Nice. Different then the initial lineage build I had posted? Oh I haven't seen it is nougat.

I also noticed that the buttons on screen are activated by default and root for apps is not available in developer settings, only for ADB.

Bluetooth audio isn't working it connects but there's no sound coining from the BT speaker.

There's something wrong with mixer paths in this rom. When you disable fluence (echo suppression) for voice calls, setting in build.prop "persist.audio.fluence.voicecall=false", the upper mic remains active and the lower (the main mic) is muted. That's the exact inverse of what it shoud happen (the main mic should remain active and the secondary mic near the IRDA port should be muted). Can you investigate?
(in stock rom and derivates, that setting has simply no effect: echo suppression remains active whatever way the value is set).
Frankly speaking, this is the first rom for this device I'm really fond of. No bloatware, everything working as it should, safetynet passes with magisk seamlessly, NFC is working, etc.

I saw the commit, but the mixer_paths_tasha.xml file is already modified according to that commit in his latest release, and it doesn't work anyway.....

The 4.16 firmware was giving GPS issues so I reverted to 4.06

Are you sure that you applied the latest changes? At me all records correctly (at least correctly it is recording audio in a Recorder, Telegram, Snap camera and a Skype at full disable of noise suppression).

With the 4.16 firmware GPS was continually scanning and wouldn't lock on to my location. But when I changed it back to the older 4.06 firmware GPS works just fine. Just wondering if I was the only one having issues is all.

The issue I found is related to regular voice calls. The microphone is fully working in all the other apps i tested, can confirm.
When you disable fluence (echo suppression), the expected behaviour is that the upper microphone stays muted and the lower (the main) should be the only one working.
Using your latest build (without yesterday's commits), only the upper microphone is working during calls (it should be reversed). Applying your commits, either the upper either the lower microphone are working even if fluence is disabled for voice calls.
You can check that behaviour making a call to a friend (with fluence disabled in build.prop), and puffing or blowing alternatively in one mic and the other. You'll notice that with your current build only the upper mic is active, and applying the commits both mics are active. This is not the expected behaviour.

No problem for me. GPS is working just fine with 4.16 firmware....

Hi, the rom is perfect and i love it very much, very great work. However, may i know is there any way to increase the volume when answering the call? not on speaker, but it is very hard to hear what ppl said on street, do not mention in the workshop. any solution?
as for gps issue, i noticed that when i was at the outside, it was fine. but sometimes it will drop until lost gps when i get into car.

DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)

A. Make sure you have the correct drivers installed.
Try this: open device manager:
find the RNDIS (thats what it was called for me), or some other device similar to that name, with a probably yellow !
right click: uninstall drivers (and tick delete drivers)
restart usb tethering
then you have an "unknown device", right click
install driver
search on pc
select from list
search for LG Electronics as manufacturer
and then on right side select "LGE AndroidNet Remote NDIS Device"

My God, that was fast. It even looks to be usable daily, so long as you don't need an SD card (and keep the phone on).

Thanks, will try that one. Already had it working once, then took it out again to just check if it was causing issues or not, and then imported it again, and suddenly its causing a weird behaviour
Setupwizard takes ages to load, its checking the sdcard forever, Launcher takes ages to load too, and after a few minutes the system crashes... Same happens with the sdfat driver lol
On stock and TWRP it works fine though (TWRP uses the same driver as i tried btw...).

Literally the 1 thing stopping me from installing this right now is the camera. Gcamera is great but doesn't support 4k video on this device nor does it support laser focus or duel lenses (although the ported version of gcamera have a separate app for each camera). Please can you port the LG Camera over. Also does the QuadDAC work on this?

Yep, not shipped with gapps. From my last stand of knowledge (like years ago lol) its not even allowed to ship gapps with ROMs.

tbh, i think i havent tested this yet. I focused more on finding out what the **** causes the bootissues.... (trying to figure that out since easter...)
Thats like searching a needle in a haystack (as the logs dont contain anything helpfull when it happens... and no ramoops either ;-; )

Ehhm... Depends on how much the LG Cam depends of the LG Framework? But i suppose thats a lot, would be really really difficult (involving lots of reverse engineering then probably) and would take ages. Doubt LG wants to make our lives easy lol

So... Just got a report from my tester.
10 consecutive (re)boots without a problem. Will release a version soon with this fixed
Had to disable sdcardfs (ro.sys.sdcardfs=0). Maybe i can find a commit somewhere that fixes whatever LG ****ed up there (I suppose their stock framework/kernel source has a modified version, that doesnt work well with AOSP based ROMs...)

Slow motion profiles have not yet been applied. I will add in the next build.

Will there be a treble version anywhen?
I am happy with treble but what drives me nuts is there is no 100% working camera and what about arcore our device got a neural network cpu or i am wrong?

Google photos takes forever to upload my photos, even enabled to use mobile data to upload.

auto-brightness is crazy (disabled it). Slo motion works on freedcam, after editing media_profiles snapcamera hdr started shooting slomo. Stock camera works ([email protected] and [email protected] don't work) Gcam doesn't work (I have no wish to find the reason) Rolled back to beta oreo.
Stock cam dng crashes sometimes while switching 12/23 mp, portrait bokeh doesn't work.

Up Now I found that the automatic brightness and display color are not so good, Bluetooth is not currently until the discovery of these.

Yes, the automatic brightness is not very good at the beginning, and the color and automatic brightness are comfortable after a few days.

Very good, thank you for bringing in new updates, but I have one thing I have to tell you, my Z17 was broken by me. The reason is that I want to change the battery, but it is so difficult to open, the screen is broken, I am sorry I can't test the update, please forgive me. (from Google Translate)

I respect your business, but I think there are some things that need to be done. The device of the same feature is much better than nubia in terms of custom rom.

Nice job! I was following this @ 4pda since day one.

There is a serious issue with the last 2 builds on the swift 2x. The screen keeps going off and the device locks itself . Not sure what the problem is. The first build doesnt have that issue tho.

Finnaly have a time to check it.
And what can i say: you using Treble kernel and treble repartition. Its not bad, but LOS kernel have a huge part of updates and highly recommended to useage

Thank you for you work. I just tried the new update (the one with OTA) and the problem is solved. That ROM is really stable. I am facing the same bugs you mentioned in OP so nothing unusual. Waiting for the fixes.

Bugs:
- Fingerprint not working with 3d party apps like banking apps (Probably because of SeLinux?)
-Sometimes I got a message of 'Process System is not responding'. Not a big deal tho.
-Casting to a wireless display is not working ( It causes a system UI crash)
-Two camera apps, the lineage os one and the AOSP one.
-FM radio not working
Note: these are the same bugs that I face with gsi ROMs (except for the two cameras and process system)
Everything else (which means almost everything) is working fine. Great job guys!

would you guys say this rom is at a state where i can use it as a daily driver?

It's fine as a daily driver as long as you don't use FM radio. I am using it right now, it is very stable and it offers better battery life than project treble GSIs do.
Also I'd like to report that LiveDisplay isn't working for me on the Swift 2 Plus

Is this a different build than the one Nikith90 provided?

Two questions:
1. Is there any simpler and less intrusive ways to get root than Magisk? SuperSU is not an option.
2. When can we foresee a working webview?

I noticed today after upgrading to this version from CRdroid 8.1 (I did a dirty flash of the OS and GAPPS 9, not noticed any other problems so far) when you get the prompt to connect to a WiFi hotspot which requires you to accept terms (in webview) I only get a blank page. I am using Opera as my browser, but it shouldn't be related.
Other suggestions: Can one have the battery icon as a circle? That, and automatic log on when correct PIN is entered would be nice. I miss those features (and a few others) from CRdroid.

If not then download & flash latest pie stable firmware first from here PIE_20190401_firmware.zip ( Thanks to @Subinsmani )
Installation:
Download & Place ROM & Gapps in your internal storage/virtual SD
Boot into TWRP
Wipe System, Data, Dalvik, Cache.
Flash the latest Firmware if you were not in it yet.

Reporting bugs:
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred (please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing).
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg (do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot, a logcat after a reboot is useless).
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log (only applies to SELinux enforcing builds).
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

I personally dont like bloated rom so im not try it, but compared to Official Oreo this seems to have same stability level. Sound with speaker is good, with headphone is acceptable but not great. Sadly i dont have any OTG to test. And google camera (GCam_6.2.024_N7P_test1.1) working greats! Photo sample from google camera & Battery performance attached below.

wow, i thought the developers have already forgotten the Z5. I keep my fingers crossed to fix the errors. When wifi is fixed I will gladly test this rom. Good job

WiFi is all fine, it's just screen cast is broken.

I have a single variant of Z5, so i can't give you the answer for now.
But it "Should be" working with your dual sim variant, grab me logcats if it's not.

I got a z5 last week and I'm glad to hear good news. I got a lot of help when I was using Zenfone 5z. Thank you for your work

I just tried flashing it. the device entered a bootloop and I didn't know how to get a logcat during it.

backup working os via TWRP
flash this rom
reboot and wait a while or until kernel panic
press power+volume_up until vibration
hold power button
press power_down immediately after vibration
release all buttons
in TWRP go to advanced/terminal
copy the content (if any) of /sys/fs/pstore to /sdcard
restore working os
copy the files from /sdcard (see the step above) to somewhere and analyse them
