Guys,
I rooted my phone after unlocking Bootloader and following the process.
I did this successfully without taking a backup of my phone's SD card which I had formatted as internal storage. After the phone came back, I am not able to read any data from my SD Card. I have tried using multiple softwares to recover the data but it fetches raw data and saves the file in .SWF format, which I am not able to convert in images/videos/text.
Can someone please help as to what should I do here?

During a system upgrade while I was playing with some ROMS earlier today I accidentally deleted my SD card data of which I had one important file. I have spent most of today trying to find a way where I can mount the phones SD card into windows and give it a drive letter so that any un-delete program can do its thing and recover the partition.
Is there any way in which the SD card data can either be mounted or recovered?
Thanks in advance,
Dimitry
Hi dear experts,
Wondering if someone can suggest me if there is any way to recover some picture files from encrypted SD Card.
The issue is that I'm having some problems with my phone connecting to the cell towers and I was trying to show to the Samsung tech support remotely, he ask me to factory reset the phone and I forgot that the SD card was also encrypted with some pictures that I'd like to save.
I red somewhere that some phones or Android versions use the Serial number + the encryption PIN to encrypt the storage, so I encrypt again the phone using the same PIN, then format the SD card, encrypt the SD card and then copy the files from my backup folder in my PC putting the SD card in my PC, copy the files on the PC then install in the phone but still the files are not able to decrypt.
The phone is using the latest standard Tmobile ROM 4.1.2.
Thanks in advance.
hi there I'm having this big issue
I made some mistakes, the one that I think originated all my problem is that I've formatted the external SDcard using windows and the phone connected to the pc, because after that the phone had many problems
on the phone I have CWM 6
the big one is that I'm not able to access the internal SD card in any way, When i do factory reset with CWM it says that it can't mount the internal SD card, while when I try to install custom roms they work but they can not do things such as taking pictures with camera because it says that I have to insert the SD card
maybe that I have to format it but i don't know how
any help appreciated
thanks
Maybe that I have to re-write the partition table that went corrupted.
Does anyone have the PIT file of the phone?
Thanks

Phone and Ext SD Card (64 gb) Encrypted
Problem: Accidentally deleted 5 mp4 files from ext SD. Have been vigilant about not writing data to card.
Solutions Explored: 1) Droid Apps 2) PC programs
Tried numerous apps and programs but they are going to require me to root the droid as they aren't turning up the goods.. I'm in the middle of a backup of internal and external storage, which will take a whole day, plus ---- in case I have to give in to the root option. I've done jailbreaks and roots before, successfully, but have no desire to run that risk. I like to have a vague idea of what I am doing so resist one-click routes but am willing to go in that direction if others here might assure me of just the right solution.
Solution Considered: Decrypting SD card then mounting via usb and running recovery programs, which don't otherwise recognize the phone (internal or external storage) even in the usb mass storage mode (PC recognizes all phone storage for file management just not recovery programs/apps). Would decryption overwrite crucial data (file content of deleted files) or only higher levels?
Update: Ext SD Card was NOT encrypted
I unmounted ext sd card. Connected to PC via usb card reader.
The phone indicated that the card was encrypted but it was not. I see earlier threads here where this happenned in kit-kat and jellybean. Now, add lollipop.
What gives?
Galaxy Tab S ext sd card not encrypted
Device says the card is encrypted. I checked via card reader because of experience with phone. Same deal. Not just file names and metadata but file contents are recognized. NO encryption. Does the unmount make it readable? What's going on?
I’m wondering if there’s a way to make the whole sd-card encrypted and the android system recognizing it as an external sd card? The purpose being that data is safe if the phone would get lost/stolen. I’ve been looking into this guide using cryptsetup, but it only works with an image, and only part of the SD card.
