Hi,
Im facing this issue from quite a few days. The sim card is not getting any signals and it always shows "No Sim Card". I have tried it in both slots and with many sim cards. I have also performed recovery options like wiping the cache and resetting factory settings.
IMEI no. is showing for both the SIM slots and also the network bar on the notification bar appears to be blank for the specific slot in which the sim is inserted. All other things are working fine like WIFI, Bluetooth.
Please help in resolving this issue.

I would suggest if you are on a46 :
- install S056 build with qfil
- install your country's OTA.zip file
This last step might be the missing element to update your radio/modem...then you can install custom ROM again.

Yes I have tried Factory reset and radio on/off as well. I have also tried with several other sim cards but to no avail. The phone is detecting the sim card but shows different messages like "SIM not readable", "Emergency calls only", "SIM not ready", etc.

I suggest
1. Delete your current ROM with TWRP
2. Install stock rom s046
3. Update ota to s056
4. Update ota to s105
And I think your problem will be done

You can search the threads for the QFIL method to get back to stock ROM.
Then you can restore S046 or S056 and just after the success with QFIL, you can flash the OTA.zip file of your country located in /0/carrier of your internal storage. This way you will be able to update via OTA.
You can find the stock Roms on @Shreps website : http://moto.shreps.fr

Good day! I just want to ask if anyone has an idea of how to solve a weird and sudden problem that happened to my phone a few days ago.
I was running Cyanogenmod R16 with Xcelerate kernel.
I use two SIM cards on my phone, but I do not use the first slot all the time, so when I'm not using it, I regularly disable it through the SIM card settings, and enable it only when I need it.
What happened is, when I tried to enable it, suddenly both my SIM card slots could not be recognized (The SIM card settings could not be accessed; and error says: "SIM card info not available. Menu cannot be accessed"). In the lockscreen, it says: "INVALID CARD." for both SIMs.
I tried both restoring a backup and going back to stock MIUI, but still, the problem was there; none of the SIMs could be recognized (I tried using other SIM cards too.)
My IMEI's for both SIM slots are fine.
I've looked up on other forums, but I haven't found any others with a similar problem on the Redmi 1S.
If anyone knows what I need to do to fix this, I need your help. Thank you very much.
Have you tried both sim in other phone..?
If yes,and both working then should be problem with your imei!

Yes, I've tried both SIM's on another phone, and they work fine.
Since my phone still shows both IMEI's when I look for it, I assumed that there's no problem with them. What are possible problems that concern IMEI's? So that I can look up on general IMEI problems.
Thank you very much!
May be this can help friend

Thanks for the reference. Backed up my IMEI and Restored it right after, but still no change. Still, thanks!
EDIT: I've already tried two newly bought SIM cards, and the problem is still present.
Was this solved? Happening to me right now..
Happening to me too... Unsolved
For me just blowing in the sim slot & reboot fixed after few times..
if you have TWRP backup your modem & efs partition, just restore it via twrp. it worked for me
Hello,
I have a similar problem.
SIM2 is not recognized at all. I can use SIM1 only.
Tried to switch the SIM cards and still SIM2 is not recognized.
Both SIM cards are working great on other phones.
Is it OS related issue?
I've got same problem. Try to clean the sim metal contacts carefully and gently with an alcohol and qtip or tissue. It solved my problem.

Hello, thanks to my carelessness, I think I broke my dual sim functionality.
What I was doing was messing around in the network settings in Engineer mode that can be accessed using *#36446337#. And all of a sudden, both sims stopped working. After a lot of messing around with the RAT settings, I could get one of the sims working. After selection sim1 or sim2 in the options and changing the RAT settings for that sim, I can get said sim to work, but it breaks the other. No matter what I do, I can't get both working again. This was on Open Beta 9.
What I've tried doing since then:
1- Factory reset
2- Flashing another ROM (Lineage)
3- Flashing latest 4.0.4 firmware
nothing seems to get both sims to work. Always just 1 sim working. Does anyone have any thoughts what I could try?

Just do a full wipe with the unbrick tool and everything will be back to normal.
I have the same problem after I mess with the engineer mode.
Tried everything and still unsolved.
Try installing the modem or firmware of previous oxygen OS builds then updating the oxygen os

Yes, I tried the unbrick tool but it's still the same. It seems to me that the GSM/WCDMA band of the phone is broken. When put two LTE card into the phone, both can work under LTE band.

Installed the OOS3.0 and then updated to OOS4.0. Dual sim function won't work on both OS.
Flashing modem usually can solve signal lost on Samsung, but it seems that it won't work on Oneplus.

Well you just said you are a noob.. No problem but really dialing a number isn't going to break anything in your phone.. Wipe all partitions then Flash OOS 4.0.2 and o guarantee it will work, this is pure something in software level.
I have successfully fix the problem according to a post at Oneplus Community in China. Just Flash Official H2OS 2.5 (Android 6.0.1 ). Go to engineer mode. Choose Network Set -- Band mode --Hardware Default (Foreign) to fix the problem.
P.S. If you are in mainland China. Pls choose Hardware Default(China). Else choose (Foreign)

Hi everyone,
I am using a Oneplus 3 A3000 China variance. It was shipped with Hydrogen OS.
So i have unlock it and managed to flash it to Oxygen OS, as i need to use google services.
Everything was working perfectly fine until a couple of months later. I saw that Oreo is out and thus decided to upgrade it.
Using official method with stock recovery, i have managed to upgrade to the latest OxygenOS 5.0 using the below link
Oneplus 3 OOS5.0
I have followed the guide closely. Then after it reboot, my phone is no longer having service.
It will show my network SINGTEL (No service)
I have read close to 50 forums before i decided to post and seek help.
My phone info
OnePlus 3 A3000
Oxygen OS 5.0
Android 8.0 Oreo
Kernel version 3.18.66
Build number A3000_16_171116
Baseband MPSS.TH.2.0.c.1.9-00102-M8996FAAAANAZM-1.99649.1.118107.1
Stock recovery
Non root
Fingerprint, camera wifi all works
Both imei are still shown
Here is what i have already tried which all fails on me
1) Verified that Sim is not faulty. Have tested with 3 different working sim cards and it all shows no service on both Sim 1 and Sim, but works on my other phone
2) Tried using only one sim card at a time for sim1 and repeat with sim 2, same result as above
3) Remove sim card, power on phone and boot fully, power off phone and insert sim card and power it on again
4) Reset to default access point. Copied all settings from another phone using same telco access point setting and ensure its the default sim for data and services
5) Using *#*#46463*3* and set preferred network type
6) On the same menu, disable mobile radio power and reboot
7) Perform factory reset from phone phone system setting
8) Redownload OOS5.0 and reflash rom using stock recovery
9) Relock bootloader
Any help is greatly welcome. Phone no longer have warranty so i can't head back to the service centre.
Thanks for reading

Just updated to 5.0.1 through OTA. Unfortunately, it still did not solve the issue
Take SIM out. Reboot phone. Once powered-up, put SIM back in. This worked for me, even though it's a pain.

Thanks of the suggestion.
Have performed that too on my point 3
Tried something new today. Flashed back to Hydrogen OS hoping that it can detect my sim network
But sadly, it still does not detect.
Hi everyone.
Recently I have had some issues where sim cards are not working on my phone. At first I thought it was an issue with the sim cards but when I tried the sim in a different phone, it worked fine. I tried numerous restarts, taking the sim out and placing it back in (in case there was an issue with the contacts/sim tray) but this has not solved the issue. By chance I was looking at the phone identity menu and noticed that the IMEI and the IMEI SV fields both say unknown but the device serial number is fine.
I restarted the phone into download mode and checked the System info menu and IMEI number is displayed there but for some reason it is missing in the actual android OS hence I cant connect to the mobile network to make calls etc.
This all started recent after I had come back from abroad (had been using a foreign sim) and tried to use my UK sim. Up until that point, the phone worked fine with the UK and foreign sim. After inserting my UK sim, there was no signal. I got home and tried the sim in my other phone and it worked fine.
I have not modified the phone in anyway (other than flashing an official RUU to fix a boot loop issue - see here ) and it is boot locked and not rooted. After fixing the bootloop issue, I have applied all available OTAs that my phone detected automatically which upgraded the android version to 7.0 (OS 4.28.401.3).
I have tried factory resetting using the menu (not recovery mode) and this has not solved the issue. Any ideas as to how I can fix this IMEI issue?
Many thanks
Rob
Have you checked the apn settings are correct?. Have you checked other UK sim cards in your device that are known to be working?. Do you use a simcard adapter?.

Yep.. tried other simcards thats work in other phones but they wernt working on my phone.. most likely due to the missing IMEI. I also noticed that the colour of the icons on the pulldown tray were red instead of blue and the phone was sluggish when toggling wifi on and off or entering/leaving Airplane mode.
I managed to fix the issue in the end by downloading an RRU and flashing it from SD card. Everything works ok now.
Thanks for your contribution :good:

Hi, I have installed Pie update on my Mi A2 Lite however due to amount of the bugs I got back to Oreo V9.6.10.0.ODLMIFF. Since that time my SIM cards got swapped - SIM tray 1 is visible in settings as SIM 2 and vice versa. What is more annoying whenever I insert new card while phone is on, it does not auto detect that SIM has been just inserted and need to reboot phone each time I replace SIM in order to get connected to network. Can anyone help me with fixing this so the SIM ordering is corrected in software and auto detection is back on? Already tried reflashing rom and getting back to Pie but no improvements.
