Hi,
EDIT - INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS - PLEASE READ
- After flashing the mod, the phone won't boot at first. Force reboot into recovery, flash again stock framework-res zip and reboot to the ROM.
- Then, reboot to recovery again, flash the mod again, and this time it will boot.
If it still doesn't boot, flash stock framework-res again and repeat the process.
I don't know why this happens, but a second flash of the mods are working 100% here.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
after a lot of trial and error with framework-res.apk modding on Oreo (resulting in bootloops), finally found a tool that produces bootable framework-res.apk mods in stock Oreo OOS. Should've gone the automatic way long time ago, but, oh well...
So, here's what's included:
- Disabled keyboard switcher notification
- Disabled high volume warning
- Enabled burnin protection
- Disabled beep when changing volumes with volume keys
- Changed battery notification low level to 5 and critical level to 2
- Enabled pixel blue accent color
PLEASE, backup your ROM first!
Flash in recovery,
EDIT: added revert to stock framework-res.apk flashable zip.

That's a recovery log, i don't find anything there unusual. It's booting here but I grant you, I had a lot of headaches getting previous mods to boot, but this one is booting here.
Do you have any substratum overlays installed? Try disabling that first.
Anyway, attached is a revert to stock framework so you don't have to reflash the whole rom.http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/5a4412c8109c0/10_Stock_Oreo_v1_framework.zip

Appreciate the zip. I'm going to disable Substratum and test again shortly.
Thanks for your hard work!
Hi @fjsferreira, I'm trying to mod a OP5's framework-res but for Android 8.1. I used advanced apktool but with apktool.jar 2.3.1 which is supporting android 8.1. I tried everything (not signed, signed, zipaligned, not zipaligned), nothing is booting. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks!
Oh thanks for that! Will try that!

You can do that with substratum and ozone 1.7 I think. No need to mess with framework-res just for that

No idea unfortunately, this is all trial and error for me too. Have you tried with the tool I mentioned in the first post? Don't forget to replace apktool inside the DBFreak folder with the 2.3.1 version.
@fjsferreira I see... Yes it was 2.3.1 ver. I'll try and try again!
EDIT: I opened an issue on apktool's github to see if they have a solution

I tried both ways. If it doesn't boot, flash the revert to stock, boot the ROM then try the mod again. Eventually it'll boot and every subsequent boot it works.

That involves decompiling OPSystemUI.apk with apktool to make the modifications. But apktool fails oreo framework compilation at this moment. Better use overlays to achieve that.

Welcome! If you found yourself looking for something like CleanROM based on the new 5.0.1 20G OTA, then you have come to the right place. This has been thoroughly tested by myself with no issues. Want stability you can trust? You have come to the right place. For best results, please follow the installation instructions below!

Features:
Deodexed
Rooted (SuperSU)

Bloat Removed
Updated LG and Google apps in /System
External SD Card fix
Build.prop tweaks for performance

What works:
Everything
What doesn't:
Nothing!
Credits:
@Chainfire for SuperSU
@MicroMod777 for stock debloated system.img and boot.img (Initial release. Version 2+ is the extracted LG KDZ)
@razz1 for increase FPS
@Morningstar for his Network Traffic Guide.
Installation:
Must have recovery installed (TWRP)
Do not wipe yet as the bootloader and modem flashable below looks for the phone build prop to verify variant
Install the 20G bootloader and modem if you haven't already (If you do not use this bootloader or have not done the full KDZ install of 20B/E/G, you will get a security error and the rom will not boot.)
Copy ROM to external SDcard
Reboot to Recovery
Wipe Data/Factory reset (I always do 3x for good measure)
Wipe Cache (Again, I always do 3x for good measure)
Wipe Dalvik Cache
DO NOT WIPE INTERNAL
Flash ROM
Reboot System
Profit!
A couple things to note:
If you use a different kernel, do not report issues until you verify issue with stock (included kernel).
I am not responsible if you brick your phone, but of course you would know that if you are flashing this.
Of course your warranty is already voided from rooting your phone.
If you would like to use this as a base, please include me in your credits and link to this thread.
I am in general a very busy person, so I like to rely on you and other XDA members to help eachother. That is what this is all about right? I will continue to update this as I feel necessary. With my flashing habit, that may be alot. Search before asking questions.
I built this ROM for my personal use and decided to share because of how well it works.
I am not a themer, so don't expect any fancy themes! If you would like to create a theme and share, please let me know and I will add it to the OP. This goes for any other MOD. I am happy to add things to the builds if they work well and you want to contribute.

You can get them from the stock rom. system/media/audio folder is what you would want to pull. You will also need to put the names of the ringtones/notification/alarms that you would like to use by default in the build.prop. You can find the correct spot by searching for the following lines:
Code:
ro.config.ringtone=CurveBall.ogg
ro.config.notification_sound=CyanMessage.ogg
ro.config.alarm_alert=CyanAlarm.ogg
Again, I make this rom for my personal use and cannot stand the stock music like ringtones, so that is why I made the switch. Just personal preference. If I ever get some free time, I will put together a flashable zip, but I have been in a hurry trying to get this out to share.
ok, so if I understand, I am sitting with 10m and running zonerom so I can flash this rom and it takes me to 10r? I don't do OTAs out of habit....

===================================================================
Here are the FULL instructions on how to add BoBCat's "Digital Blue" theme:
#1: Flash the STOCK ported BoBCatRom after a FULL and complete wipe in TWRP.
#2: Before adding or restoring any apps install the "BoBCaT_DigitalBlue.v1.1.apk" then reboot the
phone, go to the theme store and apply the theme.
#3: You can find "BoBCaT_DigitalBlue.v1.1.apk" and "BoBCat_Theme_FIX.zip" in the /BoBCatRoM_Theme
folder in the root directory of your phone (after flashing this rom)
#4: With a root capable file manager copy both of the above files into your internal sdcard.
#5: Then reboot into twrp recovery and flash the "BoBCat_Theme_FIX.zip" file.
#6: The BoBCat_Theme_FIX.zip is needed so the theme will remain intact, otherwise after the
theme's trial period is over it will uninstall itself.

Special credits to me @Misterjunky for making this port. LOL

Ok, well call audio is broken. I found this link and got it to work.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=3354226
You need to install the Boot.tar via odin.
Then audio fix file within the kit and 2.71 beta SU via TWRP.
DO NOT INSTALL CP or BL files. This is not for our phone and may brick the device.

Ok, when I flashed the above audio fix, I lost the buttons at the bottom except for home key.
I then downloaded Jovy's Stock_Modified_Kernel+Auto-Busybox+TWRP-3.0.2.1_G928T.tar file, flashed that via odin.
And everything seems to be working now including audio.
I tried getting the Theme to work but it keeps reverting to stock. Followed directions from theme download readme file, but no luck.
I did not find the BoBCat_Theme_FIX.zip file in the download.
Can anyone offer any help with theme. I cant get this too work?

There is no need for an audio fix, it's already built into this rom and it's
not part of the step by step instructions in OP #1.
I must have flashed this rom 5-6 times without any issues with in call audio.
Perhaps you have not done a full and complete wipe which includes wipe
data, system, cache, dalvik and last but not least a factory reset in twrp.
If the softkeys on your phone don't light up or don't work the reason for
that is that you have flashed a kernel which is not 100% compatible.
I have included @jovy23 's stock-modified kernel in this rom which is
100% compatible and as the instructions in post #1 states there is no
need to flash a kernel after flashing this rom.
Please read the easy to follow step by step flashing instructions in the OP.
Remember that this port is for the G928T phone, I have not tested it on any
other models or variants of the S6 Edge+ phones.
There is a reason for a full and complete wipe other wise I would have not
added it as part of the step by step flashing instructions.
Thanks,
Have a great day!
I was already running the stock completely stock MM for G928T, downloaded from Sammobile. I had TWRP already installed.
I did do complete wipe. I went a step further and wiped internal storage. Then side loaded the Rom in TWRP Mount.
What I didnt do is step 13- Once in TWRP Recovery, install Audax Rom.
I assumed you meant Bobcat rom.
Maybe that was it.
I broke the soft keys when installing, the audio fix.
I will re-download and try again. I will confirm later if it works. But it if you have tried it a few times and everything works. It should work, i Don't know what I may have done wrong.

I cant get the theme to work.
using this instruction:
HOW TO INSTALL
- Copy the apk in your phone
- Install it from the archive manually
- Expects that the application is installed
- Go to the Theme Store Samsung and apply
- Using RootExplorer or similar enters in data / overlays / and delete the folder "preferences"
- Then in data /overlays/jsonfiles/ cuts the bobcat.digitalblue.json file
** and paste it in data/overlays/jsonfiles/userjson
- restart
- Reapply the theme again by Theme STORE
- done
I cant find the:
BoBCat_Theme_FIX.zip
Any suggestions.
After restart the theme is still on, but when I go to reapply theme it is not there? Eventually it times out and resets.

Sorry about the "Audax" rom name typo, I just fixed it. LOL...
The BoBCat_Theme_Fix is in a folder called "BoBCatRoM_Theme" is in the root directory of your phone.
Using a root capable file manager go to the ROOT directory where you see the /system folder.
there you will see the " BoBCatRoM_Theme " folder.
Inside that folder there are two files, an APK and a ZIP file.
Copy both those files into your sdcard and install/flash from there.
Good luck,
Have a great day!

First of all, the instructions you posted might work BUT they are NOT needed if you follow
the theme instructions in the OP which I posted, it's much easier to simply flash a zip file.
In the opening post (1st post) I wrote step by step instructions on how to get the theme to
work properly. The theme apk file is in the same folder as the theme fix.zip file.
Please follow those instructions which I posted.
My instructions never stated to go back to the theme store and re-apply the theme.
My instructions say flash the rom, install the theme APK file, reboot phone,
go to theme store and apply the bobcat theme and then reboot to recovery
and flash the theme fix zip file.
Once you do that the theme will work just fine. If you decide to use a different theme and
wish to come back to the bobcat theme you will need to re-follow my instructions again.
You simply used someone else's instructions instead of the instructions which I posted
very carefully after testing the theme out to make sure it works and continues to work.
But when i flash the rom it turns my G928T to G928F ? Any help?

That's because it's a ported rom, it's supposed to display that.
Have a great day!
I see that you were able to add data toggle on this ported rom. I'm wondering if there's a way to add data toggle for stock DPD1 since there's no settings.db file. Best regards!
Great rom. Battery life is at least on par with the previous version of Bobcat and Audax.
Also, I didn't have the issue with the phone calls like I did with the prior version.
Great job, kudos to the developer and for the port
BTW, I have the 928T with an AT&T sim, no issues at all.

Yes you can flash this rom since you have already updated to Marshmallow 6.0
Just be sure you do a full wipe which includes factory reset in twrp recovery
before you flash this or any other rom.
Also be sure to follow the instructions which are in the FIRST post here.
Good luck,

Android System Battery Drain Fix
After Installing Custom Mods and rooting on Oxygen OS I was experiencing a Android System battery Drain .
Also in custom Roms based On OOS I also had the same problem.
I was draining 35-40 percentag of my battery in a charge cycle.
I searched alot past 2-3 days on my phone to see which process is causing this Drain problem.
I found many but stoping them didn't fix it .
Finally today when I found that after SuperSU was installed
It was causing the Drain so I found a fix for this
Fix
-Go to SuperSU app
-Settings menu
-Enable trust system User
-and enable grant permission during boot
-Then put the phone on flight mode and wait for it to cool down.
If this doesn't work
-Try setting default access to grant
-Enable MultiUser access

Are those fixed atm since I really need ambient display to work properly
Yup fixed
Need to integrate it with my ROM only
Il try mostly will finish dark notification first
Then this
But just request features here

DESCRIPTION
As you all know, MIUI Camera has been ported to Mi5 (gemini) from MI A1 by @stars2 which seems to work on Redmi 3S too. So I decided to create a thread about it so that every Redmi 3S users gets notified about it.
Also as mentioned by @stars2 in his thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-5/themes/app-miui-camera-ported-xiaomi-mi-a1-t3670607 that to add full features on other devices rename the MiuiCamera.apk/assets/decvice_features.xml/gemini.xml file to our own device codename. And as it difficult for a normal user to decompile, edit and recompile the apk, I done that thereby, unlocking all the features.

Solved that issue, just go to permissions of apps and grant all permission. Now camera will work like stock.

It works on aex and rr if you give permissions. Thanks.
The camera quality is still not that good..
Works on the last Remix. You have to manually grant permissions as you wrote earlier. Thank you.

This rom is base on stock rom.(software number 1.24.400.3.)
VoLTE and Wifi Calling are depending your operator service also support software from HTC.
I think this rom is not support VoLTE and Wifi Calling functions in your country.
Hi,if your want dedoxed rom base on your software, you must share file twrp backup.
Vodafone Deutschland Supported wifi calling and VoLTE.
Could you post some screenshot? Thank you.

Yes that's what I read to.
The u11 is supported because Vodafone has it in their portfolio I think.
So I guess it is up to Vodafone to make it work.

Hi,This rom process is defective.
I've written a summary of the boot Process at caution number 3.
You can use file ruu 1.24.400.2 for comeback stock rom.

I tried flashing the RUU to return my phone to stock rom but the flash keeps coming back as error. That's why I asked for a nandroid back up so I can try the restore method instead of flashing RUU method.

Did that too. Keeps returning as file size too large. I flashed it via the fastboot RUU method.
I tried TWRP but TWRP keeps coming back as zip file corrupted and cannot mount \system partition. or something along that line. I have downloaded the zip file 3 times. Still coming back as corrupted.
My phone is completely conked. I am desperate as that's my only phone.
