Whenever, I try to record any call the audio gets to muffled up that you can't understand anything. This thing happens with other Z2 as well. Any dev try to fix it please.

Hello XDA community! I'm posting here to see if anyone can help me out. Whenever I make or receive calls, I have to put the call on speaker mode or else the other line won't have sound from me. I also have to restart my phone whenever I take out my headphones or else my music will play on speaker, too. I don't know if this is a related issue or not. Please help! :crying:
the title says it all... when a play a song it plays fine...when i record sound it records/plays back fine but when in a call i can't hear the person on the other end and they can't hear me...there is no static...no other sounds just silence...im stumped... ive booted into safe mode with the same problem
Did you mute the call?

Well there are many factors as to why this is happening (hardware, some app that messes up your calls, etc.). But if you are running a custom ROM then I wont be suprised. Its simply a bug.
I suggest you Google for "no sound during call android" and try out the many proposed solutions at the given sites. If you lost hope, just go and see a service center.
So I get why noise cancellation can be useful during calls, but noise cancellation in video recording is absolutely ridiculous!
Also I find while recording audio from an audio recording app that even there was no noise cancellation selected for the app, my OnePlus 3 was still working it!
Please...Please! I don't want this! It is spoiling my experience of a perfect phone.
Yawn... go to the audio mods thread... there is a fix for that... please read around in the forums first before opening a new thread, thanks.

I cant record loud sounds (medium volume sounds too) in snapchat as when i record them,they seem to be bursting and are so so noisy and monstrous.
When i play music in my phone and then record a video, the sound bursts out in the recording.
I just wanted to confirm that is everyone having this issue or its just me??..
Its not a hardware problem as this problem donot occurs in tw roms ... And occurs everywhere else. Be it any nougat or marshmallow rom.
Is there any fix for this??
