Thank you very much.
I switched to aoscp (CYPHER OS) that speaker is louder enough.
I will try this when I back to miui9.
Sadly it does not work :/
Edit: Phone speakers completely silent lol. Flashing disable zip fixed it
Mi Max 2, latest miuipro, no other sound mod
Not my work, just sharing this awesome work.
Here is the link for the official Dolby Oreo port -
https://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=4365169&d=1513721346
Just flash it in TWRP 3.2.1.0
*MAGISK REQUIRED
Tested working on AEX 5.1
It significantly improved audio quality and loudness.
Original post link -
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=74943166&postcount=31837
UNINSTALLATION-
Simply remove the module from Magisk Manager and reboot.
Just a tip to manually increase volume -
1. Go to *root* > vendor > etc
2. Open mixer_paths_tasha.xml in editor.
3. To increase speaker volume -
Find "RX7 DIGITAL VOLUME" and change it's value from 84 to 87
For headphones volume -
Find HPHL and HPHR and change their values from 12 to 15.
4. Reboot device.
Just hit the thanks button if it helps.
Yes working on pixel experience rom 8.1.0

Not yet. Try clearing cache/dalvik or dirty flashing the ROM. But this mod won't get any ROM into bootloop.

Sound output through headphones seem a bit increased but yes, through speaker it's still a bit low. Guess we have to wait devs to increase the volume in their respective Oreo ROMs first.
Works Good. I'm on AOSP Extended Oreo 8.1 beta (26/12/2017 build) and I can observe significantly better sounds while watching videos (in MX player) through Phone's speaker.
Thanks for sharing.?

Option is disabled when sound output is through speaker. Enabled when headphones plugged in.
Does it require root? I'm on AOSP extended 5.1 but no Magisk/Su installed. Will it work alright? Thanks in advance.

It's a Magisk module, so yeah you need to have Magisk installed.
OP updated with steps to increase volume and other details.
I flashed this mod on Validus 8.1 but no Dolby app has appeared on my phone and on top of that, my AR Sticker pack has also been disabled although both of em being shown as enabled on Magisk Manager.

You only need to uninstall magisk completely and re-install it. No need to uninstall all the modules. Magisk will start working again along with the modules.

yes, but before you flash Ainur make sure you have AML installed (https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/mod-audio-modification-library-t3745466).

My phone not have S-OFF
Can I use it?
There is still a problem, you can not use BUSYBOX after installing this???
BUSYBOX is very important
I am currently using Dolby Atmos (via Magisk version for OnePlus X is working without any customization) and instead V4A i'm using JamesDSP, which have one big advantage. No more background noise when processing sound. And AML ofc.

Yup, the one which is in settings app, just make your custom profile and that's it, that boost volume and some audio improvements as well
Anybody tried this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony-themes-apps/port-sony-xperia-xz2-sound-enhancements-t3772758 ?
it is possible to install Ainur Sauron and AML with RR final 7.1.2.

Hi, on which Rom you are on? Does the Dolby Atmos for Oneplus X work on Leedroid?
TIA
Regards,
Schizzo
I am on LeeDroid. In my case it works well, but i needed to turn off Dolby Headphone effects in BoomSound, because two dolby systems at once... it's not a good idea.
You can modify htc_audio_effects.conf too and remove old dolby. But as i said, it should work without editing anything.
I only tried dolby digital mod.
My device on stock rooted miui 10.2.1.0.
could you recommend me to use the best sound mod tested on whyred?
Thanks in advance

Hi there, to me the best audio processing mod is Viper 4 android.
Here is the link to the Magisk version wich i use too.
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=1322778262904018140
Hope it helps
Ainur sauron + Viper4Android + Audio Modification Libary (All of them are compatible to each other, magisk modules)
And i suggest you to install Audio Compatibility Patch magisk module also.
Don't search for other solutions, i think this is the best. And you should use masik x 2.2 rom it sounds better.

Yes, I flashed it from twrp, rebooted and I found the Dolby in the apps drawer.
I think it was Dolby digital not Dolby atmos.
Hi,
I'm currently on MIUI 12.6 by xiaomi.eu and somehow I can't increse the volume on the phone while listening via bluetooth in ear headphones.

Does anyone know a hidden setting to increase the volume?

If your phone is rooted (I assume it is) try using Viper4Android magisk modual
Also read this post if you use it

Thanks for the hint! I installed it and it got a bit louder, but still not loud as with my Redmi 4x..
It's so strange.. could it be because of the ROM? On the Redmi4x I use the resurrection remix rom. On the gaugin I use MIUI 12.6 by xiaomi.eu
Also I need to add, that I cant find the option to toggle Absolute Bluetooth Volume in Developer Options...

You can adjust the gain in the settings to make it louder etc
Yeah, I did this (see screenshots) but no improvement here I also shared two screenshots from the developer settings section, to prove that there's no option to toggle Absolute Bluetooth Volume

You can try directly editing the mixer_paths.xml yourself
Use a file browser browser with root access
Find vendor/etc/mixer_paths.xml
You will need to research yourself what values needs changing to increase volume
I have included the stock mixer_paths.xml below - you could try simply replacing your one with the stock one however it may cause a bootloop. Make sure you backup your existing file first. Set file permissions to 6-4-4 or rw-r-r
If it bootloops just replace original file via twrp or restore your twrp backup
