Only the phone manufacturing division was sold.
The map and other services are still owned by Nokia.

Normal is latest version. Modded is first leaked version modified so that it doesn't expire anymore.

I live in Korea and I have a 'SHV-E370K' model what Korean version of 'GT-I9195'.
I have a new firmware update today. (I'm not sure when Samsung released this. Maybe I guess yesterday.)
I'm not sure what exactly fixed. But, It said fix for call.
I feel Interesting.
I didn't expect I will have long after service like this. (long term service? )
Of course, There is no android version upgrade.
So, It is still KitKat(4.4.4). But, I satisfactory for this.
Is there a firmware update at your country too?

No, the Korean variant is the only one who has Android 4.4.4. The rest in other countries have 4.4.2.

That sounds strange.
I can't understand how 4.4.4 custom roms can exist in this forum.
Are they made based on Korean stock rom?

It's not a build date. It's a security patch level.
I'm not sure when build this rom. But, I guess September 6th or 7th is release date.

Interesting, I wonder if the security patch was part of the reason. But probably it was just a bug in the phone call handler. If so I guess they thought they might as well add the security patches while they fixed the bug, which is good. But if the real reason is security maybe they will update 4.4.2 also ... .. only dreaming .....

Well... I was getting 4.4.4 version at last year.
I hope that other countries have 4.4.4 officially too.

Because in the final release from motorola everything should work. And that's why the problems in custom-ROMs can be fixed. All missing or wrong files can then be taken from the official release.

Im based in South Africa, my p20 has build 10.0.0.161. Will i still get an update to push it to .180 so i can possibly join the beta testing for emui 12?
My last patch update was back in April 2020, so a bit concerned.

How is it that you can receive EMUI 12 OTAs, when I can't even get EMUI 9 OTA on my "new" p20 (EML-L29)?! I already tried using the HiCare app on the phone itself and even talked to the support. They said my chip "doesn't seem to be suited for EMUI 9 or higher" – Is that even possible?

What region do you have? I have Poland set and I still don't have this update.

Just released EMUI 12 region Europe(c432) italy

Is it just me,or Huawei P20 with EMUI 12 seems a little slower and more laggy?

mate 10 is more laggy and fluid at the same time :/

EMUI 12 available in France on Orange tel - single SIM (L09). Was thinking that it would never happened on this operator rom...

guess the people with the Huawie p20 EML-l09 can screw them selves bc there isn't any updates coming for it, but all the other p20 models get it.

Surely. But I have been trying for 2 days continuously. Same error happening all the time. This( screenshot ) also happening from the beginning.

Are you signed into your Mi account in the tablet? If you are....then it is definitely a server issue. It happens a lot with Mi servers.
If you are not signed in....then sign in...and restart your tablet.
I guess your tablet is running the stock firmware?

Yes I have already signed in. Yes it is stock firmware. Indian version. 2 days ago I bought the device. I didn't do anything with the software.

Hi sir, same thing with my side. I think it's because tablet came with latest version pre-installed. After you will get new update you can see update log afterwards because same thing was happened with my poco f1 when i bought it first time. Let's wait and see if it will be gone after new updates or not.
