Hello,
I have my main google account added to my phone, today I tried adding my tablets account to the dual messenger section of Location History.
I went to:
Settings -> Location -> Location History (second account, one with orange and 2 circles).
This gave the option to add an account. I added my second google account and now it shows in the location history, BUT NOT under the google accounts section. So I am unable to remove it.
I did try adding it to the phone as a google account and then deleting it hoping it would remove but it is still showing under the location history and there is no option there to be able to remove it.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I searched and found a lot of calendar issue threads, but non that really had the issue I'm having.
Running a Droid Incredible with Froyo. I just got the phone a few says ago. Ran the initial setup. Created an Gmail account to sync all my stuff and imported my outlook contacts and all.
Got all that done with no problems. Started setting up my google calendar and noticed nothing was transferring over to my phone that I was adding to the calendar. Did some google searching and basically came to find out that my phone is not set to sync the calendar, But I don't know why or how to fix it.
I go Setting>Accounts & Sync>Google and it only shows "Sync contacts" and "Sync Gmail". How do I add Calendar to that? I saw that some people said you need to have a calendar made before you add that account, but its too late for that. I tried to remove the account to re-add it, but it says "This account is required by some applications. You can only remove it by resetting the phone to factory defaults."
So how do I get the Calendar Sync added to my phone?
Solution for Droid 2
I found a posting that worked on my wife's Droid 2 (didn't know this had hit the Incredible). This worked for me. YMMV.
From a different forum ... this worked for me:
1. Go to 'my accounts' on droid 2
2. Click on 'create account'
3. choose google account
4. Follow the process for creating a new gmail acct not just adding your original to create a dummy account
5. Make sure all sync options are checked
6. Finalize account creation
7. Go to your calendar and create a new event using your ORIGINAL gmail acct not the new/dummy account
8. Save event
9. Go back into my accounts and check your original account sync options, calendar should now be there
10. Remove your dummy account from your phone
I'll def have to try this later when I get home from work

This worked! Did it a little different. When creating account on the phone it did not give me a list of what to sync. So I made the account on the computer and then created a calendar and then added the account and it automatically added the calendar sync.
Now another issue. If I add to my google calendar on the website it add its to the calendar on my phone. But stuff that I have on my phone doesn't get to the calendar on the website...
i went to settings -> accounts and sync -> clicked on email account i want to remove. i unsynced all of the services that the account uses and clicked remove account. this was the result:

This has been an android thing since day one. Usually you have to reset it now. You used to be able to clear Google account services from manage apps

So when I first got my HTC One M8 it prompted me to choose which google account would as my default account. Does anyone know how to change this again? I purchased an app on one account, then when I re-add my other Google account it wants me to purchase that app again.
What you can do if you have multiple accounts that you have purchased software on is merely not worry about what is default and simply add the other google account.
Then after its added open the play store app, tap the left side 3 bars to bring up the menu, where you see your current account should have an arrow pointing down to the right of it, this will let you select another account to use with the play store.
Hi guys, I've got 2 accounts and wants to remove one, can you explain me how to remove email account from fu...king gmail app ?!
at Settings -> Accounts & sync -> Personal (POP3) - when click on 3 dot's got only "sync now" option, theres no remove option, at gmail app cannot find remove option as well.. can someone help me ? thanks
You have to do it via accounts in settings. For some strange reason the functionality isn't built into the app itself. Obviously this means everything associated with this account will be deleted, not just email.
Actually you can go under the google account, and turn off just email, thus keeping play store functionality. Select the google account, and turn off Gmail. note this won't delete the mail already on the phone, you'll have to reset the gmail app to do that, but it will stop syncing and downloading of new messages.
Wonder if anyone has any thoughts on this ?:
I added an additional google account to my phone to access some google drive files. i then deleted the account in the normal way and it does not show it as you would expect. However today i used my PC to change the password of that account and I got a notification of this password change on my phone.
I rechecked and the account is not listed.
