This is because there are no beta builds right now.

Are you on the current February build or stuck on an earlier build? If stuck, you can always manually update once to get back on track.

Well, the February OTA just barely started rolling out yesterday, so you have to give it a week or two at least. There may be nothing wrong at all, you just have to wait for it (patiently)

You can force the OTA to be received by going to Settings > Apps> see all > Press on the three dots on the top and select "show system" > Google Services Framework > Storage > Clear Data
Then reboot your device and wait for few minutes and you will receive it ?

[Q]Nexus 7 doesn't appear in Google Play on desktop, laptops..(RESOLVED AGAIN)

I've cleared the cache and data, rebooted everything numerous times and it just doesn't show up anymore since I installed Paranoid Android (which BTW is SUPER fast and smooth), so I can't be on my laptop or desktop and install apps onto my Nexus 7.
Any thoughts, tips or advice?
Thank you!
UPDATE 10-16-2013 at 3:02pm (EST) - for some crazy unknown reason it just started showing up again. I guess I just need to post the issue here and it will fix itself.
Have you signed into google play using the device? Accepted the terms and all that on the device?

Yes it is. This is very perplexing.
Had this problem recently. Fixed it by going to play store (latest version, 4.3.11) > menu > settings > account > sign into a different account then sign back into your default one. Or you can try clearing play store data/cache.
Showed back up for me not long after that.
I suspect the problem happens when I don't register an account on a fresh install.

I tried both and it now shows up on Android Device Manager, but it still doesn't show up in the Google Play Store. :crying:
UPDATE: I rebooted my laptop for other reasons and noticed that I can now see my Nexus 7 in the Google Play Store!
It doesn't work anymore since I installed a new ROM (PA).
UPDATE: works now for no apparent reason.

App updates get stuck at 100% download

Not sure if this is Z Play specific, but I'm running Android 7.0, with the 1st April patch
I've not used WiFi for a while, so I've got 37 updates for apps. Whenever I update, the first app gets to 100% downloaded but then just stays there. A reboot might let me update 1 app, but then the problem returns.
Any ideas?

Go to your Apps section, see the System Apps, then clear all Data on the Play Store and try again.
Clear playstore data and try.
If that doesn't work then hard reset is the last option.

I would first do the update to android 7.1.1. For me this fixed many bugs. And you get 06/2017 security patch with over 100 bug fixes. Just check, maybe the update is there.

Google pay says rooted but bootloader locked

I just installed Android Q beta 3 and tried setting up Google pay but it keeps saying I'm rooted or my device is altered.
I have a locked bootloader and bootloader unlocking is disabled in settings.
I was in Carbon rom before with magisk. Flashed stock Android P just to make sure nothing would go wrong. Relocked bootloader right after. Any suggestions?
Same here. Not rooted and bootloader is locked. I remember this happened last year as well. Google has to update play services I believe.
Okay, I'll keep a look out for Google play update. Thanks!

Reading the download page would have helped as this is a known issue in Beta 3. Suggestions: wait for the next beta or else go back to Android 9.

The download page said the same as the first 2 betas and Google pay still worked. And apparently still working for some.

Odd. I probably have the wrong page in mind. In any event, this is something Google is aware of.
Should be fixed now. Try clearing play store data and readd card. Works for me now.

how to stop System out of date update pop-up

Hey guys, I've disabled update notifications through play store and I've disabled auto update system under developer settings as well but this keeps popping up every now and then and I can't figure out to block it. I'm rooted on August 2019 pie build. I've searched the services for play services and play store and can't find anything related to what this update might be from.
I've searched around Google and XDA and haven't found anything regarding this specific pop-up. Anyone have any info?
Following..
I have same issue, but mine is more out-of-date than yours! [emoji16]
Hopefully we'll get some answer here, I have not been able to prioritize this issue in normal life, and this holiday season is not giving me any more time for sure...

The annoying part is it doesn't pop up as a notification or an app that would show up in overview mode otherwise I could just long press on it and figure out what process it's coming from. I gotta figure it's from one of the play services but there's so many different ones and nothing I've seen really stands out like updater or anything like that.
Just letting you know, if it pops up & you accidentally hit the update button, turn off wifi & data, then clear the cache/storage on Google Play Services to stop the update.

I think the process is android system, notification section, it should be listed as download or update or very similar, just turn it off.

This is funny. People are here denying updates, and I'm here wondering where my Dec update is. I still haven't gotten it along with a ton of others.

I'm on a 3a xl and I got my update Dec 2nd. You can always manually Flash the update it's all ready to download
Also interested in blocking this popup.
Bump
Just found this command to try in another system update blocking thread. Trying it out now. Not sure how often the pop-up appears but I usually see it about twice a week
pm disable com.google.android.gms/.update.phone.PopupDialog
I haven't seen any negative side effects to using this yet but if someone thinks so please let me know.

Just to let you guys know the command I previously posted has worked. It's been over 2 weeks now and it has not popped back up at all and nothing is broken that I've noticed so far.

There is nothing with update or updater listed that I can delete when I use titanium. I think Google combined it with play services.
Any idea where it would be located for manual deletion? I've searched through both system and priv apps folders and found nothing that would indicate it is the system updater?

Does the "pm disable com.google.android.gms/.update.phone.PopupDialog" need to be run on a rooted device?
I tried on my unrooted pixel 5, but get the following error. Unfortunately I can't root because of my banking apps.
Code:
adb shell pm disable com.google.android.gms/.update.phone.PopupDialog
Exception occurred while executing 'disable':
java.lang.SecurityException: Shell cannot change component state for com.google.android.gms/com.google.android.gms.update.phone.PopupDialog to 2
at com.android.server.pm.PackageManagerService.setEnabledSetting(PackageManagerService.java:21042)
***
I found the answer myself. YES it needs root
I have tried to run this 'pm disable' command and run into the Java error. I am rooted, though with ADB, trying to gain root or anything, everything seems to get a 'permission denied' error.

Google Play system update problem

My Google Play system update was stuck on 1 July for several months now. And today I notice it turns red with no more updates available. Anyone have the same problem nor know how to fix it?
I'm on latest stock ROM with locked BL.
Same here, is there an update??
That is apparently the current version?
Same on my phone, but I could update it manually to Sept 1. now.
Weird that it was not done automatically.

Oh, mine had the update today. 6.3k, can't have been much in it.
I don't think it was automatic in the past either. But I have is updates set to manual so maybe that's why?

Same story on my other phone Samsung A30s. So I guess it's not A2 lite specific.

This was a problem for me as well. My moto g 5g was stuck on that of 1 August 2020. I searched all over the internet but couldn't find anything that would work. I even did a factory reset but that too didn't work and the it was still showing that no updates were available. But yesterday while I was using the "Multiple User" option available under the "System" in settings (not as guest but new user) and tried checking Google Play system update and surprisingly there was an update available. I changed from new user to the original user (admin) and found that still there was no update available there. So I checked back to the new user and updated the phone. Why Google treated the new user differently is something that I want to know?
