Well I bit the bullet and ordered one. It took quite awhile to set up the account. But if I did it correctly I might actually get one of these. Google conversion shows about $20 shipped for the device. Probably take a month to get it though...lol.

Not much. There's a custom ROM that is basically just stock with some battery/performance tweaks, but that's about it.

How in the hell do you register on this site? I wouldnt mind grabbing one wish they would put them on ebay or something instead.

I ordered it from here http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=...cket=17#detail someone else posted the link several posts down from the OP. I used google translate to translate the page. I signed up and linked Paypal. It was trial and error and when I ordered it, I wasn't even sure if everything worked. However my status shows it shipped on the 1st of June, but there is no tracking number just a transaction number. I have to click a button once I receive it. I should have ordered a bunch of them, but I was iffy till I actually get it. If it works, I could pick up several more and set something up via paypal, or ebay to make it easier. Or you can try your luck signing up on that website. Either way is fine with me, I'm not looking to make a profit, just cover the cost of the item.
Hopefully it shows up soon from Beijing.

If you feel like picking up a bunch, I'd definitely be interested. If not, that's cool. I only want to unlock my 360 for the sake of having it unlocked. There are no mods that I know of that really appeal to me.

That's funny, I also only really wanted to unlock mine or just hook it to the computer. Feels like I have a security box with no key. The box may be empty, but I want to open it anyways.... Anyhow, the conversion from Yuan to dollars works out to about $17 dollars shipped. In Yuan it's 79 plus 20 for shipping. It may be cheaper if I order like 10 to 20 though. But I want to make sure this thing arrives and also works as advertised first. I will post here when mine arrives. No tracking info also....

You sent it directly to US? Cause I had to use forwarding freight services to send to my place. I haven't seen any shipment by taobao that doesn't provide tracking. I shop there very frequently. I can help if you guys need any help.

Samsung told me it would be a minimum of 3 weeks to get a replacement for my faulty Note 7. They will replace all the faulty Note 7s then restock the stores. That will be I would say around 6-8 weeks.

In Israel official launch for those who preordered should have begun tomorrow...
But now It's unclear, samsung officials have no Idea when the device is coming.
Im so disappointed, I am waiting since april for the device, and I would gladly pay for an expolding device and take that minimal risk it has a defect.
An exploding note7 is much better than my current LG G2 mini..

To be honest I think they should exchange our phones first. We are dealing with potential life/fire/explosion hazard so...

No one knows the answer to the OP's question not even, in fact especially, Samsung. WE are all going to just have to wait this one out. It will make ownership when it comes even more of a delight.
I hope they take the time to sort the CG glass problem out.
I guess non of us are good at waiting eh!

I contacted Samsung (from UK) they told me in 2 weeks I will have a replacement. They also told me in 7 days I will be contacted with an update.

That is why Samsung told everyone to stop using it (... and put it in a blast proof casing. )

I just saw in the Netherland the stores say more than 4 weeks to indicate the availability of the product!
Will samsung wait all this time? A lot of people with preorders could take another phone, especially now that iphone is available

This is indeed a problem. Have you noticed though that all reviewers and many customers moan about paying 880€ for the Note 7 but no one is moaning about the cost of the iPhone 7 that is some areas is superior to the Note 7 and in other areas inferior. The iPhone 7 here would cost me 250€ MORE!
Both good mobiles and though very different will please most of their customer clientele.
I have my Note 7 on order due to exchange programme and am fortunate enough to be able to wait. I am still using my SG S6 Edge +. After using an S-AMOLED QHD screen no way could I return to IPS FHD technology, just my choice. I respect others. :good:

eh eh, what you ask me is about Cupertino marketing perception. I would go really off topic to reply on that, and would not be enough exhaustive.
Just hope Samsung will manage well this moment of crisis, otherwise from my side not big deal. Theirs Android concurrent will gain more market space, and for me this is nice as well. After all even a fragmented Android market is far more strong than Apple without Jobs.
More competition, more benefits for us, and next time samsung: do not be so greed... make telephone that can be open... all your problems would be now vanished:angel:, if you really want to give us water resistant features do a decent cover that REALLY goes under water

Does anyone know when they're going to be available to order again? I've been on Googles waitlist for awhile now, there's no ETA. and i sent them an email yesterday and they replied back with this..

Check nowinstock website and run the page refresh extension with "out of stock" phrase alert.
They've had them available for ordering on and off every week. They had many last week, in stock lasted for days.

Good news, I did google chat with a product specialist and they checked the warehouse and said the Pixel XL will be back in stock at some point in time before this week ends (when it happens it will probably sell out again, so pay close attention to it)

Shouldn't i get a notification from them that they're back in Stock if I'm in the waiting list?

Gotcha. I got mine ordered. The way you posted it made me think you were copying and pasting it from somewhere

I order my pixel xl around November 5th~8th (can't remember when exactly) and google told me it would be delivered at around December 15th-19th. Today I got an email that they've already sent it and that it coming till the 22th. I signed for the accidental protection deal cuz I'm not a careful person :S I hope it pays off.

tried to register on that site (nowinstock) and it told me that they don't accept emails from that provider....It's a gmail!??? oh well...so much for setting an alert. looking for a Quite Black 128gb XL... manual refreshed it is...
EDIT: Got it figured out. col site, never knew it existed...

Does anyone have any idea why it takes so long to restock these phones? Why are not cargo ships full of them unloading every day? I would guess some component is in short supply?
And an observation, why did google make a useless 32G model with no expansion slot? If they made a 64G and 128G model there would be a lot less problems. Of course most people would probably buy the 64G model and they would not get to sell the $100 upgrade.

I have mine coming next week. I couldn't find many places to order from then again that depend where you located. In the end I purchased from liaow, a bit on the expensive side but they ship pretty quick and have decent support if you need send it back for service.

Mine comes today. I got it from Alibaba. £1200 UK pounds. I'm liking the wide screen form factor. But damn my mate x2 takes amazing pics.
I'll see how they compare

It's arrived. Looks more premium than I thought it would. Now to test. Just looks smaller than my mate x2. But video footage in landscape mode is a bit bigger.

I did. 3 days from China.
So far I prefer the form factors of this than my mate x2. But omg this camera is poor! It just can't compare to the mate x2.
But I really like it so far apart from that

I currently have SAMSUNG GALAXY FOLD and am now in two minds..do i go for Xiaomi Mi MIx FOLD or SAMSUNG glalaxy Z FOLD 2......at the moment I am just tipped toward the Xiaomi...(the FOLD 3 I heard not very exciting and screen no bigger).. larger foldable glaxay tab early 2022 with S pen looks cool, but wanna move on from my curent FOLD ...and am thinikng it is gonna be to Xiaomi Mi MIX FOLD......had XIaomi Mi Mix phones in the past and they are awesome.

Camera is meant to be awesome with that liquid lens ....that is not a deal breaker for me tho.....i want bigger screen that the Mi Mix FOLD has....

Pretty good. With heavy use all day. Email, web browsing, couple hours of gaming, couple 30 minute YouTube sessions, and I'm still left with 22% battery left.

I use it just fine on TMobile USA on 4G LTE (can't use 5G as it doesn't support my carriers 5G bands). So it depends on what carrier are you planning on using it on and check the bands.

There's still hope - screen replacements!
Heard the Pixel 6 Pro is repairable. However, you have to enroll the fingerprint scanner which is easy with Google's tool.

True Google quoted about 240 to repair 189.99 plus vat I'm just using a HTC u11+ atm

You have two numbers in the bottom of your screenshot you might want to blur those out.
Sorry to see your pixel die, yes screen replacement is possible but to be honest, you can be refurbs for like £300 last time i checked.

Thank you IV edited the picture even though those were my dad's number they are in public domain as there his business numbers ye true Google quoted 189 then vat tax in top it's 243 close to that I wouldn't just go to after market I did check one of the partners and screen was like 249 from them ismash so it's cheaper though Google IV upgraded to the pixel 7 pro now got that coming Tuesday using a HTC u11+ for now also have a Sammy a40 from 18 and a HTC A9 to use in the meantime

Rip, try dev options to set other display cutout so phone avoids using as much of that part of the screen for now

if my phone dies i have a jailbroken iphone 8 with a shattered screen or a random lenovo phone without working volte so im kinda done for

Ye not long after posting the phone completely died I did change the cut out but died I think like 2 to 3 hours after

I have a Lumia 650, a34 or iPhone 8 if something were to happen to my 6pro. Probably look at getting another pixel from eBay if needed.
