Huawei P6 "Black screen" - "No USB Debugging" - Huawei Ascend P6, Mate

I have a Huawei P6 with an unresponsive black screen (following a very nasty drop), and I need to recover some contacts.
The problem is that I didn't have USB Debugging turned on so now I can't find a program to restore my contacts.
I tried to root it with several root tools but no luck (I found some progs like RootGenius that seem to work with recovery mode).
I even tried with adb commands again with no luck.
Can anyone please help me??

[Q] debugging mode broken? please help

Does NOT show up in either fastboot or andriod 4.2.2 with debugging enabled, not in 'computer' or 'device manager'.
The only way I can get any confirmation it exists is in wug's nexus root toolkit if I put the phone in fastboot and do adv-list devices it will show the phones serial number and 'fastboot' as mode.
The phone itself seems to work fine except enabling/disabling debugging has no effect on it being recognized, thus the only option i'm able to do is 'flash stock + unroot' which went through fine, but again had no effect.
I've tried all drivers from gnex toolkit and wugs, 'device manager' will show adb drivers with no conflict, but still wont show the actual phone.
Done all steps many times, spent 14+ hours on this over 2 days, no clue what to do now. please help me

G4 no fastboot and recovery mode

Hello,
today I have a problem with my g4. When I first got this phone 2 years ago I instantly unlocked bootloader, installed supersu, xposed etc and I had no problems at all with this.
But couple weeks ago somethings happened to my snapchat so today I tried to unroot to login to my account on sc. Then i checked that I have to uninstall xposed framework too, but to do this from xposed installer app, root is needed. I thought "no problem, I will install root briefly, uninstall xposed, unroot and login to snapchat". Then I met first obstacle. I don't have recovery mode in phone. when I connect g4 by usb to pc and use adb (by typing adb reboot recovery) my phone reboots and shows green dead android with red triangle. I have to remove the battery to get phone back to life. I remembered that i always used fastboot commands to boot into custom recovery instead of installing TWRP, because flashing it never worked. But now when I try to execute any fastboot command, it only shows me "waiting for any device" in cmd. what do I have to do now? all essential drivers are installed on my pc. phone is showed as "LGE Mobile adb interface" in device manager. when I enter "adb reboot fastboot" it only reboots my phone and nothing else. Does anybody know a solution? I wouldn't like to wipe my g4 from all data. I have read many pages on google and nothing helps. I've tried fastboot on 2 different computers, one with usb 3.0 and one with 2.0 and results are the same. If someone could help me, thanks in advance.

Tried with another cable and nothing changes.
I tried to do this method you sent. So when I enter download mode it goes into "firmware update" after couple of seconds, my phone isn't detected on pc and the first command in console "Send_Command.exe \\.\COMx" returns "FAIL".
My G4 (H815) is stock rom, bootloader unlocked normally, didn't do any usu or anything like this. I have only rooted it with supersu 2 times (one time maybe a 1,5year ago i log out from snapchat and had to unroot and root again), installed xposed framework and did nothing else. I don't know how is it possible that I used fastboot on this phone then and now I can't do it. Half a year ago I've installed custom rom on friend's G2 and installed some programs etc. on my pc (because installing this rom didn't went that well and I had to flash stock .kdz or something like that through LGUP/LG bridge/lg flash tool, I don't remember) and I thought that it did some mess but when I tried to use fastboot on another PC, where I've installed drivers freshly, the result was the same.
So what is about "firmware update"? It is obviously stuck on 0% and I have to remove the battery to leave this mode.

Try installing "adb universal drivers".
Also in your computer device manager, with the phone connected, uninstall the device, adb device, modem everything related with the phone. Reinstall and try it after install the universal drivers.
Hope it works, good luck!

Uninstalled everything lg-related from device manager, uninstalled everything lg/android-related through revo uninstaller, installed adb universal drivers, lg usb drivers, everything seems fine, when I type "adb devices" in cmd it shows my phone but, again, when I enter something related to fastboot, it only shows <waiting for any device>.
Is it even possible?? I have not seen any cases like mine in internet - somebody's phone every time was else bricked or somebody would try to flash something and errors like that happened, but I have used fastboot many times on G4 and G2, didn't reinstall windows and everything worked! Why I can't access recovery mode (dead android with red triangle) or enter fastboot or do something in download mode? What could happened?! Is it possible to fix this without wiping data from my G4? I haven't done factory reset for very long time and copying tens of thousands of photos and videos, quickmemo notes, music, voice recordings, chrome bookmarks and everything else to my PC would be a big pain for me.
After all, thanks for replies, and I hope that we will find solution for this.

<waiting for any device> because if windows don't recognizes the device as it should adb will never "see" it.
While on the process, pay attention to the device manager. When you get the message in cmd of <waiting for any device>, uninstall your device and make device manager search for devices.
If still shows you as the same device and adb still waiting, you might have to uninstall the device and install it manually choosing from a list. Now I don't remember how it is suppose to be detected...
During install and uninstall don't disconnect the device from the computer, and remember, use a USB2 port.
I already got that several time. Took me time but that's how I managed to fix it.
okay, guys, it is a shame for me... but I worked out what is wrong with my phone.. maybe not with my phone, but what is wrong with me.
all I needed to do to launch a fastboot was type "adb reboot bootloader" and everything is fine now.
Sorry that you had to give me so much tips and this problem turned to be my stupid mistake, but I'm glad that i won't have to install linux and play with virtual machines to repair my phone
Anyway, thanks for your kindness and will to help, greetings for everyone!
@edit: Turns out that i have one more question. I want to uninstall xposed framework. But there are many versions of uninstaller on their site. Is there any risk that i will "break" my G4 if I use the newest one? I have xposed version 87 and I don't want to do something stupid. thanks in advance.
somebody knows? if I can use the newest version of uninstaller no matter which version of xposed framework im using?

OP3 with completly broken screen, any way to access?

Hey Guys!
The screen of my OP3 broke a while back and since then I hadn't got the time to fix it - well until a few days ago - and I can't seem to access it via adb. The phone is rooted so USB-Debugging is enabled but if I try to find it through '''adb devices''' nothing pops up, albeit windows "sees" the phone (the CD-Rom Driver is showing up in the File Explorer). ADB is installed and works with other phones (Tried it with an LG G3 & Huawei Ascend G7)
Stuff I tried:
Reinstalling ADB => Still can't find the device
Unplugged , replugged the battery & start the phone > just gets me into the lock screen (i assume: LED Indicator is green, an Alert slider is working, captive buttons are working, can take a pic with VOLUME DOWN & POWER,...)
Tried Vysor > cannot see device
Installing OP3 Drivers from the phone => Stuck at the end
The Screen is completely black so I can't really see anything But all other buttons are working.
If someone has a fix, please post - thanks. I just wanna get my photos back

Your drivers seem to be the issue. Delete all the drivers for mobile, Android etc devices and then install OP3 drivers alone. If necessary use USBDview on PC/laptop to view the drivers and to delete. If adb starts working, you can simply use 'adb pull /sdcard' to copy all the photos and files.

So I tried to uninstall everything related to my phone and tried to reinstall the oneplus drivers (i tried the ones on the phone and the ones online). Long story short: The install was unsuccessful & the install stayed stuck (Execute the commands...) in that state.
Weirdly, my OP3 seems to show up as an MTP USB device in the Device Manager......
I think the OP drivers are just broken.... I'll try them on a 32bit computer if i find one.
Any other ideas? ADB is up to date & Android studio too.
Cheers

Well, if it shows up as MTP, open your phone's contents on a browser and copy/paste files.
Otherwise, I think that it is Windows that is having an issue. Try reinstalling Windows or try on another PC/laptop, if possible. Not every driver file on the phone/internet can be corrupt. For what it is worth, I am attaching my OP3 drivers. You can try them if you want to.

Issues recovering data [adb] & not showing in 'This PC'

Hello, my Oneplus 3 finally met its maker when it slid off my knee as I was doing a poo. This phone had served me well for a long time and was used for the last year without a functioning power button.
Today I was trying to extract my data from the phone using adb. However, I have a few issues.
The screen is fully black and shattered and digitizer appears to also be broken.
I can use the fingerprint sensor, but not much else. If I try to apply pressure to the screen, the device disconnects from the computer then reconnects.
My phone will not show in 'My PC' and just shows as 'android' under 'USB devices' in Device Manager, I try to update the driver through this and I am just assigning it to be an 'ADB device' or 'Oneplus Android ADB Interface' which does not help.
I have downloaded the Oneplus USB drivers and installed them which did not help or allow me to select those as driver updates in 'device manager'. Even after turning off signed driver checks in boot options.
I believe I have USB debugging on, as I turned it on not long ago due to the power button failing. But when I attempt to use ADB I either get 'unauthorised' or 'offline' beside my devices serial number.
I have tried unlocking my device with my fingerprint and it has the response vibration but does not allow me to access it.
Ideally I would like it to work with '[email protected]' and 'android control' but I would settle for just being able to pull everything off the device. I have been reading threads and trying fixes all day to no avail. Please help me.

If you had used adb before and the phone was recognised earlier, then there shouldn't be an issue. If not, then when issuing adb commands, there will be a popup on the phone asking you to enable authorisation and to make it permanent. In your current scenario, you will not be able to grant authorisation. Your drivers might be installed properly but because of this "authorisation" issue, the phone might not be recognised properly.
Search for methods to pull data from the phone. I had read about a couple of methods where you can mirror your screen on the PC which will solve the problem for you. Unfortunately I am not able to recollect where I read that.
EDIT: Enter fastboot mode on your phone and connect it to the PC. Then using 'fastboot boot twrp.img' you can boot into TWRP on the phone and access the files and copy them using adb commands. This requires the TWRP in the same folder as your adb tools or vice versa and renaming the file as TWRP. I don't know whether this also requires 'authorisation' but try it any way.

A70 broken and black screen

Hi,
i have a SM-A705FN/DS bumped in a corner with screen broken and black (doesnt turn on). I need to recover data from it but it doesnt have developer options enabled. My problem isnt black screen of death... its broken at all!
I had spent the entire day searching for posts to enable debbuging options through adb commands but... nothing. Also i tried with odin and one clockmodwork recovery but ever fails.
I can enter the recovery mode and i think that entering the second option (bootloader) i will do something, because my laptop is detecting a "Samsung usb modem" but adb command "adb devices" doesnt show anything.
What can I do?
Thanks in advance. Best regards.

Hi,
my house insurance will repair the screen and they told me that it will be erase. At the moment, I just replaced screen for older mobiles (iphones 4, sony, ...) and never, NEVER, got files lost. But now...
I am trying to find a rom with "usb debugging" enabled in order to connect the phone to my computer with adb commands. I had tried to connect with otg hdmi but nothing is showing up on my tv (my P20Pro is showing perfectly).
What can i do?
Thanks in advance.

Thats a very wiers situation but i have an idea
Have you ever used or setted the link to windows option up?
Cause with that you can start sharing the screen to pc and it just works when u already used that before ur screen broke
Otherwise i have no advice for the adb as i never needed to use adb for recovering my data
Good Luck
Hello, I have the same problem. My screen is blank but hearing notifications on my phone. As phone is under warranty, they might replace the unit and I would want to recover my data.
Also searching on how to enable usb debugging via ADB, but not sure if below (Option 2) will work. Still gonna try it on weekend on my freetime.
