the first few times.
Then finally, it boots, but it won't get past the splash screen.
It's stuck in a bootloop and I can't get into the recovery. I can't factory reset it either.
I tried to go to fastboot and flash the recovery again, but my computer doesn't recognize my phone.
I have adb, fastboot, and all of the correct drivers installed and it won't do anything.
I tried flashing with "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img" but it just said "<waiting for device>" even though my phone was connected and in fastboot mode.
I don't know what to do. I can't boot it, I can't get into recovery, I can't factory reset it, and I can't fastboot anything.
What should I do? Please I am open to ANY suggestions at this point. I can't deal with this constantly not having a phone crap.
Thanks, it'll be much appreciated.
Extra Info:
Device manager lists my phone as this: "Unknown USB Device (Device Failed Enumeration)"
Every time I go into fastboot, my computer displays this message: "USB device not recognized. The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it"

Make sure you aren't connected via usb to your computer when you attempt to force a reboot. It should be vol up and power until it reboots and then switch to vol down to enter hboot.

I can get into hboot and all that just fine. The phone won't boot, and I can't get into recovery is my problem. Oh and the fact that the computer doesn't recognize my phone in fastboot
Update: I just whipped out a really old computer running Windows XP and I installed the platform-tools and HTC One drivers on it. I hooked the phone up to the computer, and the drivers worked. I flashed TWRP and it flashed successfully according to fastboot, but it won't go into recovery still. What should I do now? I know I can RUU somehow (I'm not really sure how though), but I want to try and avoid that, if possible. Any suggestions? Thanks people!
EDIT: NVM it actually booted! What a success! This stuff is crazy!

[Q] LG-V500 Secure booting error, boot to TWRP only.

Stock ROM rooted. I think bootloader still locked.
Upon turning on lg-v500 there is a message in the corner
"Secure booting error
device unlocked so boot success"
and goes straight to TWRP
Cant restore backup - says successful but goes again to TWRP after reboot with same secure booting error message.
Tried this
Now, you have TWRP right?
Grab an external SD card and load a ROM onto it through the PC (for GPad)
Put SD in GPad, factory reset device.
Now go to install, external sd, locate ROM, Swipe to flash.
After flash wipe dalvik and cache then Boot to ROM.
No luck - result as above. boot to twrp and error message
Want to try this - but can not install usb drivers on 3 laptops, so no connection with lg pc suite
Download LG PC suite and install LG drivers to PC.
Plug LG GPad in PC
Run the LG Suite click Upgrade recovery.
Now it will download stock LG ROM and after download will flash automatically.
Will then reboot after flash.
Hopefully now is fixed.
If hangs at boot screen boot to stock recovery, (power off, power button + Volume down, when LG logo appears let go off all buttons, now press all three in. Will need two hands for it,)
Then get a factory reset prompt, click power button twice to perform a factory reset.
Any ideas, guides please?
That option helped
get the LG mobile support tool, power down the tablet completely (hold power for > 30 secs), hold the vol up and down buttons, and plug in the USB. This will put it in download mode then use the LG program to reset to stock

G7 detected by LGUP while in download mode, but not detected by ADB

I'm currently trying to follow this guide on how to install Magisk: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1fdeO9jmm8ewwRX_G0MaGHsVfIVtxgh0yRK0-Yypcl_E/edit"]https://docs.google.com/document/d/1fdeO9jmm8ewwRX_G0MaGHsVfIVtxgh0yRK0-Yypcl_E/edit (I can't make the link clickable since it's my first post) but it's in poorly worded English and I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. I've gotten into download mode by turning the phone off, holding volume up, and connecting it to a PC via a USB cable. As far as I can decipher, the guide says to reboot into bootloader through ADB from there. Thing is, ADB doesn't detect my phone being plugged in, but I know my PC detects it because LGUP detects it just fine. I've also tried booting into the bootloader by holding volume down while plugging into a PC, but that just turns on the phone. Doing adb reboot bootloader while connected and on just restarts the phone. If it helps, I did manage to get it into recovery mode through adb reboot recovery, but all I get is a 'no command' error.
If any of you Android wizards could help me out, that would be great!
You should reflash firmware ULM11g to bring back fastboot; after that read carefully before do something
