Hey, guys!
Google has been trying to switch navbars to white, and it seems any past effort to implement dark themes has been thrown out the window.
I know we have substratum, swift black/dark, and all that. But I'm curious if there is a more widely implemented black theme? Even with swift themes, the Google app has black text for certain things that is unreadable. And while I appreciate all the work the theme makers put in, I'd rather have a one and done solution.
Maybe it'll be something to do with custom ROMs. For all I know it'll be a future thing and I'll just have to wait. But I'm asking because anyone with more experience in this realm may have a better insight of what I'm looking for whether it's a definitive "not happening" or whatever it may be.
Cheers, guys!

Hey i have a few more things to sort out on my theme but i just dont know how to. Was wondering if anyone could do the finishing touches for me please. Inbox me
update. infact i have given up on trying to do something which is more technical then i can achieve. im uploading the theme for someone to hopefully take the project on. all i see is green or blue themes and the odd orange one has popped out but most of the themes are unfinished. you still go into stock apps like clock, contacts, gmail and so on and find the stock blue and gray look with the stock blue highlights. what i was trying to do is have a blend of black white and silver so that you could use any colours on your homepage and so on without being effected by the phone colour theme anyway if someone like minded but with the tech is up for taking it on then please do and just keep me updated if u finish it so i can use it

Okay, so I have a few ideas I was willing to work on. I have listed them above and you may vote. I'll let you all know what I decide later. If you got ideas, tell em by replying.
"Something like a Desktop"
But i just choose this because i've an A101 And if you reate an theme like that it looks like an real pc
maybe you should create an for 101/(70) and for the more little devices?
i love you Dark Theme but i want to see a lovely desktop on my 101's screen
Ilike to see something like ui dark theme but maybe you can do it not just for a70/101 maybe for smaller devices too? Like a43
I dont have a small device but if anyone wants to join in, we can test some things on their device.
@Silentrazor
Maybe you could design a "screenshot" so we could see what it looks like (like your bonu preview in the dark theme package)
Am going ahead for light and elegant.
How can I get a hold of one?
I want to make a theme for Honey3D/Honeysense. Neither of these roms have a red/grey/black theme and that's something I want. I figured I would take it into my own hands as opposed to nagging a dev.
Any ways, any tips for creating a theme are very much appreciated.
If anyone wants to try this, It might be a great app for the users that have a hard time seeing the grey on black that the present notification bar is displayed on the stock jelly bean ROM. I have tried a bunch of apps that change the bar's colors and some are really vivid, but are not able to display active things that pop in the bar like weather beetle, screebl icon, etc. It should be possible even without root, because the apps that are already available, can work on non rooted phones. All I want to do is change the color. That ought to be a piece of cake for someone familiar with the inner workings of the jelly bean ROM! If root is required, then so be it! either way would really rock!
I hope someone will jump on this and make it an aroma with color options when flashing....Just change the color!
Thanke!
Like the idea, but to get better help with this you're better off putting it in themes and apps section.

Thanks! I didn't know where the post would be most effective. Maybe a mod could move it there, rather than me double posting.
Thanks!
Hope there is someone that can do it for us!
Aloha!
I let them no, hope someone helps you out.
The Themes and Apps section is really for releases, mods and apks (once you boil it down). This is more of a request type thing. Maybe I can put it in Q&A?
Thoughts?

Also you can check out the general Android Themes section too. IIRC in the old days, we used to use Metamorph and ZipThemer and you could use the correct xmls and they would replace your pre-existing files in the Framework-res.apk and make a redo.zip (only ZipThemer did this) that you could flash. But like I said that was in the old days before we ever had a systemUI.
I wasn't too sure but thought metamorph was his best bet. I've personally never used it... Q&A is good though, I think.
vision is a BIG disability. i got this tab s for its lightweight bc hands get weak and i prefer the buttons at base like the note 3. i have the note 10.1 as well. ive rooted past devices so i know what im after but can anyone help advice me or link me to what im looking for?
android version is least of my worrys. but i know i can adjust font size and density with root access however, id like the most basic clean slate, dark themed menu ROM. i hate how bright it is through menues like system settings. so def want a dark theme.
im already geeky enough to figure out how i can get my internet browser dark themed but i recall way back when i had an epic device that there was a dark theme app store apk. is there one for this?
i know accessabilities can invert colors but that can only help with so much and wondering if there is a dark themed facebook apk too? but im sure thats pushing my luck lol
any advice or help with linking to things that could help me would be appreciated. ive been looking around but there is just so many. just needs to be clean and basic things and dark theme and stable. thanks!
