Hey I've got a problem with my One V. It can't detect SIM card. On lockscreen it says No SIM card detected. What to do? Thx for help
Solved
I'm currently running slimkat rom, and my Fire Phone won't detect my sim card. My sim card has been cut down from a micro sim, so I suspect that may be the problem. The same sim card works perfectly fine in my Nexus 6 though. I never tried the sim card when the phone was still on Fire OS, so I don't know if I needed to pop it in first before switching to AOSP or what. Anyone ever had any similar issues?
I have the same problem. My phone is currently on latest build of CM-11

The problem was with sim card slot.
FirePhone has the worst sim card slot in any phone I have ever had...

Yes, it sounds stupid but I had the same problem. SIM card inserted not exactly right. I kept getting SIM card errors until I finally got the SIM card in right.
Hello everyone,I'm from china so forgive my English
I have a problem recently and seems there's no other guys have this issue as same as mine.
My device has been unlocked and rooted, and I've flashed a unofficial ROM based on H2OS,and then the most weird thing is my SIM card slot 1 just can not work normally.
The specifically situation is,(I'm pretty sure that both of my SIM cards can work normally and one of them is a brand new one.) when I use the slot 1 only, every time I put the card in and after about 5 hrs then my device just can not read the SIM card,it shows up no SIM card inside, and it can't be solved if I reboot my device. I have to take the SIM card out and put it in again and after about 5 hrs it shows no cards in again like a loop.
And then I have tried my card slot 2, lucky for me it can be used well, none issues.
The third situation is when I use both my SIM cards, after bout 5hrs
It still shows up no cards in, both slot 1&2. And I still have to take the cards out then put them in again or I can just use the slot 2 only to avoid this weird situation.
And now the latest news is I used twrp to root my device again and now it seems everything works fine in slot 1, but I have to wait for 5hrs to make sure of this.
Oh I forgot one thing, once I tried to uninstall xposed but it seems nothing to do with my SIM card slot 1 problem
it shows up again!
No SIM card inside when I use the slot1 only.
it really upset me now and don't know how to solve this problem.
I may have had a similar problem. Sim1 would forget that I had a card installed every hour or so. Sim2 would forget there was a card installed once or twice a day. The only thing that would fix it was reseating the card and rebooting the phone. I suspect a loose Sim card tray and had to RMA my phone.

have you fixed the problem after RMA?I've already bought a new tray and waiting to try
I'm still awaiting my replacement phone. I will let you know when it comes in.
Just an update: the new phone works fine. It's safe to say that my first phone had hardware problems.
Hi. I've got weird problem. Coincidentally, I updated my OP3 to OxygenOS 5.0.1 and at the same day i changed my mobile operator (so my sim card too, of course). Since that day i have got very weird problem. After reboot my phone doesn't recognize my sim card anymore (just like any sim card wouldn't be inside phone). This is happening once in a few reboots. One of the problem solutions is another reboot (But this doesn't always fix my issue). Another solution is to put out sim card nad put it inside phone again. I don't know is it problem of:
1) Phone hardware
2) Update
3) Faulty new sim card
Is anyone having similiar problem after update ?
Hello , my lg g4 had a problem to reading sim cards , I decided to flash my phone with octaplus pro box and everything worked perfectly in the first boot , the sim card reader read my sim card correctly but after restarting my phone I saw a weird thing my network has been disabled and my phone's IMEI had gone . I tried to flash another firmware and again everything was right in the first boot , but whenever I restart my phone the IMEI will be null and sim card reader doesn't read my sim card .
it seems a weird problem , I tried to flash 5 firmware and every single of them has the same problem . I don't think this is a hardware issue , but if you think it is I would be really appreciated if you could help me to fix my phone.
for additional information I should tell I flashed ".kdz" format and I didn't find the .tot file for H540 . BTW what is the problem of my phone?
thank you
