Open a command prompt (windows) or terminal (linux / mac). How to do it: On Windows: windows + r > enter "cmd" (without quotes) > click enter | On Linux: You don't know how to open a terminal? LOL | On Mac: Type Terminal into Spotlight and open it
CD to the directory where the adb executable is located. On Windows: Go to the directory where you downloaded the adb executable, Shift+Right Click and select "Open Console" (or similar) | On Linux / Mac: Rightclick in the directory and select "Open Terminal here" (or simply CD into the directory)
Type in your cmd/terminal: adb devices to verify your device is properly connected.

Offc no, i have flashed many times. But it seems that new twrp 3.1.1.0 version, cant format my internal storage because of this error.

Ohhh I see. Well either you roll back to TWRP 3.0.0.0 or try to install ROM (even with errors) then factory reset and do a wipe and reinstall.

I did that. But, older twrp version does not support f2fs file system, but i want to have that. So, the questions is. How to format my internal storage wth twrp 3.1.1.0 so i can get f2fs? And what with that encryption, i didnt encrypt anything. Is it twrp bug, because older versions works well, hmmm.

I see. Well mate I'm afraid I'm not equipped to solve all that. But maybe it's a bug , who knows.

You can root it, magisk comes pre installed. There will be no issues with OTA at all. Don't worry about that. OTA will work as intended. :laugh:

What is a LogCat?
A "LogCat" is for debugging applications / Android system. When applications / Android crash the output the "explanation" for the crash, the Exception Stacktrace, to a Log. This log can be saved and help developers to fix the crash.

It will help to solve your questions, if your asked for a LogCat it is always useful.
How can I get a LogCat?
Prerequisites:

USB cable for your device
Android Device
Instructions:

Install your device driver for using adb. Everything you need will you find here
Download adb executable for your OS (Download: Windows | Linux | Mac). Paste it somewhere.
Connect your android device.
Verify if "Settings > Developer options > USB debugging" is checked, if not, simply check it.
Open a command prompt (windows) or terminal (linux / mac). How to do it: On Windows: windows + r > enter "cmd" (without quotes) > click enter | On Linux: You don't know how to open a terminal? LOL | On Mac: Type Terminal into Spotlight and open it
CD to the directory where the adb executable is located. On Windows: Go to the directory where you downloaded the adb executable, Shift+Right Click and select "Open Console" (or similar) | On Linux / Mac: Rightclick in the directory and select "Open Terminal here" (or simply CD into the directory)
Type in your cmd/terminal: adb devices to verify your device is properly connected.
If your device is properly selected, type in adb logcat to show the mighty and magic logcat aka stacktrace.
Reproduce your error (or whatever) on your device.
Right after, paste the whole cmd / terminal window into a paste-service like [url]http://pastebin.com/[/url] and send it to us.

Smooth & stable ROM
Using this ROM for couple of hours. Everything is working fine, love this ROM. Thanks to the Dev.. (Add screen shots so that it will be useful to see what's new in DOT)
Doubt:
1. When i switch on the VOLTE, HD is shown in status bar. It shows in notification bar too. How to remove it?
2. How to keep Lawnchair as default home screen ?

Yeah, same issues for me too. I'm not writing the source code. I'm hjust making it for the device. These will be sorted in v 1.2 surely. And for keeping lawnchair as home : settings>apps>small gear in the top right> and u will have to go to default apps. In that home app u have to change

2 the power menu becomes white on using the black theme.

The new one is officially built. Also the qs panel has been modified slightly

I tried compile my own room too (AOSP with sources to mi note 3), byt always is problem with dual camera (zoom, bohem effect etc). Hmm, i dont know how to fix it and no time. If you could do it, you will be boss..

Hi, it is possible to use stock camera (blurry background with dual camera). I Cant make it, even after istall via twrp port of rom, it wont work. (Dual camera zoom work perfectly)

The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every OTA update (= ROM Update) as long as the instructions of your
root solution do not state something else (="persistence on dirty flashing") !

It was not working use camu app for video recording

What about the camera....does it working perfectly without video recording or cracks while taking pictures by turning on flash....?

I installed this room but issue with the jio 4g voice app this shows the phone has volte and this app not working on this devices any solution for that

Installed this Rom, Talking about the interface and the battery life is immensely good and the Rom is smooth and looks beautiful.l, but it has few bugs, i really wanted to keep this Rom but can't as even after clean flash am keep on losing my Baseband and Imei number, I flashed stock Rom then reflashed this one and again after few re-start the same issue due to which my sim card shows not detected. Apps like Hotstar, Evernote, Dream11, Viva video editor doesn't work on this Rom.

stuck on finding server and provider
this happens with every custom rom i've tried.

Which TWRP version should be used? Cannot get this installed by using 3.0.2.2 and newer versions are just causing boot loops. Any idea?
