OnePlus 3
OxygenOS 5.0.1
UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER
After i upgraded to 5.0.1 this happened 2 times in a row, i used it for 1 to 2 days normally and I was able to load, but when the cell phone unloaded this error happened "BATTERY IS TOO LOW". The phone is 24 hours in the charger and does not leave this screen "BATTERY IS TOO LOW". I already tried to change the charger and the cable, but it did not help, if you keep pressing the POWER BUTTON it turns off it turns off the SCREEN. Pressing the POWER + VOLUME UP BUTTON or POWER + VOLUME DOWN button does nothing. I can not go to TWRP, so the phone does not come out of this error! Somebody help me?

Have you tried a non dash charger? Perhaps try the unbrick guide next or contact Oneplus.

From the looks of it. YOur battery is dead and will not accept a charge. This happens when people over charge the battery or constatly use them while they are pluged in. Time to get a new battery.

Over charging is not a thing anymore, right?I get that keeping it at 100% increases stress on the battery and additional wear but it never should destroy a battery.

Not unless the device has a bypass mech built in. Like some laptops these days. Leaving a device plugged in all the time degrades the battery. You increase the stress on a battery long enough and it will fail. They were not made to be on the charger all the time.

Have you tried reverting? Just because this comes up after that doesn't mean it's not damaged. Try reverting and see what happens.
Did you slove it ?

Hi All,
I have experienced something wrong with my HTC one x (upgraded OTA). It is off automaticly when reached around 40-60% battery. it happens randomly but mostly around it.
when i turn on again, it is just start till the unlock screen and it suddenly OFF again.
I have to plug the charger first and start again to make it live.
when i checked the battery while charging from the sudden death. it is charging from 35% power which it means there is still a lot of power.
when it is charged full to 100% it is automatictly off again when reach around 40-60%. In these case it off at 65%, please take a look at my battery log at the attachment.
Does anyone experience the sama thing, please help me to figure these out.
thank you so much for the attention.

Uhm I'd suggest you try a battery recalibration, it might be some issue with the software! Try letting your battery drop to 0 % (I really mean that the phone falls out because of zero power, then reboot it untill it no longer reacts), then the phone is completely empty.
Then recharge it again to 100 % (let it charge for about 8 hours).
But to make sure you bettery just google "battery calibration" for a good guide on it!

thank you so much for the tips, right now i will try to make it really empty and charge. one question when it is already full should i unplugged the charger first and then calibrate or i just calibrate with the charger plugged on?
it is still happen and my phone shuts down by itself randomly around 40-60%.
is there any other solution i can do to get rid these battery case anyone?
Have you tried clearing Battery stats in recovery, then let it drain till the phone shuts down, then charge till full while the phone is still off... The LED will turn green once it's full...
If still same problem, charge till full again, turn on Airplane mode and run the battery test, on your dialer key in *#*#3424#*#*, click "Accept" then on bottom right tap on "More", select Battery test and click run
my battery pass the test but the status of it still error. it will shut down by itself when comes to 40-60% randomly. TT i have never experienced my phone low battery or red. it dead already around 40-60 so i should charge it.
I posted that then I saw your thread:

Hi guys, 3 days ago I bought this HTC Desire VC, its dual on GSM and CDMA. If I'm not much mistaken, it's only distributed on India and my country (Indonesia).
This phone was worked just great. Until I want to do a rooting process on it. I already googling it and found tutorial step-by-step (I'm just a rookie on this rooting stuff) on this awesome forum. The problem begin here. I started doing the process around 5 in the morning, Yes, early in the morning because I'm very excited. The first step is, removing the battery, put it back, then press the Volume Down + Power button. Then choose Fastboot -> Hboot. But after that, I needed to go to work! So I decide to do the rest when I got home in the evening, and just bring that phone to my office and use it as usual. Yes, I do realize now that what I'm doing that time was stupid, completely my own fault. A day uses (a normal uses), my battery decreasing (until around 40% or some), I try to charge it on its original charger. To my surprise, after several hours the battery won't charging (the screen and icon animated charging, but actually it doesn't. I check it on setting -> power, it keep on 40%). Thinking maybe the charger has a little trouble, I plug my phone via USB to my laptop, it keeps won't charging. Curious, I begin google it. It seem it has something to do with this fastboot stuff. Fastboot doesn't allowing the OS to charge the battery or something like that, CMIIW. And now, the battery has 0% in it. I found this tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=26212322&postcount=6 but it's too late, my phone can't turned on at all. If I connect it to my laptop or plug it to wall-jack, the animated charging battery showing up, but it keeps 0%, won'tt charging. The power button doesn't work (I think because it has no power left), Vol Down + Power neither.
My plan tomorrow, I will charge my battery via universal charger (I don't know what's it called), here is the screenshot:

Try asking in the Desire VC section. This is the Desire (Bravo) section. You'll probably get an answer there.
Hi guys.
My brother gave me his HTC One X which he bought 2nd hand a couple of months ago.
A few days ago this problem occurred out of the blue. The battery is completely drained, and any time it's plugged into a power source (PC or AC adapter) the phone turns on for a few seconds, then dies. The red LED light is on during this period This process repeats over and over until the power is disconnected. I've included a video of the process here:
If I hold the volume down button, I can get into the HBOOT menu, but no matter what I press it stays at the screen in the below pic, and the phone turns off after a few seconds anyway.

If I leave it plugged in for a few minutes, the battery gets charged a little bit and I can turn it on for a few moments unplugged. Unfortunately it goes through the same motions. When I hold the volume down in this case, I get some options in the HBOOT menu as in the pic below.
Unfortunately I can't do anything in this screen, not even cycle through the options, and the phone reboots in a couple of seconds anyway.
I left the phone plugged in all night last night hoping that a charge could build up slowly so I could do something, but unfortunately it didn't make a difference.
If there's anyone out there that could help me with this I'd really appreciate it. I don't know if it's been modified or anything, my brother said he never touched it but didn't know whether it was modified beforehand or not. I've a suspicion myself that it's a hardware fault, hopefully it's something as small as a bad battery. What do you guys think? Much appreciated.

Download this go in bootloader and run the ChargeONEX.bat from cmd . Report back
Hi, thanks for your response.
when I run ChargeONEX.bat, it gets stuck on <waiting for device> because the phone won't stay on long enough to do anything. It just turns off after about 3 seconds.
If I'm doing something wrong please set me straight!
Thank you.

No in this case you can't do enything else. Try to hold down power button for longf time and see what will hapend. Try to go again in bootloader.
And you see only this Waithing for device?

I've tried doing this and unfortunately nothing different happened.
Thanks for your suggestion though.
Did you ever fix it?
So I've had my zenwatch for about a week now and lastnight it was working perfectly fine but this morning I woke up and my screen was black. I placed it on the charging cradle (which normally triggers the screen to turn on) this time nothing happens, the white charging indicator light on the cradle lights up but the screen does not cut on. I've tried holding down the power button, cleaning off the charging prongs, even using the usb of a pc for trickle charging but nothing seems to wake the screen up. Has anyone else ran into a similar problem? Know of a possible solution?
Thanks

If the battery is totally flat it can take a while to show signs of life. Leave it on charge for half an hour and see what happens.
Left it on the chargwr for 8 hrs last night. Still no sign of life. Its so weird i have only had the watch for 1 week and its in perfrct condition. It just wont cut on.
Did you get an answer to this as I'm now in same position
Same thing has now happened to me!
Maybe they have a self destruct ready for Zenwatch 2 release! Will have to get my Moto out of hibernation when I get back home....
I am not sure but I think your watch is dead. One of my friends was using the Zenwatch and he has faced the same kind of problem. He couldn't get back his watch. You can contact with customer service.
Bug bug bug
Same problem happen to me... after 2 month of usage (updated to 5.1.1)
Accidentally my watch wont charge anymore until the battery running out
If I put my watch on charging craddle with original travel charger, the white led indicator of craddle turn on but my watch still won't charging and the screen just black... no vibration, no display, no sign of life... try to press power button as long as I can.. doesn't help...
Is this hardware defects or just software problem?
Anyone has solution or fix for this?
It is so weird..
Same issue. didn't charge it for a week and now wont show any signs of life even after leaving it on the charger for days. also tried holding the reset button for minutes.
Hi,
just recently I had the case with ZenWatch from Asus, which was shelved for one year. After connecting to charger screen stayed black and watch was vibrating (short vibration every two seconds).
This is typical fault of COMPLETELY discharged battery. Had such cases with telephones before. By experiment I found the way long time ago. You have to "initiate" or "ignite" battery. In case of telephone batteries take out battery, use old USB cable, clean wires from insulation from one end (opposite to male plug). Use black (-) and red (+) wires as 5 V supply. Identify + an - on battery. Prepare your phone, watch charger for charging. Touch end of + wire to + contact on battery/watch and - to - accordingly for about 20 - 30 seconds. After that quickly put battery to phone or watch to charger and normal charging will start. Be careful not to make any short circuit with wires or wrong terminals.
I made it many times and always successful. In case of Asus Zenwatch proper contacts are these corresponding to first two pins of charging cradle from the side of USB connection - outer one is ground (-) next one is +.
Good luck!
Happened to me recently after washing my watch. Turned out there was a little bit of water inside and after drying it, it powered up and started to charge properly again
I've recently had the same problem. When I connect the charger, the watch vibrates once then does nothing. Screen stays black no matter what I do, and I've left it charging for days now
Hi guys, anybody has an idea why is my SM-T320 is changing that slow. It almost cannot reach 100% even if I keep it 13hrs or more on the charger. Reboot doesn't help, maybe if I switch it off is a little bit faster, but not so sure.
Thanks in advance.
Sent from my SM-T320 using Tapatalk
Yeah sometime it happens with this device my best advise is don't try force charging it (leaving it plugged in), it will only make it worse and damage / overheat the batt..
Do this instead leave it at the current charge and use the tablet until the battery is down to about 10-15% then reboot the tablet, see if the percent changes as this forces the tablet to re-evaluate the battery, then fully shut down press the power button down for 5 - 10 seconds and choose power off.
plug the tablet into the samsung charger (don't use unofficial chargers/ cables if possible), it should reach 100% now.
some other things I have tried that can help
I have a cable that monitors the amperes and sometimes I notice the tablet doesn't request enough feed from the charger (it starts trickling at like 100mA) usually when its almost nearly charged,
so sometimes if you force keep the screen on with moderate or full brightness, and power saver turned off while charging this causes the charger to send more current and you will notice it will say 100% a lot faster, so that is another thing you can try.
As a last resort you can re-seat the battery but I would only suggest that in extreme cases.
[email protected] , thanks. Last night exactly at midnight i put it on the charger, it was on 50% like. After 7 hours it was 95% . I rebooted it and after 3 minutes it was 100%.
Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
I was having the same problem, changing the usb cable did the trick...
I tried with my i9505 charger which is the same but again the same issue. Actually for example when reaches 30% it stops you have to reboot the device to continue chargin. Sometimes but not very often it charges normally.
Sent from my SM-T320 using Tapatalk
Yeah it's very picky sometimes I wonder if it's temperature related, mine was never as bad as yours but I have seen it stop at around 95% a few times, I have an amper cable and it reads like 100mA - 50mA (in standby, 0mA - 10mA if wifi is off), sometimes unpluging the charger and re-pluging it in gets it going again.
You could try to fully shut the tablet down, and keep it off for 24hours - let everything kindof reset and discharge (like if it was exposed to ESD) , shame samsung didn't include a reset button since that would be like pulling the battery.
You might have the same battery problems many of us have, check the link in my signature on how to fix it.
I had that problem too.
Tried drain the battery end then it would sometimes charge to full but after 1 or 2 charging cycles the problem re-occured again.
Reseating the battery was the solution for me. After i have done that the problem never occured again. ( 8 months ago )
I believe it's somehow related with the smartcase. You guys have smartcases?

No, dont use any case.
I dont believe it is heat related. The onlu thing i did was disconnect the battery and reconnect. After i have done that it was like i had an new battery.
No problems with charging anymore and a little bit more stamina.
Dont know why, but many of us had this problem and this seems to fix that "bug".
I use an amp cable (shows the current flow), if the reading is less then 1880mA (at 50% or less) then I unplug the charger and cable use the tablet alittle more then re-plug it in - hasn't failed me yet
I think I found a solution :
Leave the device to complete discharge until it switch off by it self. Then put the charger but don't switch it on. Let it charges to 100%. I did that 3 times. Now I successfully charged it to 100% 2 times without switch it of.
The reason why I am looking for that kind of solution is because I have warranty, but Samsung will keep it for like 2-4 weeks.

Actually when you have disconnect and connect battery, the battery connector doesn't make good contact with pins of the black battery connector on main board.
The fix is very simple, push the clips of battery cable closer
