LG G3 doesn't properly boot (turns off suddently) - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone.
My phone started having some issues.
When I try to turn it on, sometimes it starts booting, just for turning off a little later (it never went over the LG screen).
I don't even manage to open the recovery (I am using Fulmics ROM), even if the white screen appears sometimes.
If I remove the battery and charge it, the icon of "no battery" appears as long as it is charged.
I tried using another battery, but I experienced the same issues.
Does anybody have any ideas?
Many thanks!

[Q] Phone won't boot after battey depletion

I am having troubles booting my phone after the battery depletes and the phone shuts off. My Optimus G is rooted with lifeless Rom v14 and I have TWRP recovery.
So once the phone dies, I plug it in to charge, and the phone screen automaticaly comes on and the LG logo flashes for a second, but nothing happens. The phone doesn't actually charge. If I remove the phone from the charger, the display still stays on until I hard reset it. I cannot access recovery mode or download mode for some reason. Usually when my phone dies, and I plug it in, it will flash the LG logo, keep the display on for a few seconds, and then shut down and restart and show the battery logo charging. I am not getting that this time, and I can't seem to do anything to get it operating again. There also isn't a red LED light to represent charging either. If anyone has had this issue before or knows how to fix it, I'd really appreciate the information right now.
Thanks

That actually just happened to me too
All I did was unplug the phone, hold the power button until the screen turns off, and power up the phone. I do think the phone may need to plugged in for a bit after it does before it will boot. Hope you find a solution.

I had to use LGNPST and teenybin to get anywhere. I got the program all setup and after trial and error, I fixed the problem, only to be found with another problem. Now my phone doesn't seem to want to charge. It will go to the charging screen and everything, but the red pulsing LED isn't on like it used to be, and it doesn't seem like it really is charging. on TWRP, the battery percentage doesn't even show, except until recently it started showing, and then it disapears because it has no power. Any help?!

LG G3 stuck again!

So it's the second time my G3 gets stuck and won't come back to life. 6-7 months ago it was stuck onto the firmware update screen (thou I never messed with rooting and stuff) and I had to send it back to LG Italy since it was still under warranty. They just wiped everything off, replaced something and sent it back to me.
Today's problem: Phone was off this morning and when I tried to turn it on it seemed like battery was dead. Charged it and turned it on after a while, got into home screen and a weird message about whatsapp loading issue because my phone time wasn't correct. On top of that the phone was totally frozen and didn't respond to any imput, so I had to remove the battery and put it back in. From now on, the phone is stuck on logo screen. Tried to put it in download mode, I see the firmware update screen but my computer won't recognize my phone via pc suite. Recovery mode won't even start. Tried to turn it off and just plug it into my wall charger: the empty battery icon with the loading symbol pops up and everything seems to be stuck, even if I unplug it the icon would still be there. I tried with two different batteries getting the same result
Totally clueless about what to do now (the phone is still under warranty by the way).

LG3 wont boot + Blue screen

Hello, i faced a serious problem this evening, just after i finished a call phone, the screen of the phone went Blue and then it went off, i started to put it on again and then it showed the screen with LG and then it went black no boot at all. i removed the battery and i tried again and still the same, so i tried to remove the battery and put it again and plug it with the computer, it went on with charging battery and then suddenly went to blue screen again.
So i tried to put the recovery mode with power down and on/off and it worked i got the recovery mode screen with factory reset but it was only with factory reset, i tried it and then i put yes and it reboot and then after LG screen, it went black again....
so i tried to put download mode with usb cable but it wont, always i got the blue screen. what should i do, where is the problem exactly for people who had the same problem ? the batterye ? the motherboard ?
anyone to help ? i changed the battery and it wasnt coming from it, and the phone showed others anormalies like sometimes u can charge the battery and you see the % and sometimes it goes blue screen and shut down. anyone had the same issue before ?
My LG G3 randomly started giving this problem for 3-4 days till it went completely bad. It just wouldn't get past the Blue Screen. Since I had to take a backup before taking any further action, I have been able to get it up and running for very short durations by keeping the cell phone in the freezer for an hour or so. Yes. I am not kidding. After it freezes, I can get it up on about 5th or 6th attempt. Sometimes even more. Be mindful that the battery is now showing a red humidity marker due to the freezer.
I am thinking of asking LG to repair it. What a piece of crap. Its only 18 months old for me.

LG G4 first freezed, then got stuck booting and now does not do anything at all

Hi,
I have a 4 year old LG G4 with stock ROM and it was working perfectly until yesterday. I charged it in my car and at about 45% I plugged it off. Google Maps was running but frozen and the phone did not react to anything anymore. So I removed the battery and started it again. After booting it was frozen again (showing the home screen). Then I removed the battery, tried it again but this time it got stuck after the "bootloader unlocked" screen. Same procedure again, this time nothing happens at all. The screen is black, no vibration, nothing.
Also charging the phone does not work. It is not reacting to anything. Also tried removing the battery for a few hours and then tried it again. It seems like it died (but I have no idea why)
What else could I try? How can I find out what is broken?
If the phone is really broken now and it is not worth repairing it: How can I access the data on my external storage? It is encrypted with the default android encryption and as far as I know the key is stored on the internal storage.
Any help would be appreciated!
Best,
Simon

Cool, thanks!
But it seems that this is only working if my phone is at least turning on and I am able to boot the recovery mode. My phone is not doing anything anymore. No vibration, no logo, nothing. I think something in the processor died

LG G710N Won't Turn On(black screen), unless battery is completely died

Hi Guys, hope you are well.
Recently I just brought a LG G710N with 6g+128g.
It was stuck in the boot loop with LG logo, after the battery completely drained. It boots to the system.
Yes I can go to download mode or recovery, so I tried to install the newest g710n KDZ with LG UP.
It did work, but if I charged the phone with all charger or wireless charger. The phone will go completely black screen once it passed 30% battery. btw once it's blacked, every single button does not work, no matter reboot or download mode, it does not show up, only thing i get is completely black.
Until the battery is drained again, the 0% logo will disappear and then I can charge it. But once it pass 30% the phone will go black screen again.
So right now, Im not sure if its the software problem or some hardware issues.
If it's hardware issues, during the using time (when battery was around 20%) the phone was fine and can open every apps.
If it's software issues, how can i solve this weird problem.
Thanks
Regards.
