Rooting your device
Android rooting will cause to loose your device warranty. You can use odin to root device, Most important is backup before use odin application.

I was trying to build LineageOS for sm-j327p using the guide from the wiki, but I realize now that it is only for supported devices. I need help on how to build it. I already downloaded the source code, but I am not sure if I have to extract proprietary blobs, but even when I tried that, it didn't work because I didn't have a directory with the device specific files.

No its not difficult, they are very easy steps. Unfortunately nothing more simpler can be done when it comes to the steps mentioned in that post.
I have a samsung s7, I had some problems with it so I had to reinstall it via Odin. I downloaded a firmware called SM-G930f Three sweden. and since then the phone was locked to three sweden. is it even possible?? How and why?
I downloaded other software but the problem persists. Is there even a solution?
I could use any sim card before i installed the Wrong firmware

What you want to know is whether or not it will WORK !! Good Question. Short answer - probably not completely but finding out what doesn't is the first step towards how to figure out the build that will. If you have plenty of good backups, awareness of how to get back to where you started from if it doesn't, and a willingness to hit the button, there is one sure way to find out. I'm trying to find a combination file for my galaxy s7 edge. I have come across many and am under the impression that as long as my firmware number matches except for the last 4 digits it should be compatible. The only issue is I can't find one close to my firmware number. Or I may have grossly misunderstood the document on how to read combo file names. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Thank you for the help. I've tried the combination file you've provided and it worked! However, I realized too late that the combination file was for an ATT phone and mine is a T-mobile. It upgraded my binaries to v5 and the only stocks for my phone are v4. Since I can't roll back binaries I suppose I will just wait and see if there is a v5 firmware released for my phone. Thank you again for the help and knowledge.
