Snapdragon Camera (App) Flashable Zip

This app is for Qualcomm devices. Simply flash it via twrp.
I've tested on both my RN3P and Moto g4, all works well

The focus is quite good on it so I would imagine so. I recommend testing as I could be wrong

I have flashed it through twrp and it shows installed but cannot see it on my apps list.

I see. I would google "Snapdragon camera nougat" im sure there will be plenty of ports etc

This breaks SafetyNet when used with Magisk v17.1..

Today I'm presenting the most awaiting MOD to install/enable MIIUI10 AI Portrait Mode feature for Rear/Back Camera in Redmi 5 Plus MIUI10 without root. Flash the TWRP/Orange Fox recovery after unlocking bootloader, flash the latest Xiaomi EU Rom and flash the Camera Patch (Patch by rashidmalyk #paintyourandroid.zip) and enjoy portrait mode on front+rear/back camera.

Not supporting at now, but you could give it a try on china beta, in future it will be available for global beta as well!

Hmm, but the expressed situation/problem/question is little bit complex, you'd asked about the AI Mode on rear cam while its already there, please clear your statement about AI

Any fix for gcam front camera on the global version of whyred?

I don't get it, why isn't anyone talking about this.. no version of gcam works with the front camera, and the patches I've tried so far did not work.. any ideas? I would like to make it just work like it did on mi a1.. fortunately i broke my mi a1 and im stuck with note 5

I"m using Syberia (official one). It comes with Camera 2API enabled out of the box. Camera apk which im using is Arnova V8.3 build 5.1.018.177624777

For Camera patch im using v1.035a (nhappyman)
First i advise you to go to Syberia (official one) thread and check OP"s links for patchs and gcam. There was a update about them.
Im not sure if its going to work on miui, but for custom roms i highy advise TWRP version of the patch
If You are using a rom that doesn"t have camera 2API enabled, than please search for a build prop edition method to enable it. Magisk modules for that are buggy
And if you have tried some other modules and patches that didn"t work i advise a clean flash of the rom

Go to general section of our device and go to thread called screen on time
Paired with basic kernel its good. Just a little worse than 8.1 . 2 days backup with almost 10h of SOT is doable

I haven't tried the non-rooted version. Version 6 looks fine. Also, there are instructions to install it on the page.
BTW, I use the version 7 for rooted devices with front camera fix. It works perfectly. In fact, it is the lone reason for which I have rooted my device. You should consider that after you try the non-rooted version out

Thanks brother. The non rooted versions have horrible portrait and night modes with non working front camera. No time to root the phone. Please let me know if a working non rooted version surfaces.
