[Q] Problem with Htc desire

So my friend started to root phone over pc and his battery was low and phone shut down so now when he starts phone it just stops at htc boot screen i know that he has to flash new rom but
1st i don't know what software to use for htc and
2nd i don't know where can i find stock rom
i have G3 and it is easy to flash with odin but can you pls help for this HTC

thanks man i found all roms but what software do you use to flash rom to htc desire ?
guys all rom ask for root i need stock rom and some tut how to flash it

after rooting it is not necessary to flash a rom, it is necessary if you want to flash custom rom and to install some apps which need root access.
charge fully and try rebooting the mobile & see. check here for your respective rom.

[Q] RUU needed for htc one x 2.17.728.3

Hello everyone,
ON due course when I was trying to install cm 10 on my device, I managed to make it stuck on the htc logo. Now I only want to get my device back on and would be glad if i can even get it back to factory setting. I tried to search for the RUU for my phone but just can't seem to find it anywhere.
I am with Virgin mobile australia and the image version of my phone is 2.17.728.3. I am new at this so if anyone could please help me out, I would be very grateful.

probably you got stock on the htc logo because you didn't flash boot.img of the rom

how do i flash boot.img on the phone now?

open the rom .zip and extract the boot.img and then type:
Code:
fastboot flash boot path/to/boot.img

[Q] Help - Flash Back To Stock Australia

I have the Australian single sim desire 816 and cannot manage to boot into recovery nor regular OS can anyone help me fix this or possibly provide an RUU? I need this phone back up and running before I go away at the end of this week so any help is appreciated.

Reinstall stock rom
Hi everybody!
I'm not sure if I had selected right place to publish my question, but... I hope so
I have some problems with my HTC Wildfire (A3333) and I want to reinstall stock ROM : android froyo 2.2.1.
I have little (better to say no) experience with installing /reinstalling android software, so I don't know what to do. I tried to use some manuals online, but that didn't bring any success to me :-/
I hope somebody will mention my post, so please would you be so kind and tell me what to do?

Hello.. the first thing you have to do that check your security is On or Of If your security is of so you able to flash stock back if your security is on so you have to unlock the bootloader after that you have to find the right model ruu file for htc to restore it.... and that's all :good:

Help with updating in lollipop(HTC Desire 820 Dual sim,Unlocked and rooted)

Recently, an update(OTA_A51_DTUL_L50_DESIRE_SENSE60_MR_hTC_Asia_India_2.10.720.4-2.10.720.1_R_release_459001) came for my device(HTC Desire 820 Dual Sim) running Lollipop 5.0.2.
Since it is unlocked, I tried replacing the recovery.img with the recovery image found within the OTA zip, but I am getting the red exclamation error. (I followed the tutorial at http://forum.xda-developers.com/des...p-recovery-t3220950/post63235479#post63235479).
This actually worked when I updated from Kitkat to Lollipop, but now :crying:
I really need some help regarding this.
PS- If everything else fails,can someone backup their OS after installing the latest update and upload. That would be awesome. I would be very thankful :good:
