I've seen pixel XL 2 (black n white one), with different fingerprint colors? Do they ship with different colors from anyone with first hand experience?
Nope only 2 colours, full black or 'Panda'.
If you've seen otherwise they may have a skin on it, i.e. mine is a 'Panda' and has a white fingerprint sensor and a black back because of a vinyl skin.

Hello,
few weeks ago [3 may 2011] i bought a new desire HD
and today, i realized there's a stuck pixel at the top right panel near the clock, the panel gray and the stuck pixel just colour almost same, take time and focus to realize it.
i create a new thread because all other threads of the stuck pixel didn't give me any solution
and this stuck pixel not just stuck in 1 colour
but,
when the screen is white, the pixel is red
when screen blue, its blue [dissapear]
when screen light purple, its light purple
when screen black, its black
when screen green, its blue
idk if the pixel really gone when its blue or purple, but my eyes are normal i guess..
JscreenFix tested, 1 hour, no work
tapping, scrubing, massage method, no work
is there any other method that you recommend?
i didn't root the phone yet because it still in Warranty, and i guess if i bring it to HTC Care, i won't get a new unit, but a new lcd, and the mechanic sure open the phone and broke the void sticker..
any suggestion?
Hi everyone, about two weeks ago, I bought a Galaxy Note 2. I think it is a great phone, but since yesterday there is a single subpixel that is always blue. It only becomes dark when I lock the screen or when I shut down my note 2. Since a "stuck" pixel is only possible with LCD screens, and not with OLED screens, I was wondering whether I should contact samsung for a replacement or if there is another way to fix it. I know it's only one tiny pixel, but it is still very annoying when the screen is a bit dark (only when the screen is white, the blue pixel is invisible, but that is just because red, green and blue make white).
Does anyone have suggestions?
Hello, i have a white nexus 5 which broke its screen, however here in brasil i can only find screens with the black color(black speaker grill), can i replace my white one to the new screen?
You can mix and match colours. The only difference between red, black, and white is colour. Everything else is the same.
I have swapped many parts and screens between red, white, and black nexus 5 phones.
Got my white pixel XL and noticed first that there's a tiny black border around the AMOLED screen itself on the inside of the bezel. Now I can't unsee it. A few pixels wide, but seems like a cut corner. I'm sure less noticeable on the black version, though maybe not since its more of a dark grey. Anyone else confirm this? Is every phone like this/am I crazy? Is it scaling issue? Certainly don't see a border on my 6p. All in the little details. Too bad because I wanted Google to nail it with this phone.
I think all phones with a white front are like this. Some are worse than others. This is a big reason I like phones with a black front. I had the silver Pixel for a while and didn't think it was that bad. You should look at a white iPhone! It has a huge border.

What this guy said
I got a brand new Pixel 2 xl today manufactured in April 2018.
My observations about the display
It definitely have some mild graininess on pure white color. You can observe it if you take it close to your eyes. I used the Display Tester app to get white background and test this.
There is a very mild blue tint when looked at off axis.
The white doesn't really appear pure white when compared to Oneplus 6T display.
I compared this with my friend's Oneplus 6T displays and 6T didn't have any of these issues.
My question is, does everyone have graininess and blue tint issues to a minor extent? Has anyone got a pixel 2 xl display without any issues?
Could you post your photos of display on a white background?
Should I return my phone and try my luck again?
I've got a barely visible blue tint off axis, but my display is soooo grainy. I've never had a display this grainy. Can't post photos. I don't think you should return it because there is always the chance of it becoming worse, and blue tint is just an oled thing.
