Hello guys, I need your urgent help badly :crying::crying:
My OP3 was running on open beta 27 and i dont know why i flashed 4.5.1 firmware over it via TWRP ( BLUE spark's 8.54) and after that i have not seen no life on my OP3. it's completely off, no keys working . Iam getting nothing.
i have tried mega unbrick guide, my op3 is showing as " QUALCOMM HS-USB QDLOADER 9008 " AND i am unable to make my device show as QUALCOMM 9008 as mentioned in guide, even tried many ways as guide had. so MSM FLASHER is unable to detect my device
PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME GUYS, I DONT WANT TO LOOSE MY OP3,
please guys confirm it as my device showing under device manager in bricked condition so, there is ni hardware damage ?????
EDIT - THERE IS ISSUE WITH INSTALLATION TIME OF QUALCOMM DRIVER, WHEN IT ASK FOR CHOOSING SUITABLE INSATLLATIO METHOD [ see SS FOR better understanding ] ( i was choosing 1st option and got undetected device iin flasher but after uninstalling driver and again installing with 2nd option gets worked :laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh: )

there is no issue with device naming and updating drivers ( only matters QDLAODER 9008) and detection of device in msm flasher, it'll automatically flash the files

I had also same problem before a month.
#Download Qualcome usb driver and replace on computer''s device manager.
#download that Msm download tools and use 2nd method(follow Naman Balla's post on Xda)

and 1 more thing, did you got your fon connected as qualcomm 9008 or had same name as earlier and still msm flasher dectected your device ??

It was working fin and then when i update it in system update it say download failed and asked for roboot i click ok and then it reboot and stuck on logo then logo freezes then roboot my device is not rooted and i didn't enable developer option so oem is locked now can't flash anything with abd fastboot i tryed msm download tool 3.0.2 when i click in verify it say all ok and when i click start it say download complete and it roboot in android is starting or upgrade dont remember.

usuing cwm i formatted all partitions(boot,emmc..etc) and phone didn't boot or enter flash mod but vibrated with blank screen.
it detected as Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM but also as storage device,i cleaned partitions and created 1 partition with FAT file system.
now there is no any sign of life except Nokia emergency connectivity.
with or without battery only detects as below:

You may have to flash The Stock Rom again !
Try out the Nokia Flasher Or The Nokia Studio ( can get it from the Nokia website as well as the Stock Rom )

Good then , have you tried Nokia X flasher ? you only need to Boot into the bootloader mode and selec the files needed

yes,but phone doesn't enter either flash mod or bootloader ,in fact deleted all partitions and fully formatted internal storage,so there is no any sign of life except Nokia emergency connectivity.

How can you know that it doesn't boot in bootloader mode ? the nokia Logo does appear right ?
If not i think you need to try the shop as a last resort

Wow ! you may need to consult the Nokia's support , and to enter bootloader mode you need to press power button untill vibrate and switch to Volume down , it will only show the Nokia Logo and stay there , if it does try to flash some recovery img and start over , it may work , i can't really say much more than this , sorry ...

From my understanding jtag or octoplus box is the only way ive restored both g2 and g3 hardbricks. But no method is available yet other than above again from my understanding unless somethings changed in the last few weeks

Which G4 variant is yours? Cause they found an unbrick method using Win32DiskImager and booting it from external memory. Also, some of the partitions image they have, have several mbn files in them. Idk if thats what you're looking for.

Before that, did you install Qualcomm_QDloader Drivers ? If you install them you'll get QDloader 9008 mode

I'm a bit of a novice at flashing roms myself, I used this thread > http://forum.xda-developers.com/vibe-p1/development/qpst-flashing-vibeui-3-1-s272-rom-t3386650 and the driver I installed in windows 10 is the second in the list > Qualcomm_USB_Drivers.zip I also found the USB cable that came with the phone was not good enough so I'd advice trying a different one...

I have the same problem as you. Device manager is not showing Qualcomm HS-USB loader 9008 in com port. I have Alcatel idol 4s windows 10 smartphone open market variant, and wanted to flash the phone, but no success so far. When I shut down the phone and go to download mode(flash mode), my PC finds only Qualcomm msm device under USB devices, and nothing in com port no matter I previously installed Qualcomm hs-usb 9008 loader driver. Even doesn't want to change the driver saying that there is already latest driver installed (relates to Qualcomm msm device). Of course that in that case I am not able to flash the phone, because the program (flashing tool) says that there is no device attached. What I should I do in order to install Qualcomm loader 9008 driver and flash the phone?
This is driver issue which you are facing in your device manager, I think you should get these USB drivers installed on your PC.

drivers is installed, Then I'm starting to flashing process without TestPoint Method via MiFlash Tool. I'm facing a "Cannot Read From Port COM6"
After TestPoint using MiFlash Tool I'm facing bunch of errors.. Like "The requested resource is in use", same previous error "Cannot Read From Port COM6", "The write timeout" ..

I think this is because Anti Rollback
There is no MIUI 10 Fastboot ROM. For Redmi Note 5 Pro.

Same issue happened with me and i gave it to service center. Now they are replacing my mobile motherboard. And they will replace it for free as it will be in warranty

Did you solve the problem?
I have 100% the same problem:
if you try flashing any rom, even latest beta rom you get the message "Can not read from port COM{portnum}".
I followed every possible tutorial on this forum, nothing works.
Phone is refusing to flash with any rom.
There is a workaround: you can replace inside the images/ directory prog_emmc_firehose_Sdm660_ddr.elf file with a custom file.
( http://www.mediafire.com/file/mxugl93nf4675k9/prog_emmc_firehose_Sdm660_ddr.elf/file )
Then you can flash, you will not get the message "Can not read from port COM{portnum}" anymore.
However after flashing your phone will not boot.
There is no solution at the moment, you can throw away your phone.
@talhosvi If the phone will not boot then what is the point of doing this?

You did a format storage by untick the protect efs on Xiaomi Pro Tools.
How are you able to use QPST / 9008 Mode ? I thought it's locked to Authorized Xiaomi Service Accounts only?
I don't know if that would restore the IMEI, but you could flash Stock ROM with Mi Flash. Maybe that would get it back? But idk...

Yes, it would. You can use ENG firmware to enable DIAG Mode or root the phone. You have to use the original QCN backup from Poco F3 or another QCN that comes from the same baseband version and chipset model. Still, there is an RSA key resistor that protects the software to avoid dual IMEI repair, you will only be able to write a single IMEI except you're doing modification on hardware (there is a resistor need to be removed or replaced with a particular value).
In that guy's case, mistakenly untick EFS protection when using auth flash from Xiaomi Pro Tools.
Try Fartory (fastboot)rom.My be returns to normal.

Last month I tried flashing the .img files to the modem and modemst partitions under the bootloader, and then my baseband was lost.
Finnaly I paid ￥60 to someone to restore the baseband using the modem.img and modemst.img I had backed up before. After he flashed twrp to my phone, he entered the adb shell and used the ''dd'' command to move the .img file to places like /dev/sdexx. And my phone had a signal and a mobile network after booting.
Hope to give you some ideas.

He can't because he hired a guy to do the flashing for him - and blocked him + refused to pay afterwards... Lmao serves him right karma qt work.
Maybe he actually managed to keep the files ? Usually when you hire someone they delete the files when done... But from the message above it is said that he clicked the wrong btton when flashing, maybe he said he wanted to do it himself under supervision? Who knows all ik is that he got called out and stopped replying afterwards.
Moderators removed the messages from the guy that was scammed yet they left this thread up smh...

I think you have not installed the Diag drivers.
Install Qualcomm Diag QD Loader Drivers

You need to be in diagnostic mode in order to edit the qcn file. Your phone must be rooted. Check out the following link to find out more (Skip to step 3). Please tell me if you were able to restore your imei or not. Thanks.
