I have a very strange issue.i was running resurrection remix rom since I bought OnePlus 3t.A month ago touch was not working on a small row.i tried several roms including official oxygen os nougat, but the issue persist.but when I upgraded to Oreo it was fixed automatically.then I reverted to nougat again, and the issue is back again.since it's not a hardware problem, what could be the possible fix?

My device is getting struck after I flashed Resurrection remix which did not happen when there is Oxygen Os and also in the multi windows , many times there is an extra window called Android System, which is not visible in Oxygen Os ,I would like you to suggest me to solve the problem or should I flash the latest Oxygen OS ?Thank you
hi,
I was on Resurrection Remix with Elementalx kernel and everything was working fine, there were no bugs. But i accidentally encrypted my device so i had to completely wipe it. After wiping it, i installed Freedom OS 1.6 (which is based on Oxygen OS) but dint like it so i decided to use multirom, move freedom os to a secondary slot and install Paranoid Android as a Primary rom. But when i booted into PA, i did the initial setup and realized that the home button just wasn't working and there wasn't an option to add a fingerprint as well. I tried installing Resurrection Remix and Pac Rom as both primary and secondary roms but they also dint recognize the home button and the fingerprint sensor. I am sure that this is not a hardware issue because it still works fine in Freedom OS
Thanks in advance :good:
make sure which firmware you are using. Some custom roms like Cm13 for example are not working with Firmware higher that 3.2.4, I think this will be issue, so flash 3.2.4 firmware with twrp and your fingerprint will be back!
but if i flash Oxygen OS then my phone will get encrypted again right?
so is there a way to flash Oxygen OS without getting encrypted?
As slg60 already said, you need the appropriate firmware for each ROM and afaik encryption is enabled by default in all 6.0+ ROMs and I don't know why'd want to turn that off.
I flashed Freedom OS 1.4.4 which is based on Oxygen OS 3.2.4 and does not force encryption, wiped data and then flashed AOSPA and its working fine! Thanks for the help!
i wanted to disable encryption as multirom doesn't support encrypted devices.... and Oxygen OS is the only rom that i have used that forces encryption....
Everytime i try to connect it just says Connecting... ----> Disabled ----> Saved Repeat
I tried LineageOS and ressurection Remix. It worked on LineageOS when i first tried it but when i updated to a more recent build it juist stopped working.
So i reinstalled LineageOS but then the wifi didn't work so i flashed the stock 5.0 firmware and it worked and i rooted again, installed ressurection remix and the same thing is happening.
I have exactly the same problem. With the stock rom it is working.
With the latest build OS 14.1-20170131-NIGHTLY-jagnm not.
I can see all networks but if I connect it fails with authentication error an deactivates the network after some retries
I update today to latest version 20170207 still the same
Same issue
I´ve just to install the lastest version "lineage-14.1-20170517-nightly-jagnm-signed", even this from Resurrection Remix "RR-N-v5.8.3-20170428-jagnm-OFFICIAL" and both togheter has the same issue.
Did anybody find any solution?
Regards, David
Also my phone encounter.....it seems a kernel problem
same here, only on stock rom wifi works fine, resurrection and lineage have the same issue, today 30/6/17 on latest lineage os version
Hi guys,
as I said in the title I have flashed the Resurrection remix on my zuk z2. The rom is great but the camera is just bad. I would like to install a stock rom like the francko86 or similar, but I wonder if there'll be any problems due to the different android version. In fact, when I installed the RR I previously had flashed the Stock nougat rom with no gapps. Do you have any similar experience or knowledge that can help me out?
Thanks a lot for your time

You have to go back to 6.0 first.
Best way to do so is flashing Stock 6.0 via QFIL.
So you have to unlock the Bootloader again and stuff.
Greetings,
I updated to OOS 5.0 when it was first released and since updating to the latest Oreo based firmware I am experiencing a strange issue. My phone randomly freezes at the OnePlus logo. Is anybody else experiencing this?
I am currently running with the official Oreo based Resurrection Remix build and yesterday it happened again. So I guess it must be related to the Oreo firmware and not the Rom.
I never experienced this issue on Nougat or Marshmallow and it only happens randomly. Difficult it is, to determine the cause.
Peace
