Yea, nice, but can someone tell me, why did anyone have to pay for that twice?

Does it even run smoother than tapatalk 2? I found that laggy a bit.. I just have the original you could say, v2.4.13.. And works great.

Other than being a multi forum app(not that I read any other forum nowadays) the interface looks better. I wouldn't buy at full price, just as I didn't buy version 2, but at a discounted price, I would give it a try

I also found it a bit laggy in comparison to the xda app, I bet it will probably get better over updates

Thanks for the replies both. This is really the only forum I follow daily, I'll probably give Tapatalk a go though anyway.
I bought it on sale and I switched back to the old one. It feels like they went with pretty over functional.

If you like paranoid android phablet mode you'll be more inclined to like the it. It's not meant for a phone display- and actually it is the replacement for their tablet app. I bought it because it's on sale for the price of a can of pop and maybe I'll get a tablet some day.
i used this entire time the beta, and apparently Tapatalk 4 it still has this bug remain from tapatalk 2
like when you scroll down it sometimes shows thesame block of threads twice.. or messages in threads..
Sometimes in Subscriptions only the threads I subbed to appear, and not the main page for example Nexus 4.
Also not all strings of text are translated which smells like beta.
New UI, same crap. But it's useful enough for me so I use it. Better than using browser for sure.
Love this App. If you are active with many different forums, this is the best app for you.
I hate the new layout. I'm going to keep using the beta version until I can't.
I bought version 2 long ago and I hoped that it would be upgraded so nobody would have to buy it again. I did anyway since it was only a buck but I really am disappointed with it.

Just bought mine today and the update came through. To be honest I am a little worried as the tablet gets hot even with minimal use. Anyone else noted this?

Mine does get warm pretty easy, but it's quite normal with the tablet being so thin. Nothing to worry about imo. It cools back down pretty quickly too.

Weird though as my note 3 stays nice and cool. Having said that this one has a snapdragon whilst the tab has an exynos cpu.I saw an article where a Russian with this cpu got a bend battery cover due to overheating.

I had the tab pro 8.4 with the snapdragon before this, and that also got really warm depending on what I was using it for. I believe the Russian guy had a faulty unit as no other people have had the problem.

All settled down now. I checked battery log and it turns out Google+ was busy scanning my 64gb a card I had previously stuffed full with photos and films ready for holiday trip which it catalogued and uploaded. There is still a notified lag/stutter in the launcher. I guess a custom rom may sort this out. Otherwise quite impressed with the screen when viewing the pics from my full frame dslr on it.

Thats good. One of the first things I did was remove google+ as I never use it. There is minimal stutter and lag, but this is very common on Samsung products. They need a massive makeover on their front end imo. I do like TouchWiz though.

Turning down the vibration level on keyboard letter select seems to have helped a little bit. But then again im not sure if this is just me.

Ditch Samsung keyboard, get Google Keyboard. Much faster, no lag, and the type prediction and Swype is infinitely better.

Nexus 6P sad I think I'm gonna buy iPhone 7 this time lag is everywhere
Lag is pretty bad and Overall Note 7 Device feels slower.
Features are great, But its damn slow compared to my previous Iphone 6S Plus.
I've experienced typing lag on a lot of devices lately, it's not the Note 7.

I agree. Typing lag is getting bad. The Note 7 is good, but lag should just not be a thing in 2016. Couple that with Verizon dictating your user experience, I wouldn't recommend this phone on this carrier.

I'm being forced to use non-OOS based ROMs so I can use Android Auto without experiencing random and frustrating disconnects from my car.

I've been using andriod auto without any issue on my op3 for the past 9 months. I'm using it on its own though not connected to a head unit. It's rock solid and rarely if ever hangs or freezes.

The phone can't handle it. It requires more RAM. Also the game needs to be optimized for better performance. Also Pixel 2 XL isn't the best at gaming. There are other phones out there which do a fsr better job at this
