Did you Wipe userdata before flashing?
hi,
gives few details more plz
Yes, i did wipe factory data, ext cache and dalvik cache. Then i installed Radio_32.56.00.32U_5.17.05.08 and then the ROM. And before all that i created the ext3 partition with rom manager, and installed the alignment-ext3.

I would partition your sd-card again following this guide:
http://leedroid.com/bravo-wiki/partitioning-your-sd-card-ready-for-a2sd
After this is finished, wipe all userdata (full wipe) and flash leedroid rom again.
No warranty for any damage!
Only install the alignment ext3 if you HAVE problems, it's painfully mis-documented in the official thread. Same thing happened to me. Do the following:
Format SD card, create correct partitions using gparted or Partition Manager.
Reboot into recovery by pushing Vol Down + Power, Recovery.
Wipe Cache, Data, D-cache.
Flash rom, reboot.
Don't flash the alignment patch.
Should be fine
ya..exactly..repartition the card.then just flash the rom..dont flash ext3 alignment..same prob happenend with me too..don worry!!

going to try this later on..
i will inform you if it worked.
and ofcourse a thanks.
-----------------------EDIT--------------------
when i try another hboot it never works :S.
only the stock one???
I had the same issue
Did you created an SD-Ext Partition on your SD-Card? Without the Lockscreen and some other things won't work, since they are stored on SD-Ext
I have made an sd-ext partition but i still have no lockscreen! is there any workaround or solution?
I have the same issue. I first installed AceSMod007 (v34) with out creating a ext4 partition, and got a lot of low storage message. I then wiped the SD card and created the FAT32, swap and ext4 partitions. Did a factory reset from Recovery and flashed the AceSMod007 zip again. Everything seems to be working now except for the lock screen?
Did I need to wipe something else before flashing again?
EDIT:
BTW, there's no lockscreens available in the settings...
what mean the lockscreen doesn't work? Is there no lockscreen? or u can't unlock ur phone?
There's no lockscreen. When I press the power button it just show the status bar and the background image and nothing more. I can unlock by press the track button. If I go to the settings to change the lockscreen, there's none installed.

how did u created the ext partition? what recovery u using? u are using hte AceSMod stock or cm7 one?
ClockworkMod Recovery 2.5.0.5. I booted Gparted from USB. The ext partition seems to be working. App2SD installs the apps I download to the ext partition...
Something I need to wipe before trying to flash again? (I did install AceSMod007 the first time with out a ext partition )

if the app2sd its working correctly, then is ok
but if the first time u installed it without ext partition, then some part of the rom (like the lockscreen and some minor things) was not flashed!
should be enough only to wipe cache and dalvik cache and flash the rom again..
if at the next boot doesn't work, try a full wipe..wipe data/factory reset (u will lose ur settings and everything..make a nandroid just in case), cache and dalvik..and flash again..
edit: i think ur recovery is 2.5.0.7
When I select Wipe Dalvik Cache in the Recovery menu it says: Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p2 (File exists)
I then press Yes - Wipe Dalvik Cache.
It then says Dalvik Cache wiped.
Should I just ignore the first error?
Thanks!

Well, i think u can ignore it..I received it too in the past when wiping dalvik cache, i dont remember exactly why i was getting it..but should be ok
Tried wiping cache+dalvik. Still no luck. The wiped data/factory reset+cache+dalvik. And still no luck.
I could see that the apps I had downloaded previously were still present. Should I try wiping the SD-Ext?

I also tried deleting all partitions on the SD card and making new ones, wiped data, cache and dalvik cache, flashed the ROM again, but the lock screen is still not working. And I got a message saying my apps had been reestablished...
Hi,
I have installed twrp 3.1..1 recovery. Wanted to update android version to 7 but when I did the advance format from the twrp recovery, its start giving error says unable to mount /data and /system. When I install the rom zip file, at the end it is giving error says Unable to mount /data and /system (invalid argument).
I did googling and tried to find the solution, but problem persist.
Is there any solution and suggestion to get it solved.
Thanks

Open recovery (twrp) go into WIPE>FORMAT DATA then type 'YES' to confirm. This will wipe all your data including media such as photos videos music, etc so make sure you have a backup of all your stuff before proceeding. The recovery will then restart. This fixed it for me and is most reliable.
.
.
If this doesn't help then another method is- Wipe>>advanced wipe>> select data and system and select REPAIR OR CHANGE FILE SYSTEM. In there select ext-4 and then repair. Once the process is done your recovery will be working.

Thank You,
But I did not find the option to choose ext-4 while Repairing or changing the file system.
Any alternate method would appreciated.

Hello guys! Yesterday I installed Lineage OS 16.0 on a moto g5 cedric, no errors aparently. But when I was setting up some configs and unintentionally selected to draw a pattern to boot the system.
The point is that I forgot the pattern and my cellphone is stucked at the moment. I've tried enter in twrp recovery mode and wipe, erase all data but I was request for a pattern that too. Twrp is unable to mount the system because it is encrypted.
Please help me, if I dont fix this cellphone my mom is gonna me hahahahahaha
Goto twrp
If it asks you for password just push back - you don't need to mount the partition
Goto wipe
Format data (option on the right)
You can also do
fastboot erase userdata
Note this deletes everything on internal storage
Also note if you only wiped data from advanced menu this will not remove encryption

Hello,
I get Xiaomi mix 2s global with:
-Unblocked bootloader
-Installed OrangeFox Recovery
-Installed some Android 10 pixel experience rom
I wanted back to original global rom with stock recovery and reblock bootloader, so i download Global Stable ROM V11.0.5.0.QDGMIXM, put to internal storage and install from OrangeFox.
And now, when I turn on the smartphone, it’s starts, restart and go again to OrangeFox recovery.
In log I have: “Android Rescue Party trigger! Wipe data and caches and/or clean-flash you ROM!"
OrangeFox disables forced encryption by default, and now I need to enabled encryption? How to do it?
So, How to fix it?
I want to back to original global rom with stock recovery and reblock bootloader, bu first I have t turn on system.
Thanks
EDIT:
After installatin PixelExperience_polaris-10.0-20200528-1111-OFFICIAL from OrangeFox, smartphone starts normally, now I want to back to stock rom, recovery and reblock bootloader.
If your bootloader unlocked try formatting your data in orange fox recovery and reboot and see if that fixes it. Just remember formatting data partition wipes everything on your device so anything you want to save be sure and transfer over to your PC first.
doesntwork

I got the same error - Android Rescue Party trigger..." and bootlop.
EDIT:
But I wiped:
Dalvik / ART Cache
Cache
System
Data
Didn't wipe: Internal storage and Vendor.
After that, i installed Global stable V11.0.5.0.QDGMIXM and get the same error, but some settings have been saved - for example my pattern for unlocking.
EDIT:
I did: wipe all, reboot to twrp, flash ROM, and when I try format data, I get error:
Formatting Data using mke2fs...
mke2fs -t ext4 b...
Proces ebded with ERROR: 1
Unable to wipe Data.
Unable to format to remove encryption.
EDiT3:
Success!
I tried once more, and it's ok.
Solution:
1. Wipe all via recovery
2. reboot to recovery
3. flash rom
4. Format data partition (format, no wipe, if mke2fs doesn't work, try with rm-f)
5. Reboot system.
After that everything is ok, at the end uploading stock recovery via adb went without a any problem.
Thanks!
Just to help many others. The trick here, is to format data, not just wipe data from TWRP. You need to hit format data from the wipe menu and type "yes" to confirm. Some things need to be said in plain English.
