Bluetooth audio not showing all info - OnePlus 5T Questions & Answers

Kindof **** title iknow.
So the thing is, with my Galaxy S8 my radio would show if a song were playing or paused, and it would show the timer for current song.
With my OP5T it shows as always playing, even though it is paused + It doesnt show the timer count. What could cause this?

Anyone ?

WM6 Media Player stops after device goes off

hi,
does anyone know how to fix this problem? This may not be a wm6 issue alone. when i play media player and the timer switches the device off, the song which is currently playing continues to play but after the song is done, it does not play the next song in the list. If I click the power button (AT&T 8525) the next song starts playing. I'd like to know how to play all the songs in the background when the device goes off.

Google Music bug streaming bluetooth

So I have been using and loving Google music and my 5,000 songs on cloud. I have found an irritating bug and am not sure if anyone has the same problem.
I have a head unit in my vehicle that is capable of streaming media via Bluetooth. Anytime I end a call Google music turns back on even after closing it. I have X it out in the notification slide down menu. I even went into running apps and force closed it. Keep in mind before I make the phone call Google music is not on, not in the notification bar and not in recently opened apps. And magically call ends on Bluetooth, and phone restarts Google music and starts playing in my car!
I don't think this happens if I I use google music with my headphones.

Well it really depends on the system in your car. Most systems I have dealt with (Ford sync, Toyota, Chrysler) automatically resume whatever song is playing if connected for Bluetooth audio. If you do not want audio playing through the phone you can just pause it using a command on the steering wheel or on the radio itself.

Yes it is supposed to resume whatever song is playing. i have ford sync for almost two years now and was using Pandora streaming plenty. If I exit Pandora or let me be even more specific, pause a song before I make a phone call, when I end the call the song stays paused or Pandora stays closed until I tell it otherwise. This is not the case for Google music. I press pause then song continues once call ends. I quit the program before call, song continues, force close before call song continues....Technically there should not be any song playing when I told it to stop in the first place.

[Q] Galaxy S3 bluetooth music track info

Sprint galaxy s3. I am having an issue with the bluetooth displaying track data. I have not found this particular issue listed anywhere.
I have a music device that supports bluetooth audio and displays track data. Iphones/ipad send the track information that displays on the device. The galaxy s3 sends the data and it displays on the device, but only when the track is paused. As soon as it plays, the track info disappears. The control pieces work just fine (skip, rewind etc)
Has anyone else experienced this? Any thoughts?
This has been driving me crazy....
I have a similar issue. Pandora displays all of the correct info, but my music player(Player Pro) just shows no data. All the control work as they should though.

Galaxy S4 [5.1.1 CyanogenMod] "Don't Pause!" Does Not Work With DFX Music Player

[5.1.1 CyanogenMod] "Don't Pause!" does not work with DFX music player
Hello everyone,
I know this is not the first time you read this, however the only solution posted out there did not seem to do the trick for me.
We are all aware that OS interruptions cause music to stop playing on devices, something REALLY annoying because the song plays again once resumed. Even worse, when using DFX music player, the music resumes without the effect that has made DFX music player so popular among audiophiles.
After digging around a little bit, I've found out that the application "Don't Pause" is supposed to solve this problem. Unfortunately it doesn't: after a notification pops up, the DFX music player stops and I am forced to resume it manually. That's not all, the song starts again and the DFX effect is turned off.
I've tried muting notifications, it didn't help out at all.
Is there anything I can do to avoid music from stopping when receiveing a notification?
Thanks!

Now Playing

Is anyone else having an issue getting this to work? I have it enabled but it's not showing in anything on the ambient screen or when the phones unlocked. Tried playing popular songs off Spotify.

Doesn't seem to work if it's the phone playing the music. Needs to be external. Works great when playing music in my truck

i dont even show the option to turn it on. I know its in sound>advanced underneath emergency broadcast. But not there
works for me... but it's slow to respond. from one song to another i noticed it took about half the new song before the old song disappeared and the new song reappeared on the screen
i've disabled this feature. for (paranoid) me, the security concerns of an always listening mic combined with the lackluster response of the feature itself, and the fact that i can use soundhound to determine the songs i want to know (which isn't every single song that is playing) make it not a worth while feature to utilize. it's nifty, but not worthwhile imho.
works fine for me.
here is some explanation about how it works...

Works OK for me, but it takes at least 30 seconds to recognize songs. I was playing the music on a different device.
