I dont know. Sorry
1. Download Xposed Framework installer via Magisk and install
2. Move Xposed Framework installer from root/data/app to root/system/app and give all permissions, reboot device
3. use installer to install framework via recovery , reboot starts. Dont`t panic reboot will take more than five minutes
4. you`re done

Hi All.
Apologies if this is in the wrong forum, I am unable to post to the development board due to lack of posts.
I was wondering if anyone has installed the Xposed framework on the International HTC One M8 yet? I know this requires root, and a method for obtaining root has been laid out on this forum
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2694564
but some of the posts state that installation of Xposed when using this root method has not been possible due to the /system folder still being write protected.
It seems others have had some success in installing the Xposed framework when using this method (WeakSauce)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/sho...mctr=(not provided)&__utmv=-&__utmk=139157680
but this method does not work on international versions, only Verizon.
Basically I want to install Xposed in as simple a way as possible, with the end goal being to install the Immerse Me module so as all apps will run in immersive mode.
Any help/info would be very much appreciated.
Cheers.
I have it installed and working. You have to install it as a zip thru twrp.
In for an answer to this. I need Xposed before I can root with Weaksauce.

Sorry, what do you need to install as a zip through twrp?
My understanding of the method is
1) flash twrp
2) install the root.zip through twrp.
3) install SuperSu from play store
4) install Xposed installer from play store
5) install framework through xposed app
Did you get the xposed framework installed a different way?
I'm on ATT but I had to flash the xposed installer in recovery. It wouldn't install any other way

If u go into the xposed installer》framework》installation mode and choose recovery (write zip to sd card, flash manually). Then go into recovery (twrp) and install the file u just created it works fine.

Great. Worked perfectly. You were right, manual install was what was needed.
Are you finding the immersive mode stable? For me the black bar sometimes "sticks" after making it appear

Step 1:
Root your phone.
Step 2:
Install TWRP.
Step 3:
Do a Full Backup.
Step 4:
Install Xposed framework.
1. I'm rooted
2. I'm trying to install TWRP with the TWRP manager app but cannot seem to install it I selected the latest 2.87 and iv also trie 2.8.6 none will install it says successful and I reboot go back into TWRP manage but it says custom recovery not installed or not detected
It may be worth re-rooting & re-attempting to flash twrp from scratch...
1. re root with http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/guide-root-lg-firmwares-kitkat-lollipop-t3056951
2. install twrp: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/apk-flash-twrp-autorec-thanks-to-t3081396
hopefully this helps

This is the official thread for the xposed framework http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811.
Here's how to chose the correct framework (xx refers to numbers)
vxx - refers to the version of the Xposed Framework (typically newer is better)
sdkxx - refers to the android version. sdk21 would be android 5.0.x / sdk22 would be android 5.1.x / sdk23 would be android 6.0.x
arm/arm64/x86 - refers to the device processor's architecture. The LG G3's processor uses an arm based architecture.
So the correct version of xposed framework to install for a LG G3 on android 5.0 would be xposed-v79-sdk21-arm.zip
ok iv just flashed that xposedc framework now in recovery and i will let you know what happens when my phone has finished optimising the apps
ok so xposed framework seems to have install ok it now says xposed framework version 79 is active
but when i go into tweaksbox i get an error message saying
the module is not enabled ( which it is in xposed modules section as iv checked) or the xposed framework is missing blah blah blah
how do i fix this please

Hello
Test uninstalling apps, performs a wipe dalvic / cache and re-installing the apps:
This is the thread for tweaksbox: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=53618487&postcount=3
My recommendation is that if you're in a stock rom do not use the beta version of tweaksbox. If you are running a rom based stock as Fulmic, you can use the beta version of tweaksbox.
AnyBody got installed exposed on RAZER with Oreo 8.1.0 or whatever?

Try flashing the uninstaller through Xposed, then once it reboots install sdk27beta3 through Xposed then reboot again.

Hey everyone, i got a new j6+ (sm-j610f) running 8.1 oreo. I rooted it via magisk patched boot.img method , also removed all the bloatware. I want ro install xposed framework but this device doesn't have a compatible twrp/cwm recovery yet, i tried using flashfire but it's not working. I'm not sure if the app isn't compatible with oreo or magisk, i granted it superuser permission but it's stuck on acquiring root access. Is there a fix for this problem, if not is there an alternative for flashfire?!

Magisk already has Xposed support. No need to install the framework separately.
Just type Xposed in the download section and install the SDK 27 version.

Are you sure you have the latest version of Magisk installed?
Also save and post the log after install.

Look, here's how i got this phone rooted, downloaded magisk manager, patched the boot.img and flashed through odin, restored phone to factory settings bcz i was stuck with integrity verification failed and there was no way to flash dm verify disabler since there is no custom recoveries for j6+ yet. After that phone booted and magisk was installed. Haven't touched any settings nor hidden any things, and there's this message i keep getting whenever i open magisk. Each time i open magisk it popups, even if i press yes it will appear the next time open magisk.
This is the log i get after installing the additional setup

This commonly happens whe u don't have the latest MAGISK installed NOT MAGISK MANAGER.
Before I go back to 9.0.0, i figured i would ask....
Anyone get Viper4Android to install properly on Q?
I tried the latest Viper Magisk Module v1.4.2 i think... Magisk completed the installation but after reboot, Viper is requiring Drivers to be installed. So i install the Drivers, which took longer then normal, reboot and BAM! Viper needs to install Drivers on your device.
So Q doesnt seem to wanna play well with the Viper drivers.
And i tried installing Busybox for ****s and giggles and install fails in Magisk....
Thanks in advance for any assistance and/or **** head comments,
T

Try using this viper apk, it generates a magisk module when you reboot the phone. In the latest update post, OP says:
The compatibility mode switch has been added back. This seems to be mandatory for car mode and some android q builds.
