Chances are that it's a 64-bit ROM. Not much effort is being put into 32-bit ROMs.
*According to the Oreo ROMs table thread, this is definitely a 64-bit ROM.

I use to connect to internet with a PLUGABLE USB 2.0 OTG MICRO-B TO 10/100 ETHERNET ADAPTER, but with this ROM I cannot make it work!, are the drivers not included or me doing something wrong?

No, i used kernel of note 5
this rom is fantastic, Android 8.1 is graphically beautiful, the only flaws are, the bugs reported by you (which I hope are resolved) and that sometimes has a bit of lag and I hope that this can also be solved, I would also have a request, if you could enter the setting to deactivate the soft touch keys lighting even if they are active.
rom's great so far but there are only very few customization options
like how can i even change the position of the clock ?
any help is appreciated

friend tried to install this ROM on s6 edge + G928f it even worked well with kernel 8.1 for the device only had random restart almost always the ROM and great wonder would it be when it has time to port to that device. Thank you!

great job! eagerly waiting for your official stable release for android P. recently switched to aex. i dunno what i had messed up on my lineage kernel, the phone became extremely slow. wiped everything and flashing the official version won't work either.
oh yeah, about the latest official rom of aex for z00l, is the battery indicator always green now? its not orange when charging. not a big problem anyways, can just give up on android o and concentrate on android p.

It is clearly stated that it is an alpha version and nothing is working. It is not meant to be a daily driver. Unless you are a tester or want to test and report bugs, it is not recommended to use.

Where in your profile? I checked your github page but there were no repos I could clone with the repo tool.
I see the device tree and the kernel repo, but nothing with the "default.xml" that repo wants.
For reference I ran:
repo init -u <url> -b android-9.0
on the kernel sources and the Z00L common sources
I also checked AEX's github, and they only have manifests up till android 8.1

Anyone had success in downloading this from Google Drive?. All it says for me is downloading with no indication of progress for 45 minutes and then a unsuccessful message. Source forge doesn't show the 12/21 build.
Great Rom. I attempted to remove some system apps via twrp recovery (via browser, contacts). Upon doing so, the ROM would not boot. Anyone have any idea what causes this?

I don't use gapps and there's no messaging app pre-installed. I'd suggest OP to include a messaging app and an email client. By the way, great work, so many features, there are some conflicting settings combination which I think are going to be fixed eventually. :good:

Maybe you removed some essential app by mistake. Try any system uninstall app from playstore. I used System App Remover and removed 7 to 8 non essential apps. My ROM is working fine.

Ok, If someone want to try the ROM, that is something that I did, the Gapps package suggested is the BitGapps, the link for the thread is in the first post. Is a really lightweight package, but the download is in:

Or, for me the download it hasn't been so easy following the XDA official thread, instead, with the official telegram channel all has been fine.
Overall, the ROM is smooth, but is still in ALPHA. The navigation bar doesn't show up. So for now I reverted back to PE.
found the cause of lags
for some reason libinit is not built correctly and dalvik props are missing
moving them to vendor_prop.mk does the trick
fixed drm crash

What's about dirty flash over 6.7?

Mhm, dunno! I clean flashed from AEX 6.7 to PE 10. I did it just to don't have any kind of issue.

When you would have some days of evaluation of the new build, should be interesting to have your insights about AEX 7.0 in general and a brief comparison with AEX 6.7.

Do a clean flash
Dirty flash will cause a problem
And backup persist partition also
How can we do clean flash saving all of our data? I mean the apps and data associated with them
