Oreo?
Man you must be kidding, that phone didn't even get the official nougat AFAIK.
That is still marshmallow, with updated security patch.

Well still, if they didn't pushed nougat while it was latest version why would they now?
However according to this https://lg-firmwares.com/lg-k420n-firmwares/ firmwares published in 2018 are still marshmallow and best guess is they fixed blueborne and crack vulnerability or in other words they updated security patch level, as I already said. Cheers

This update wasted me 400Mb off the limited 4g internet.
There is no change only google video call app. who is worthless because you need an active sim card to use it. I thought it ok because my mic not works.
installation time was long. its same Android 6.0
Android 5 was the fastest.
Sory cannot get images, this forum is stupid.
I will someday piss and make a dump on this phone because mobile phones steal your money and privacy. And durability is terrible.

I don't think that they have started really pushing out Marshmallow yet, but there are some leaked builds floating around. Check this thread out: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3249803 Someone can probably help you in that thread. I have Verizon so I'm unable to flash any of those builds, so I don't know much about the process. I do believe you have to have root though (may be wrong).
It also depends on what version of the G4 that you have. What carrier are you on?

Download LG bridge and install it. Plug in the phone and click on software update. I'm in UK with h815 also and there was an update for marshmallow in there, although for various reasons I downgraded again to lollipop. When I checked again to see if the update was there, it wasn't. So do keep checking. Hope it helps
Im in UK as well. Is your G4 factory Unlocked or on a carrier. So far as I know, of the carriers only Vodaphone UK have started rolling MM out... but the likes of EE, 3, O2.. Virgin.. will probably come after xmas now. Im on EE myself and i dont hold any hope seeing MM till early January.
Goto "Settings" > "General" tab > "About Phone" > "Software Info."... if the software version is: v10J-EUR-XX, then its factory unlocked and you could get MM any time now.
Hope that helps
you will need to wait until it comes to your door step.

The article does not explicitly say that the G3 is getting an official Nougat update. It says "coming soon?" with a big old question mark at the end.
The evidence is shaky, to say the least, as the article only references a benchmark done on Android 7.0. How do we know the benchmark wasn't just done with CM13? You can do that on the M8, since CM13 is up and running.
In any case, whether another manufacturer decides to provide updates is up to that particular manufacturer. What LG does, has no bearing on HTC does. HTC is unfortunately not in a great financial position to be providing major OS updates for a phone that is 2-1/2 years old. That is regardless of Qualcomm Vulkan support, which is just the final nail in the coffin for a possible Nougat update.

Z5P Dual (E6883) 1299-6237 Update to 7.0

Hello,
Been waiting for update to Android 7.0 since the news been spread on XperiaBlog and XDA, but still no official release for 1299-6237 (HK Version). Hence, a question arise: Are there additional certifications that apply to HK ROM version that it takes so long for an update, or is there is another reason for it? Also, any idea when to expect the update then? Thanks for help in advance!

you can take the Indonesia or India version... since HK , the last update was .305 / oct2016 ... i am not sure why the stopped pushing for HK
Thanks for reply! I know I can manually flash it, but to be honest, with device like this I cannot be bothered (and frankly not many people do, as pretty much no development going on). I am more reliant on OTA or Companion updates as I do not want to lose my data. Hence it owuld be nice to know if someone would have an explanation for such nonsence really.
I was in the same boat as you. I bought my Z5p dual off of Amazon and received an HK version. I've been waiting for a Nougat update and could wait no longer. I updated using the russian update file and can confim that everything works and no bugs to report. Also no data was lost and my phone language remained in English post update. Should you change your mind...
But to contribute to your question, according to the Experia blog there appears to be a relatively big update coming in April to fix a couple of the Nougat issues with sound some users were reporting. That could be why they halted rollouts again.

Do not try to crossflash! It will brick! First we must have working crossflashing between carriers, then crossflash to U carrier firmware , then flash this OTA.

Its too laggy very slow witg many bugs
It seems that LG is pushing the 10 beta to all koreans vi aota update.
To be able to receive it you must sign in in Quick Help app.
Unfortunately we have 2 problems:
1. Korean menu
2. We need a Korean lg account. I've tried creating one, also Facebook login, but it signs out me. Unfortunately I don't have the time to test with VPN. Also after successfully login we still need to go through the menu in korean language and sign in for the beta.
Maybe someone from Korea would help us. Maybe he can directly saveand give us the OTA. It will be downloaded on the main storage in a hidden folder.
Please help us if you live in Korea either with an account and menu step by step to subscribe to beta, or with the OTA saved as zip. Thx.

I was able to sign up for an LG account using a Google account so I am able to navigate the Quick Help app. But since I don't know Korean, I have been taking screenshots and using Google Translate to try to navigate. It's painful and slow and I have yet to find anything. I wonder if the OTA simply gets pushed over time after you sign up in the Quick Help app. I've tried using a VPN to South Korea and checking for an update manually in the system settings but nothing has popped up. I may try to find some one locally that speaks Korean to help me out, unless some one already knows what to do in the Quick Help app?

This is 19a for the 3 Korean variants

Thx. I also have it. Does call recording work for you? For me it worked, but I somehow messed up debloating and it doesn't work now. Can you confirm is working for you?

Hello all - I own the V50 Korean version (V500N) -- which rom should I flash, KT, SKT, or LGU? Also, what version of the current software should I be at prior to flashing? Thanks

Hello. It depends on what carrier your V50 will be. You should flash the carrier's one. For KT and U carriers you must be on v11o - September patch
For SKT carrier it will be v11q. But Kan, who has SKT, is having problems in installing it. Just be sure you don't upgrade to October patch by mistake.
LG-UP 1.16 does not support crossflashing, even korean carrier.
