Just noticed my OP3 has an issue where gmail notifications don't fire up the notification LED :crying:
Others are suffering the same. Tried unistalling and reinstalling, clear gmail cache and data but the problem persists. From what I gather, its just Gmail that has this issue as outlook and text messages work fine.

ok, my gmail app has always worked. but lately im not receiving them at all. If im on my pc I see 4-5 unread emails, but 0 on phone, once I refresh inbox than they appear. Im running the newest fresh rom.
anyone else experiencing this? I also tried clearing app cache etc..
Check to make sure all labels are set at "Sync All" in the settings.
About a week ago my Desire stopped syncing with Google calendar properly.
The items missing are regular recurring events. These events are still in my calendar when I log on to Google Calendar via the computer, but have disappeared from the phone calendar. Non-recurring events still appear on the phone.
I've tried unchecking and then re-checking Google under accounts to force a re-sync, but no joy.
Any ideas, short of a wipe data/factory reset?
Sorry to bring up this old thread again but I'm facing the same issue, did you have any luck resolving it?
I recently installed revolution rom 5.0 but gmail sync was working fine then all of a sudden this morning I stopped recieving emails in the gmail app, I have to actualy open the app and hit refresh to get my emails, all the settings are correctly configured and I already tried deleting cache, removing account, etc.
Any idea if this may be a gmail server issue instead?
I have h815 rom version v10e, not rooted. two weeks ago ,my phone stopped syncing inbox, gmail and hangout messages. i've tried installing and uninstalling the apps, clearing cache and disabling sync and re-enabling and fiddeling with battery saving options but the problem persists. when i sync manually it works fine but not automatically. how can i fix this?
Hi,
i don't get any gmail notifications in MIUI on F3.
I've already disabled powersaving on the apps "google" and "gmail".
I've also checked the notification inside the gmail app is set to "all".
Any ideas how to fix?
Thx a lot

Have you tried disabling MIUI power savings?
I notice GMail notifications are usually delayed compared to MIUI's built-in mail app or Outlook, that's because I believe GMail does not support push notifications for Gmail accounts.
@Medvosteri Locking don't fixes the problem.
@Nemix77 If you mean the app specific, i did.
Notifications are not delayed, they simply don't appear.. even after hours..
Gmail was working fine on my old Galaxy A50.. now i have a flagship killer without E-Mail notifications :/
Update: Seems a reboot after disabling power safeing on the Gmail App did the Trick...
