I have Lenovo vibe p1a42 mobile and it has marshmallow 6.0.1 OS is installed. I want to install custom rom in my mobile. so for that I have unlocked bootloader.
Bootloader successfully unlocked.
Now I am trying to install twrp recovery. but I couldn't. I am getting this error please check link : http://prntscr.com/ho7fow

I tried kingroot, kingoroot but they won't work
you can root your android one marshmallow without the computer if you have a custom recovery installed in your device then all you need to do is install a custom kernel (zues or thunderzap) after than you need flash supersu for marshmallow thats it
Android m didn't support direct root.... u r have custom recovery then flash super su.zip or root via android one toolkit

hi friends, im trying to update this mobile to android 6.0.1 from stock rom current on .96 , I already unlocked the bootloader and rooted with twrp had various problems , but finally I managed to install the dual recovery but this version has v2.6.3.0 , I have tried to install v2.8.7.0 with terminal and adb shell, dd method with no success, the version doesnt change , I dont know what to do anymore, help

please close this, I followed the steps to make the repartition to install Marshmellow and worked, so I finally have my twrp updated.
presently i am using Rdminote 3 (Kenzo).i officially unlocked my boot loader .I am using ZCX TWRP.
Recently i install Lineage Rom and i rooted my mobile with new su zip v2.82.
Now i got linage os update .
how to install ? no threads gives me exact answer.
i am rooted my mobile. Is it works for me ?
please explain . I am new to custom ROMS.

Built in updater. Settings - about phone - lineageos updates.
Should do the work automatically after a few taps. Maybe you should use official twrp. Root not necessary, but I prefer addonsu.

I have installed LineageOS succesfully on my Lenovo P2.
But it is not rooted yet so I tried to Install Magisk using TWRP.
But I can't install it, I get the error code 1.
