Editing the flags.htm. Reading the file, the properties you want have a hideformobile propertie, delete it or set it to false.

I checked with my own flags file. You can switch "hideformobile" flags to true and the result is the same - aka it works.

Right click doesn't exist in mobile nor does f12... so the answer is no. Maybe if you have a bluetooth keyboard... i don't know. The mobile context menu doesn't show developer tools but it is enabled indeed with this tweak. Desktop edge has a button for developer options in the [. . .] menu but mobile doesn't.
ah, my bad!
Yeah, the flag can be switched to FALSE in order to see it on the mobile.
Also, you can access the other options as well. So far, doing this did my 640XL working better with Edge.

If you go to Settings, then General, you can set the Access mode to Root Access mode or Prompt User mode... both of those will allow you to browse the root directory.

I think that, as a basic file manager, it does a really nice job and looks good. I personally prefer Solid Explorer, especially the dual panes and drag/drop ability, but to each his own.
What Is This?
New XDA 2015 theme is great and I love it. Too bad, my screen is not that big. This is a huge problem for me. Every post, every thread, every forum, you name it, all the contents are squashed to 30%-40% smaller due to the sidepanel on the right. So I look out for the right css ( yes only css ) to hide the sidepanel. And it works for both Light and Dark XDA2015 theme.
Screenshots
Download
I posted it on my Github. Simply click Raw to install if you have Greasemonkey or Tampermonkey installed on your browser.
Changelog
10-17-17 - Fixed wrong match pattern causing some wont be able to run the script on xda. Credit @tgp1994.
01-01-17 - Fixed script matching condition cannot find the right xda forum url. Thanks for the report @No1VIPER.
06-17-16 - Fixed script not working on recent tampermonkey/greasemonkey updates. Thanks for the report @Salty Wagyu.
12-01-14 - Fixed script not working on FireFox. Just remove the old script and reclick the Raw link above. Thanks @Gabriel51 for reporting.
FAQ
Q: Is this working for other theme?
A: I made this for both light and dark xda2015 theme. 2010 and 2013 doesn't need this.
Q: I found a page with sidepanel is still there!
A: Let me know, post a link to the page and I'll try to fix it.
Q: Are the ads removed?
A: No, but my script is for sidepanel, there's one or two ads on sidepanel. I tuned off adblock for XDA, that's my way supporting XDA.
Q: Can I check the source code?
A: It's available on my Github.
Q: Are there any risks?
A: You can always check the code to make sure it's clean.
Thanks to : @GermainZ for the original XDA Dark script. It took me a few minutes to make my own script yet it's not working so well. With his script, I just need 10 seconds to edit the css part.
This is fantastic, thanks so much!
P.S. I see you're enjoying my XDA Devs avatar template & fonts, eh?

Hi guys, like you know xposed for Android 5 on our device break some system app like LGCover and LGWeather. This because the new Xposed use some binary built from the AOSP source that don't work with the above apks that contain an encrypted classes.dex ( AES128-CBC ).
Since decrypt that classes is quite impossible i started a different approach. So i looked inside the dalvik-cache where all the dex built by the compiler are stored.
Theese classes contains also the original classes.dex code.
example: /data/dalvik-cache/arm/[email protected] @....dex
Structure:
USELESS CODE
CLASSES.DEX ( that start with the magic dex.035 )
USELESS CODE
Header of the classes.dex
Offset.............Size...........Description
0x0................8................'Magic' value: "dex\n009\0"
0x8................4................Checksum
0xC...............20...............SHA-1 Signature
0x20..............4................Length of file in bytes ( in Little endian and hex value )
....
Getting that class is quite simple when you know how the dex header is formatted so i cut off the useless code and got the original classes.dex that can be decompiled with baksmali and used inside the apk.
Unfortunately this method doesn't work for the dex that were encrypted. Or at least, I'm missing the last step because there's something wrong with the code in this extrapolated class since the SHA1 signature appears to be wrong and consecutively also the Checksum are incorrect.
So, from my point of view we have 2 possible scenario:
1- the length of the classes that we can find in the header is wrong; ( most probable for me )
2- the code of the dex has been changed by the system.
Wish you can suggest me some ideas.
@suljo94 @P_Toti pls check this and tell me what you think. Tnx.

try to look into the classes dex with an hex editor, it's encrypted and that's why you can't use tool like that on the original dex.
If you want play, this is the dex i extracted from the dalvik-cache of the LGweather apk:

so I got the slides and I am starting to think that the problem could be that xposed links app_process32 to app_process32_xposed and that the shared library gets injected into the wrong file (app_process32)
hey guys,
this might be a more broader android question, but either way: is there a way to change the hardware device name of a device?
i.e. my issue is the following - i use the "good for work" application for my work emails. My company basically has every manufacturer added to their approved list (HTC, Samsung, even Nexus devices work no problem). Now that I have my sweet OP3, I get the below error message (pic attached)
"the device hardware version is 'oneplus a3000 android 6.0.1' and is not permitted. Install the application on a permitted device."
now - before you tell me to go to my network admins and have the device added - I can't do that for reasons I won't go into here. Basically i want to understand if there's a way to change certain files on the phone that will make this application think it's a nexus device and clear it.
I tried editing the build.prop file (using twrp and adb - since I don't have root) to remove all mention of oneplus, etc. and replacing with "nexus" or something else (used the build.prop file from my 5x for reference). But the app still does not work and the OP3 still shows the model as One Plus 3 in the "about phone" section. This is really fascinating to me. What is driving this device's identity?
Appreciate any thoughts/suggestions you might have.
Try xposed mods... I think it is possible

@piotrus22, If you correctly modified your build prop then it's almost impossible to come as Oneplus name in about section of setting.
as far as I know the name in about section is read from build prop.
can you provide link to your modified build.prop file so i can see what's a problem.
Have you applied correct permissions (rw-r--r-- or 0644) to build prop after side loading
Go to your Bluetooth settings, select the menu, and Rename this device.

thanks @JumboMan. attached are both build.props (edited and non-edited). I ran the command "adb shell chmod 644 /system/build.prop" after I pushed the file onto the phone. I believe it worked because I added the line about LCD density (ro.sf.lcd_density=420) and the density did indeed change. Also - I am able to view the updated build.prop in a file browser when I open the phone with the changes I've made.

I have carefully inspected build.prop file and i found that build.prop doesn't have "ro.product.model" line . That's why you are not able to change device name.
So if you have to change device name you have to manually add above line with whatever device name you want and push file to phone and apply proper permissions
e.g ro.product.model=device name you want
In your case above line will look like ro.product.model=Nexus 5x
Though not required,change lines containing OnePlus to your custom device name

Yesterday I researched a lot about your question but I only found half answer.
Now Today I'm back with more build prop lines that will 100% solve your question.
This time I tested myself first before posting to confirm the changes
So here is a Trick
=====
1.To change Model Number
ro.product.model=Nexus 5x
2.To Change Build Number
ro.build.display.id=Nexus 5x
ro.build.display.full_id=Nexus 5x
ro.build.id.hardware=Nexus 5x
=====
Note - value "Nexus 5x" is used just as an example.
You change this value to anything you want.

ok so I think I fixed it. I played around with the build.prop file and it appears changing the ro.product.manufacturer =OnePlus back from Nexus5 did the trick. Camera seems to be much faster than before and videos can save now, and the Good app still works.

Extracting system files doesn't require root as long as the permissions are rw-r-r (0644). To extract it, you can use any file manager that lets you browse the root folder. From there you can copy the files to the internal storage.

Extracting system files doesn't require root as long as the permissions are rw-r-r (0644). To extract it, you can use any file manager that lets you browse the root folder. From there you can copy the files to the internal storage.

These files are world-readable. (0xx4) -- I've never rooted my Google phones and tablets.

On that note, can I request the SystemUIGoogle in /system/priv-app too? It seems that the quick settings icons' edges are rounded compared to AOSP's sharp edges.
The directory is too large to upload, even after breaking the zip file into 4 pieces. Do you have an account (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.) I can send them to? Or a system I could ftp the zip file?

Then just the apk should do. I only need the resources anyway.

I misread your message (must be more tired than I realized). You didn't ask for the entire /system/priv-app!!

Haha that's insane. If I asked for the priv-app folder then I should've just asked for a complete system dump instead lol.
Here it is (I hope -- it didn't attach to the last response).

Thanks! I also wanted to ask you something. I don't need the apk for it, but can you see any folder named SoundPicker in app or priv-app? If not, how about Sounds?

The zip file seems to be corrupted.
