EMUI 5.0 BETA (Android 7.0) is out today (11/25/2016) for China

So the Beta testing program for EMUI 5.0 started in China. For now you can just register and will get the first build on the 29th.

not the phone (i do own it and its a pearl)... but EMUI 5.0
Rogers...must say...i feel good talking about them......it took me 2 frikkin hours a their kiosk from start to leave with new phone...about 1 hour of battling with their informatic system with the contract and another hour to do the same damned thing by PHONE...
then ,this week received a poll about the service...and instead of being with blablabla Rogers blabla,it was Fido blablabla on the Rogers page...

The links in the OP show that the beta for the Nova was released, but you had to register and only 200 were chosen. No doubt some people leaked it. But it is only for two of the Nova variants.

Good morning. Can you change the update channel to moto z play? From RETLA1ST to RETEU? No unlock bootloader. I have a motorola Z Play xt 1635-02 update channel RETLA1ST in android 6.0.1 and I would like to move to RETEU which reaches 7.0. Thank you

It's not possible to change software channels.
You can flash Android 7 onto your phone from here

7.1 Nougat

The Moto E4 has been released running Android 7.1 out of the box. Frustrating for probably most of us running 7.0, but this is a good indication that we will get the 7.1 update. Just thought it'd be an interesting tidbit for those who want 7.1.

Lenovo hasn't really been reliable with updates... It took over 6 months to get Nougat on the G4, I wouldn't put it past them to skip straight to 8.0. But this is a good sign... Hopefully I won't have to wipe my phone and go to the unofficial Lineage to get it.

There is just one thing sure - my next phone won't be from LG but probably from Google.

i tought that by now h815 international would have v30. but theres none..

i use month or two this https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/development/h815-nougat-stock-t3659860/amp/ and all working very well.

LG Support said in the third quarter of 2017 that nougat would emerge.
But the third quarter is over. And the G4 still did not get the android 7.
Interesting, android 8 came out. And I do not believe it will come out this month.
Likewise my previous phone lg p725 was supposed to get the android 4 like this, but it stayed in 2.3.6. LG is doing it all the time. There are update droughts in the software.

Actually, LG support said "schedule is based on korea and overseas will be announced seperately" so they never gave a time frame for anything but korea

How you use nougat stock rom than? You send a link.

i install and use rom which is on the link what i posted before. i had a marshmallow before also without root. i unlock bootloader via official lg site, install twrp and then nougat from that thread.

I had a chat yesterday with LG Support they told me that it was google fault has they are the integrating the LG interface unfortunatly I don't know if wath i've been told it's true

J also had the support LG which confirms me that nougat will be spread on G4 but none dates!

But are there any easy to follow guides to install? I've got a h815 from UK, but could never find the right firmware to flash for my model.. My device bootloader is still locked and unrooted...

Hi, I recently bought the Korean version G710N and was wondering is there still no way to install twrp+root? I would be satisfied with root only if it's possible.
