Sure but I need the firmware extracted. If u can pass me the /system/media folder ...
I don't hear any difference in sounds, I don't know if it works or not.

I have p8 lite 2015 with emui 4 and I don't hear any difference
maybe the installation went wrong somehow.

Please download and extract the last firmware of p8 lite 17 and check yourself there: System/media/audio

Hi all there, um just sharing the link of workable dolby sound... An Amazing sound I found there. i've tested on All lollipop, marshmallow and some Nougat based custom rom, yah working. Just follow step 1 only but for stock rom/ID crisis6 u have to follow step 2 alongside step 1.
->Nougat 7.x?? ( Yes!!)
-> Oreo 8.x?? ( Should work too)
KK/LP/MM/N Custom rom/step 1 :
*download zip from below
*uninstall/freeze build in Audiofx,
*Flash Zip via Recovery
*After flashing Dolby Atmos, wipe cache/delvik
enjoy.

For Stock Rom/ID crisis6/Step 2: U have to flash this zip too from below. After flash u can disable "viper atmos" from application drawer.
then u must got working DOLBY eq on stock rom too!!

No Effect? try tips from below:
* if u found no effect then try to switch off-on "surround virtualizer" once from option.
** plz disable "volume leveler" option.
*** try with "Musixmatch" once. cause some music player doesnot catch the DOLBY. e.g. AIMP
works on cm13.. disable audiofx first

there's a link for Stock rom on the top. try that.
but u should try only DOLBY for first time.

u have to flash two zip file. ViperAtmos and DolbyAtmos. both zip are there on OP. and after flash u may disable "viper" from application drawer.
let me know if it works.
The second file to flash its an apk file, not a zip, or maybe I'm downloading it wrong, can you check that please?

Hello Everyone! Looking for Pseudo Stereo/Dual Speaker MOD for your amazing device? If yes, then you are at the right place, I tested it on my redmi 5 plus (Original MIUI Global Stable/Developer roms, MIUI Custom roms as well), lets go through the guide
Requirements:
Unlocked Bootloader
TWRP or MAGISK your choice
Nougat 7.1
Oreo 8.1 MIUI10
Magisk SELinux Manager (Download Magisk SELinux Manger and install using volume buttons, select permissive by using volume low button then reboot)
How to install?
There are 3 easy ways to install this MOD:
1. Manually copy the files from archive "Manual" into the path of mixers and change permissions to 644 (rw- r-- r--) using root explorer.
2. Fash TWRP, Flash Nougat_TWRP_Xiaomi_Redmi_5_DualSpeaker.zip, TWRP will create a backup for your current Mixers saved in the same mixers location...
3. Or just install Magisk, install module Nougat_MAGISK_Xiaomi_Redmi_5_DualSpeaker.zip For Oreo install MAGISK_MIUI10_OREO_Redmi 5 Plus Dualspeaker.zip and reboot.
How to revert?
There are also 3 ways to revert back to Original:
1. Manually copy the files from archive "Original" into the path of mixers and change permissions to 644 (rw- r-- r--) using root explorer.
2. Simply flash TWRP file Nougat_ORIGINAL_TWRP_Xiaomi_Redmi_5.zip.
3. Remove/Disable the module from MAGISK and reboot

Dual speaker uhh?!
Vince has only one real speaker and other one for aesthetic purpose.
So..... Do I really need this?? Will it make a dummy speaker work?

Oh what a rare info u hv just gave to me, btw this mod produces stereo/dual speakers effect by using earpiece speaker, flashing this mod will take only 2 minutes so you should give a try, after trying don't forget to give feedback

When there is an incoming call and I receive it I can not hear anything what the other guys is saying!!! But if I call him it's fine
