Hi,
I would like to share a simple project that I did last summer with everbody.
It was a program thhat checks you CPU temp and constantly displays teperatures
(not like lm_sensors that you have to re-run).
It is quite simple. Basicaly it reads form /sys/class/hwmon/hwon1/temp
and displays it like:
Code:
Pac. temp: 21.00 [||| ]
Core0: 15.00 [|| ]
Core1: 15.00 [|| ]
Core2: 15.00 [|| ]
Core3: 14.00 [|| ]
as I have said, it is very basic and simple, but it does the job.
It also supports hyperthreading.
To "install" it just complie it with gcc and move it to /usr/bin
To enable HT: change int hyper_t =0 to int hyper_t =1 in corecount.c

Just on the off chance...
Would any person know of a good class for handling BeginWaitCursor / EndWaitCursor. Which is:
- External to any one form.
- Holds a count of calls, so that cancels at correct place.
- Can be interupted, say to display a message, then shown as before.
- Works with a multi-thread application.
- If possible, locks user input when active. (like a model wait cursor)
- (etc)
Ben.
You may want to ask CharlyV in this forum - specifically this thread..
http://discussion.brighthand.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=97029
We've been creating neat little system wait icons in there...

Like the idea of changing the wait cursor. (The word 'wait' seems slightly superfluous, since it's the only cursor...) Nice site, I look forward to seeing what response I get.

Hello!
I am currently searching people who would like to create some Skins for my little Chameleon TicTacToe

You will have to create 4x three jpeg pictures.
One Background Picture, a picture with crosses (and background) and the same with circles (and background). The pictures will be sliced in a 3x3 matrix to print them on the screen.
Those pictures are needed in 4 different sizes:
Code:
(W)QVGA: P-237x237, L-156x156
ICON: 79x 79, 52x 52
(W)VGA: P-474x474, L-312x312
ICON: 158x158, 104x 104
This would give following file list:
Code:
SkinName156-cross.jpg
SkinName156-circle.jpg
SkinName156-background.jpg
SkinName237-cross.jpg
SkinName237-circle.jpg
SkinName237-background.jpg
SkinName312-cross.jpg
SkinName312-circle.jpg
SkinName312-background.jpg
SkinName474-cross.jpg
SkinName474-circle.jpg
SkinName474-background.jpg
A finished set of files can be found in the "ZIP" version of Chameleon TicTacToe:
http://scilor.ac-host.net/chameleontictactoe.html
Please post your set of pictures just in here
I will put the nicest into the next version of Chameleon TicTacToe

I haven't yet tried it against a phone, but it starts & looks like previous version on Win7-32bit, thanks
[EDIT] I have now used it & it works fine with my Star N9599T (MT6589T chipset).
I did find that there is a timing issue - there is only a tiny window between plugging in the battery & plugging in the USB - something like 2 seconds. It does work without the battery, but there doesn't seem to be enough power available & operations fail part-way - BE WARNED
At random intervals, my phone has a share popup that will cut me off. For example, watching a YouTube video, and it will pull up a share window. Picture attached below, and I've also gone and copied the shareable message. Here's what I've got:

Currently, I've been going through my applications looking for one with a matching version "86.0.0.24.87" to no avail. If anyone can help, please do
Thanks in advance!
