Hi all!
On my Nexus 5x is installed the stock version of Android 8 Oreo. Since some weeks I receive notifications to update to the beta version 8.1, but I don't want this. I have hidden the update notifications, but the problem is that I don't receive stable monthly updates too. Now is installed the 8.0 version with patch level of October 2017. How can I update to the last stable patch level (I suppose November) and disable definitively update notifications to beta versions?
Thank you.

My phone is on the June patch. According to the Firmware finder there have been updates to 366 and to 367. Why am I no longer getting monthly patches (C432)?
My Honor (C432) also remained at the 366 version. Yet on the internet there are updates. I wonder why. I hope we'll have at least Android Pie 9 in the near future.
GPU Turbo
Anyone installed GPU turbo update yet?It is now available on firmware finder for C636 and C10

After 3 months of not receiving any updates, I finally received version 372 yesterday (September patch)
Last night finally via HiSuite, received the update B372. But it's strange that there is nothing written in the changes register, even knowing that there are security patches updated to September 1.
I received the B372 update via "Download the new full package", because the automatic updater or OTA didn't work at all and it was a good thing to update from the horrible buggy B366 to the full B372 version !
Now, my phone is not laggy, has good performance, and battery life is way better like before ! Can't wait now for the new GPU CPU Turbo update which should be coming around november !
This firmware version came to my phone as a large 1107MB OTA update. At first I thought it was just a normal security patch with some fixes,
but turns out it isn't.
MIUI Forum - Beta Stable OTA Announcement - August 30th, 2018
According to the page above, this is a Beta Stable ROM.
What does this mean? Xiaomi just chose me and a bunch of other users as beta testers at random?
Will we have a final stable version to download at some point?
Or are we stuck in this Beta Update Channel?
-----------------------
The September 2018 security patch has been released today for the regular Mi A2 (Jasmine), but not for the A2 Lite (Daisy), and I suspect the above is the exact reason for this.
Very confusing, could someone please clarify?

If any of you finally receive the september 2018 security update, post here as a reply.

There's no changelog of any kind. It's completely stable, not sure why it's still a beta.

I'm also on V9.6.6.0.ODLMIFF ... And not receive September security update till now... And last update large size 1107 MB .....
I've bought this phone earlier this year (at a big store) and I haven't received an update. I haven't rooted/modified ROM/unlocked bootloader or anything. I used it as it is.
But the thing is that the phone can't connect to the OTA updates, and it should have at least find the latest security patches. What is wrong?

Actualy there is a more recent Pie build with march patches : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=82210047&postcount=158
It's weird that the OTA is not working.
I recently flashed Oreo stock rom ( miflash) and upgraded to Pie over OTA, i could only get the 10.18 version, probably other update is pulled to, it was 75mb , maybe just security patch and some software to prepare upgrade to android 10
I recently update My RN9 to miui 12.0.5, i really feel like nothing changed on this new update but Android security patch is from the first of november.
Security update in system and patch indeed.
Most improved shall become out off the system apps update I think.first mayor update we most wait for android 11 and later miui 13.the Chinees rom is on 12.0.6 atm
I have the EU 4/128 NFC variant, got 12.0.4 a few days ago.
Hi,
I am reading horrible stories about the oneui 4.0 update causing for a lot of trouble ?
For that reason i have not updated since 1 dec ( = one ui 4.0 update ).
Is there an easy way of trying the update on my device and rolling back when the update is too problematic ?
thanks,
tom
I would not. Wait until the bugs are worked out.
I'm still running on Android 9 and 10 on my 2 N10+'s with no issues. Not going change the firmware as they run well... and are fulfilling their mission.
You rolled the dice every time you update especially when the device is running well.
thanks for the reply, but i am very concerned about security updates.
The phone hasn't received any since 1 December since they are combined with the one UI update.
Is there a way you can install samsung security updates separately ?
