I bought a LTE tablet from Craigslist and discovered it had a tiny screen crack, that fully cracked when I tried to fix the non-responsive screen.
I put the motherboard on my wifi screen looking at the extra connector, but not thinking about it, the whole time I was doing it.
The tablet seems to get a quick GPS lock but it hasn't left my driveway yet.
Any chance anyone has used a LTE model without the back cover and can say what the GPS lock is like?
If it comes to it I can cut the GPS antenna and tape it in place.

1239-8325. Gps Ant Flex.
Wierd question I know.
But I have noticed that my screens surface is rough not smooth as 'regular' glas of whatever kind. And after countless cleanings and wipings and whatever the surface stil doesnt have that smoothness where one just easily touches the screen with the finger and moves easily the menu and so on.
Am going to try to take pictures, because I noticed some odd patterns on the screen if a flash light is used.
Cheers.

If anyone can help me with this problem I'm having, I would greatly appreciate it. So ever since I bought my E4GT in August of 2012, the menu button has not functioned correctly. Part of it is covered. Whenever my phones been used heavily it starts acting up. Part of it is covered (it was like that out of the box). If the screen gets hot, the menu will start showing options. The only way to stop it is to lock-n- unlock. Is it my phone when it heats up it thinks it's being touched? Do I need a new digitizer, cause this is getting on my nerves now. And of I do have to replace the digitizer, should I have sprint replace the digitizer or is there one online I could get for under $50 that I could do myself. I have pictures of it.

Washing Machine good for it? Let's say 1 hour at 50 degrees.
Suprisingly, something survived. After a little warm up and dry, phone still boots. Also Wifi is working. Unfortunatly telephone and 3g doesn't connect. Elixir2 doesn't detect system status. Just managed with "Android System Info" to check these settings. This just doesn't tell me anything.
So the phone / network is dead right?

Have you taken it apart? It is possible that you still have some moisture affecting the radio card, or that the board or antenna might have been knocked loose...
Bought this (still in the mail) and was wondering if anyone had some suggestions on the best fix? Parts are cheap but I've got 2 part epoxy, jewelry quality hot glue and super glue in my tool kit so I was wondering if anyone has glued one of these back together and how it held up?

I used superglue and it worked until it fell off of a counter.
High temp hot glue did the trick, I use this stuff to mount neodymium magnets, the only non perm way I've found that can hold onto those little suckers, and if you screw up you can hit with a heat gun and rework it..

I didn't actually think about them. Glad you got it fixed.
