Using SELinuxModeChanger app, you can set to permissive and give it a go, it sometimes work.
Another method is to delete a lib file within
/system/vendor/lib
Liboemcrypto.so, you can rename or simply delete, then reboot the device.

I personally didn't have luck with the permissive change and couldn't find the liboemcrypto.so file you spoke of. Is that specific to the Galaxy Note 4?
No sir, most ROMs don't have the lib, and what ROM are you using ?
Using liquid smooth on a moto xt926. I've noticed this problem on various cm12 ROMs I've tried. They had Netflix running for a while then it kind of stopped for recently then I think the last one I tried that I worked on was bliss pop 3.2. Jump over to liquid smooth because. Was pretty laggy and causing me a little pain. Back to a loading screen. Never comes up. I will say I thought it was a host file or ad block problem because I could get it going on WiFi. Just not on cellular data.
Think pulling and using the apk from a nexus device would change anything?
Beats me, I think that it probably is not an issue with the apk itself.
My best guess is that it is ROM related. Didn't cm ROMs have some DRM related issues a year or so ago? Wouldn't surprise me if it's something along those lines.
BTW, forgot to mention that you can't even get to netflix.com and browser. just more thoughts as to why I don't think it's actual program related it something in the ROM.
It is ROM/Kernel related for the Note 4 before I think @Mod57 fixed it but all it was is to change a build.prop line. Try and see if this works for you as well.
persist.hwc.mdpcomp.enable=false
If the value is already there and it says True, change it to false.
Did this on a previous build (cm12 5-8-2015 I believe), seems to work although more testing is needed to determine consistency. Failed first time worked second.
Sure hope that's it....!
Has anyone had better luck finding a solution for this? I came from DU's latest and now on CM12.1 6/25 nightly, everything is working great except for Netflix. I was never able to get it to work in DU so I won't be terribly heartbroken if I can't get it fixed, but I do not have Lyboemcrypto.so file or that specific persist line in my build.prop. Any other suggestions? I was getting a -504 error when attempting to install a couple apps, turning flight mode on/off took care of that, so I tried that as well as wifi on and off both for Netflix but cannot get it to initialize, all I get is the constant red spinning circle of the first screen. Thanks
Workaround
Install the module xposed cm10.1 Netflix workaround under xposed framework. Works perfectly on t0lte.
Edit: working on cm12.1

Hello guys. As you saw in the title, gallery app can't recognize these pictures. Let's say I download one picture on chrome. When I go to file manager app is there. When I go to check to gallery but it isn't there. Anyone knows what's the problem? I am in Android MM v20d by the way.

If you're rooted go into your build.prop, find "ro.lge.adoptable_storage" and change the value from false to true. I'm not 100% sure that is going to fix your problem but it might. Either way it won't hurt anything if it doesn't, and can easily be changed back.
Thanks for replying but that's not my problem☺ @rick09 and everyone else, try to download a picture from chrome. When downloaded go to file manager at download folder. The picture is there. Now, go to gallery app. The picture is not there. Sometimes appears of I reboot the phone but I can't reboot all the time. Hope you understand me now☺

Nope bro reboot is just a temporary solution. The problem will appear again. I find out a little workaround that we can do. Uninstall the updates of Google Chrome and use the factory version that came with a phone. Everything is perfect after that. So it's a Chrome problem. Tried other browsers like CM Browser and Firefox and worked well every time. But that's not a solution because I use chrome as my main browser. We have to send them an email I think to fix this.

My wife is experiencing the same problem on her G4 (not rooted). We tried viewing the image in both a gallery app that she installed and also in Photos, and neither one will pick up the new photo in the Downloads folder until after a reboot.
I am experiencing the same problem.
anyone can pass me the lg g4 stock gallery zip for flash please ?
Chrome has a recent update. HOwever, it's the same I think it's a bug from MM that conflicts with Chrome. I don't have other MM device so not sure.
I hope LG will have an update soon.
I have an issue that sprouted about a month ago. No matter what ROM I'm running, if I start to download a file (a new ROM zip, for example) it just disappears mid-download. I'll get to maybe 30%, then it's just gone. I have to go back to the link and click download again.
The only way I can sometimes get through a whole download is to change display settings so that my screen stays on throughout the whole download process. If I close my screen or do anything else, like go to another app, the download disappears at some point, every time!
Any suggestions? Phone didn't do this when I first got it or even after I rooted and ran a custom ROM for a while. It just started randomly..
Happened to me too. Was downloading a ROM and it just disappeared twice (once at 99%). Had to download via ADM.
Same here happens a lot to me, happened in community beta and oxygen os.. So using adm now
yep same here too. FreedomOS 1.5.1 (oos 3.2.6)
Same problem for me too. Even while downloading from play store(1GB+ games etc)
Hopefully this is addressed then, because obviously it's not just me.
Is anyone here using chrome as their browser?
I was told to try an alternative. Now downloads are fine. I'm using Pyrope browser. It's great and it's in the play store.
So i had this issue. Last few days nearly all rom downloads from different sources got aborted. I had a homebutton that was a bit wonkey so i decided to wipe all partitions, including internal storage and sideload oos 3.2.7 to see if it would solve that issue.
So i did. And then after reading this thread decided on a little test. I downloaded 4 roms from different sources including from afh and none aborted.
I can't be absolutely sure at this point that the the full wipe did the trick but it sure looks like it. I'll keep a lookout to see if the issue remains solved.
Here the same probmem ... Corruopted file system?
Still happening for me. Is it because of Chrome?
Play store downloads and third party downloaded are fine
It'a a chrome issue.
Good morning everyone,
I flashed Nougat OxygenOS (Open Beta 8) some days ago and made a full factory reset to obtain f2fs filesystem.
Since then, I can't install any big app from Play Store; with "big" I mean "games bigger than ~100MB", for example Monster Dash, Need for Speed, Implosion or Badlands.
I read about other people having the same issue, but no solution. Is anyone having this?
EDIT: issue solved in OpenBeta9!
Thanks.
Yup, same here. Downloads disappearing during downloading process has been a common issue on most of my android phones. But it's happening more regularly with OP3 now and wasn't an issue on stock build 3.2.7.
no problem.. are you waiting for wifi to download or what?..
Never had this issue before.
Tried in wifi, but when I click "install" it seems stuck with the "Downoading..." status with no progress.
Issue solved with OpenBeta9.
Thanks anyway!
Xiaomi Mi 10T 12.1.1.0.RJDMIXM
I experienced the following issues after recently updating to Android 11. Any help would be much appreciated.
1. I can no longer side load any app.
APK installation fails every time whether it's attempted on the phone or via ADB. I tried everything I could find online short of disabling MIUI optimization, as I'd prefer not to suffer the pain of resetting permissions (again). Has anyone successfully restored side load functionality in Android 11 by disabling MIUI optimization?
It may instead be related to something Google introduced with Android 11 called app integrity, which apparently makes it more difficult (hopefully not impossible) to install apps from sources other than the Play store. If this is the culprit, does anyone know of a workaround that doesn't involve me having to root my phone (too much hassle/risk for my liking), or reverting to Android 10 (assuming that's possible)?
2. MX Player keeps crashing after a few seconds of video playback.
I'm not sure whether this is a fault of MX Player, MIUI or Android 11. It's the latest version and worked just fine before the update.
3. BlackPlayer keeps hanging whenever I open it.
I'm not sure whether this is a fault of BlackPlayer, MIUI or Android 11. It's the latest version and worked just fine before the update.
I updated my Mi10T Pro to Android 11 with that version through OTA. After multiple reboots all sorts of weird things were still happening and I wasn't happy using the phone. The things you describe are the sort of problems I had - though not those things specifically.
I the end I figured I had no choice but to do a Factory Reset. Yes, it was a painful process re-authenticating into most apps, but since then the phone has been completely stable and no issues, including easy sideloading.
Neither of these three issues were solved by performing a factory reset, unfortunately.
Although, it turns out that if you uninstall 'MIUI security components' (com.miui.guardprovider) when debloating – something I believe Xiaomi introduced with this version of MIUI – you lose the ability to side load. Leaving it alone retains the ability to install from unknown sources.
So at least that's fixed!
New problem. Starting with this version of MIUI, if you allow an app to display permanent notifications, they'll be shown on the lock screen even if you've disabled lock screen notifications. I suppose this will get fixed in a future update.
For Mx player issue.. Temporary fix is every time you open it, after opening go to the mx player app info and force stop it then open mx player again. You'll be able to play videos normally.
