Substratum - Navbar themes - OnePlus 5T Questions & Answers

I am trying to apply navbar themes, but after reboot nothing changes.
I have root. Anyone know what could be the issue? Running FreedomOS

The only issue is Oneplus has rename "Navigation" to "drawable" bar because of this any substratum theme not working with OP5T.

Nav bar like Google Pixel

Hi guys, I want to know how to put the nav bar with the Google Pixel icons because i like it more than the stock.
Thanks!
Substratum is the only way to do this right now.
Substratum does not apply themes for the navbar as far as I can tell. Anyone find a way around this?
It's definitely possible. This guide shows how to make a flashable zip file for any device.

Yes, but not using Substratum. Which, for most people, would be more within their grasp as the guide mentioned

Rooted - change statusbar & navbar....possible?

Now that I've managed to root my M9, is there a way to change the look of the status bar and navigation bar (icons)?
Do I need to be S-OFF?
I have done something similar on a previous (Sony) phone using Xposed. is Xposed compatible with the m9?
Thanks
PS. I'm using Stock Marshmallow rom
Change the theme... I think some themes change those too..

I've tried themes but they only change the nav bar icons.
Thanks
Xposed is running fine here, but I haven't used it for changing status or navigation bar.
Why not try substratum?

GoogleSans Flashable Font Pack (fixed Lock Screen)

This is a zip I found elsewhere on XDA that I modified to fix the lock screen symbol problem. This will replace the system font with GoogleSans system-wide. Flash in TWRP.
Warning: I am not a developer. This worked on my OG Pixel XL running 8.1 but I cannot promise it will work for you. Flash at your own risk.

Those fonts are already on my Pixel. How does it change the system font from Roboto to Google Sans? The updater script only copies the fonts to /system/fonts.
Are you referring to the names of the font files in the zip? The actual fonts ARE Google Sans, but they have to be renamed as Roboto in order for the system to utilize them correctly. This zip just replaces the actual Roboto font files with Google Sans files renamed to match.

Thanks you save my day and my lockscreen block fo t on my Pixel Experience.
There is a zip on Magisk Manager called "Product Sans", which does the same thing but systemlessly.
Currently using it on my OG Pixel, the lockscreen clock is fixed so in case you want the systemless version, go check the zip on Magisk Manager.

Yeah it looks normal on stock 8.1 fonts but as soon as I apply Google/Product Sans it goes ugly even though that style of 1 isn't used anywhere else. It's weird.

Transparent Nav Bar

Is there anyways that I make my navigation bar at the bottom almost transparent? An example of what I mean is how the nav bar appears when you open Snapchat, or when you swipe left to Google Now , The bar is transparent.I want it to be transparent in every app if possible.
I looked around for that too, but it doesn't seem to exist. If I understand that right, the nav-bar is already transparent in theory. Only that most apps don't make use of that. also the status bar and nav bar are inseperable.

I have managed to separate the two but I haven't been able to keep apps from coloring the transparent navbar. I can make it always translucent, or a color, but not transparent. At least as of yet. I keep trying when I get a chance
Here's what he wrote, when I asked him about that:

Hello,
Would it be possible to leave the translucent navbar in all the apps in a GSI rom? My device does not have many custom roms, so I use GSI.
Thank you.

Maybe. I'd have to get a copy of your framework-res.apk and systemui.apk and see. What phone do you have?

I don't have your phone so I don't know exactly how to get this on your phone for you to try.
Here are a couple of different things to try but have a backup. These should create a backup in a folder on your sdcard called ozop. Flash in TWRP.

Hi,
I realized that my custom ROM is changing systemui so no luck with lockscreen clock. Now I am trying to change the system fonts for my current ROM and this linotte zip I found changes everything properly. I tried using your font installer for the Visby Round font and created a zip but it is missing a lot of parts of the ROM even though I think I included all the files.

All the Visby Round font files should be in the mymagiskfont.zip I uploaded or do you need something different?
Here's the zip I used for Visby on other roms that worked but seems to be missing a few weights. On the mymagiskfont zip I uploaded I actually re-used a couple of the same weights and renamed them to be used for the condensed weights. Hope that makes sense.
