I have been using Aex rom ,the phone goes into deep sleep mode which cause fingerprint unlocking delay and some notifications are not right on time...Any solution for this ?
did you block something in alarm blocker?
it works fine in my experience .
If you use greenify, read the welcome screen , there is an option for user,if they use fingerprint often ? if you choose no at this stage, greenify will block relevant sensor while screen off.

Already done that dalvik/cache-system-internal data
Clean flash
Dont use greenify
Use naptime + background restrictor instead
Aet apps that you need notifications from as 'not optimising' in app settings - special permission - battery optimisation

yeah its disabled still didnt do anything
I also just started experiencing this after the most recent update.
It is absolutely annoying and it happens seemingly randomly.
Dear All,
I have this annoyance issue about high cell standby in idle time upto 90%, normally screen will eat most battery,
I search through forum and try to apply some tips but not work
exp: disable wifi auto scan, turn off wifi, forget network and clearcache ... and install AndroPlusMod (tick fix cell standby problem but then i cann't make any outgoing call, dial pad not response)
and also use "App Ops " to disable auto wake up but not work. It's only ok if i toggle the "air plain" mode
So Did anyone successfully fix this issue ? pls share with me and i think others will be applicable for their fone.
My device : Xperia ZL C6506, Android Lollipop 5.0.2
Brs
Known issues hovering all over older z series on lollipop. My friend has same .He tried factory reset.Firmware reapair ;now even worse.Battery is draining so fast during standby.
Batter rollback to older firmware if i were you. This is killing our old device.

Install better battery stats to see what is your problem, after installing that, instal amplify to block whatever is consuming battery
my battery after that last even 2 day if i dont play or stay all day on the phone
Same issue on CM12.1 (Android 5.1.1 - 2015-07-15).
Only solution so far is a reboot.

It´s a android bug and reaches all lollipop devices (not only sony).
You can see a bug report here:
https://code.google.com/p/android-developer-preview/issues/detail?id=2556
https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=165558
I´ve got the same problem.
After turning mobile data off, i turn on wifi and reboot the phone. then you can turn off wifi and it´s ok.

Thank for useful information.
Hope GG fix this in LL 5.1,
Hi guys I have found a solution to the lag at the lockscreen!
Please download the following app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.thedarken.wl
App Name- Wake Lock Manager
Steps:
1. Install the above app and open it.
2. Click on PARTIAL_WAKE_LOCK.
3. The above numbers should go to 4.
4. Now go into options (by pressing the menu button)
5. Check the following boxes:
Autostart On boot
Notifications
6. Close the app and enjoy!
You may go in app manager and untick "show notifications" if you find the app notifications annoying or unnecessary.
I have tried this on 5 phones and it works perfectly. It does not affect the phone otherwise and it also does not use extra battery(I have tested it).
Questions are always welcomed!
Here is my link to the youtube video for the same:

Thank you.
It works well , thank you for sharing.

Anytime!
thnks a lot
Surely it works, but this isn't a good solution.
Selecting number 4 in that app means that your phone will be "forced" in a partial wake lock state.
In other words when the screen goes off, the cpu it's still running and will never go to deep sleep (normal standby state).
If you use your phone a lot, this will affect battery life only a bit.
However if with a single charge your phone usually last 1-2 days, forcing a partial wake lock will affect a lot battery life.
Battery will discharge also when you are not using your phone... because cpu will be always on (partial wake lock).
So.. this is a "solution", but not a good solution.
Thanks for sharing this tips, but be aware.. if you use this app your phone's cpu will never go to deep sleep.

Hi FSRider,
I know what you are trying to say and I had the same doubts earlier. So I tested it for a week.
What i did was,
First I didnt use phone much(only calling and msging) for a day and then did the same thing using the app running. I found that the difference in consumption was very less. In first case 30% was consumed and in the 2nd case 33% was consumed.
Secondly, I played some heavy games for 1 and half our and without the app the consumption was 28% and with the app it was 31%.
Thirdly, I just didnt touch my phone for 5 hours. Without the app the consumption was 1% or less and beleive me with the app too it was 1%.
Cheers!

I have installed the latest build but still the lockscreen lag is present. I guess currently the above given method is the only method to remove that lag.
Since a few days I have been getting these humongous wakelocks (by nIPCollectorWakelock mostly) which are draining my battery too fast.
I was using Naptime earlier with Greenify, which worked but I usually missed my whatsapp messages because the thing won't retrieve messages unless screen was turned on. After that, however even Naptime could not keep the drain from hogging on my battery.
So I installed xposed and amplify and set this service and nIPWakelock to limited which had an effect for just a couple of hours after which the same drain came back.
As of now I'm totally out of ideas except factory reset or reflashing rom and kernel (which I don't want to do).
I have just turned the always scanning option in location to Off and also WiFi available during sleep to Off. Maybe that will do some good. Does this also keep the messages from being received until the screen is woken up?
I am on FreedomOS 1.6.1 with ElementalX kernel. Xposed is installed and only has 4 modules (Amplify, Greenify, iFont and Flat Status Bar)
Tried clearing cache?

Use amplify? I can link u one if you pm me. Maybe Appsops xposed? Last one really helps me!

NLP will be fired when GPS is used. Find out what app is using GPS and disable it and check. Amplify should block it. Use a higher value in Amplify.
Are you using the stock launcher? I've seen someone else with battery/GPS wakelock issues and it was because of the weather updates from the shelf preventing the phone from deep sleep.

I thought of doing that as well. For now, I have turned off amplify completely along with Wifi Scanning and Wifi during sleep. Turned on aggressive doze for Naptime. Appears to be working for now. For now I want it to make it through the day. Then I will Factory reset and flash FreedomOS 1.6.1 with Stock kernel to see if it helps.

Yes I read it too on the Oneplus Community.. I am using the stock launcher, according to a lot of people that might have been because of the weather panel in Shelf, I have turned that off too.. Not sure which one of the changes I made is working.
Same ROM here, same problem. For me the Android OS wake lock ended up being Google Assistant which I had enabled via an exposed module. I haven't looked into the why of it yet or searched out if others were seeing the same. I've been using the assistant on a couple devices and half a dozen 6.01 ROMs without issue so I suspect it might be fixable...
Hi all, I updated my rooted note 8 pro to miui 12 through twrp yesterday and all went fine but after some time I realized that I am unable to receive any notification including WhatsApp and outlook email and when i manually open the app, I receive pending messages instantly... so i tried to do some tricks. myself.. I turned off battery saver for it and set it to no restrictions and also turned on auto start option as well but no luck ... issue is still same..
i also tried to turn off adaptive notification in special access section but it didn't help either, also it sets itself to notifications option (2nd option) automatically after i restart my phone.. so , anybody got a clue what should i do for it as it is so important for me to get all notifications instantly... Thankyou
i have Indonesian rom installed in my phone in case it matters..
Did you reboot after turning on auto start? Also try setting the notification priority to high or locking the apps in app manager.

Of course I rebooted many times and notifications already set to high priority by default but still I am unable to get notifications.
Did you lock the apps with app manager and set battery optimizations to no restrictions?
