i can't get windows 10 on lumia 530 dual sim

hello
i think my phone is supported
windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/preview-supported-phones
and im registred on insider.windows.com
but when i install windows insider app , i don't get windows 10 update
it give me wp 8.10.14234.357
do i have to wait till next build or what ?
any help please

Install Windows 10 Mobile Redstone 14393.67 on 512 RAM devices

Note that the guideline is for devices which are running Windows 10 TH2.
I have successfully installed Windows 10 Redstone on my Lumia 520 with build 14393.67, so I post this topic for those who want to experience Windows Anniversary on a limited hardware device like me.
Firstly, you need to ensure your phone is "interop" and can be changed its registry. If yours can't, you can refer to the previous post "Interop Tools Appx for Windows 10 Mobile - registry editor" written by @dxdy

Secondly, change your phone information to "Lumia 950 XL" (After installing the interop tool included in the link above - version 1.7 is recommended)
Open the interop app, navigate to Registry Browser
HKEY_LOCAL_MICHINE/SYSTEM/Platform/DeviceTargetingInfo, then change:
PhoneManuafacturer: "NOKIA" --> "MicrosoftMDG"
PhoneHardwareViriant: ----> RM-1085
PhoneManuafacturerModelName: ---> RM-1085
PhoneModelName: ---> Lumia 950 XL
Important: If you are participating in Insider, you MUST STOP it. Otherwise, you won't receive any builds even Fast/Slow/Release Ring
Go to Update/Check update --> if you see the anniversary build, just waiting as usual. If not, install Upgrade Advisor from the Store, then check
Sometimes, you need to check by both ways (Settings/check update and Advisor) in turn to get updates.

For those who are using WP8.1, you can search "How to interop WP 8.1/ change registry" to upgrade to Windows 10 TH2 first, then apply my guideline, it's supposed to be working fine too.

Is it still possible to update WP8.1 to windows 10 TH2 using interop? Have anyone tried it?

Indeed, I understand what you are worried
Needless to say, because of limited hardware, so the device will got stuck sometimes if you open more apps or "heavy apps" like Facebook (>300MB), Messenger (>200MB). However, in genneral, I feel it is even better than TH2 545 actually - opening apps faster, smoother, lots of interesting changes we need to explore.
I am happy with this anniversary build

As far as I know, it's okay if your phone has 1GB of RAM. Otherwise, there is no way.
Hopefully, we can experience RS2 when it is officially released

Maybe, 530 is a very limited hardware device...

I succesfully obtained Redstone on a lumia 822 and 925

I changed those registry values to those of a 930 model and the anniversary build works fine on both Lumia 822 and 925, but I forgot keeping the original keys. Now I want to restore my model phone name and all the like without having to hard reset. Can anyone take a screenshot of the information found in Extras&Info of his Lumia 822 or Lumia 925 and send here?? It will help, thanks

why? you dont want more updates and/or apps getting updated?
just open regedit as before and change it back to original model, 822 and 925, thats it, but you gain nothing other than blocking updates by doing that

I need the original values, I lever noted them down before changing.
I need several soft resets to completely installa build on my Lumia 822, I am afraid it will loop for ever in the future. I better opt out of it.

i already makes some searches but i didn't found thing to install windows 10 on my L630
i also have L1020 and i had successfully upgade it using WPinternals but it's not supported to upgrade L630

Actually I wanted to know the step by step procedure of the offline update mentioned above. I am new to Windows phone developement so I don't know much about interop unlocking and other stuffs (such as the software used). So please provide the total guide from the beginning.

it's easy) just download "W10M_Offline_Update_V4.1" and "iutools" (https://forum.xda-developers.com/windows-10-mobile/guide-win10-mobile-offline-update-t3527340)
extract iutools(for example c:\iutools) and package(for you(lumia 630) it's "3rd Generation\63X") in c:\cab
then open cmd and enter this commands: "cd c:\iutools" and "iutools -V -p c:\cab". You can get error after last command, it's normal try open "settings>phone update" on you phone if update don't sart after 5 minets try enter second command agin.

don't connect to internet after upgrade you need disable "updating apps" in store becouse if you install new version "extras & info" you can't update you phone(

I recently had the idea I might resurrect my old Lumia 630 and use it as a navigation unit.
As I drive all over Europe the limited memory of the phone is not very useful.
Before I start installing lots of software and failing to achieve anything, does this update process still work, AND could I then move the maps to the SD card?
I realise that this is an old phone and old thread so thanks for any answers!

hi, i know message is old but i have an 630 and followed your message... wp10 update from 8.1 is ok. didnt connect to internet etc... now the problem is i downloaded Interop tools and copied it to sd card, but the phone doesnt install it...i also dont see it at extras...tried new and old versions also... the same..
so my problem is not to be able to change the registry for new update...
the reason why i wanna instal wp10 is to be able to use facebook, because it was blocked at 8.1 ..so if now i connect the internet will it be blocked if i dont play with registry ?
do you have any recommendation how i can now change the registry setting to Lumia 950 XL and get the updates ?

Coz is halfbricked. I reflashed to wp8.1 with reset protection activated and ffu gdr2 variant don't exist.

To boot anything you just have to replace bootarm.efi in EFIESP with a GDR2+ one (GDR2+ includes windows 10 as well). The one in this custom rom efiesp is probably still 8.1. This will solve the boot device not found problem.
