Updated to the 7.1.1 beta today. Are the round icons only appear on Pixel phones. Every article I've read said that was a feature in the beta. I am completely stock and my Icons aren't round. Am I missing something? Love the new camera update and the app shortcuts.
It's pixel launcher's privilege.. I think I saw an apk at Apkmirror yesterday about icons and pixel launcher too.
These should do the job.
I installed latest Pixel launcher apk and latest round icons app
So far the only round icon with white background I'm seeing is the calendar.
Now, regarding pixel launcher...I don't know how to make the swipe option work.

This will work on any rom running xposed!!
Actually if you have CM14.1 running on falcon, try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/general/cm-14-1-pixel-nav-animation-button-moto-t3509255. No XPOSED needed.
Hey guys, is there a way to change the oneplus launcher to look like the pixel launcher? I mean with the search bar down the icons?.
We re on 8.1 and still looks pretty much the same since nougat.
Yes, ruthless pixel launcher or rootless pixel launcher. Google it
Is there any Pie ROM with pixel launcher with option to hide home screen date and weather? Currently I'm on AOSiP 8.1 which has this feature. I really like pixel launcher but I really hate that on most ROM's user is forced to use default date and weather widget. It's the only thing which holds me back to change my Oreo to Pie.
What are the difference between the two and which is better?

Pretty much the same. Both Pixel Experience (PE) and Pixel Experience Extended (PEX) have pure stock android that Google Pixel devices user have it and brings all pixel goodies like launcher, icon, system apps, font, and animation as well.
PEX is build on top of official PE which came with a lot of AOSP customization stuff from status bar, lock screen, button, navigation, animation and many more like in most popular AOSP ROM (Lineage OS, RR, AEX) that official PE don't have.
For who love, prefer stock pixel experience with additional customization stuff, go to PEX.

Does everything work well on them? Like battery and WhatsApp calls?
