[MOD][VRtheme][LE1/LE4]Sense styled resents apps mod with transparency[UPDATED]

Sense styled recent apps​For DARKSIDE UVLE1 v7​
Simple SystemUI mod to change stock recent apps menu
(menu you get when you hold home button)
to Sense styled (horizontal scroll) with working horizontal
view.
Information​This version is customized a little, with transparent background
& multiple colors available for the background.
Choosing options​to install options, simply replace file in flashable zip
'vrtheme' is equivalent to root folder,
so 'vrtheme/system/' is system,
Backgrounds​backgrounds are in 'vrtheme/system/app/SystemUI.apk/res/drawable'
replace:
status_bar_recents_background.xml
FILES ATTACHED ARE NOT .TXTs!!
Alternate resources.arsc​if you want full rotation (4-way) + lockscreen rotation,
replace
'vrtheme/system/framework/framework-res.apk/resources.arsc'=
with the one in
'*resources.rotation+lock.zip' attached ('*' being version used.. LE4 is comming)
*resources.stock.zip is stock with thumbnails resized, no other edits
Alternate version​file tagged 'v1' is identical to alternate,
but icons are directly at the bottom of thumbnail,
similar to first screens
Installation​Simply download the version you want,
make the customizations you want (background/etc.) using root explorer/7zip
1.) move zip to sdcard
2.) reboot recovery
3.) select 'install zip from sdcard'
4.) select the zip & install
5.) reboot
to go back to stock:
(creation of the zip might be done on next release for now some user knowledge is needed)
1.) extract flashable & make folder 'system' in new folder
2.) move /sdcard/vrtheme-backup/system/[app & framework]
folders to system folder you created in step one
3.) delete vrtheme folder
4.) repack META-INF & system folders ONLY
5.) move new zip to sdcard
6.) flash via recovery again
Bblue is similar to ICS blue and 4a_darkblue is a dark blue that mixes well,

DARKSIDE TLLE4​Edition​Multi-DPI / Tweaked edition​

This version is for strictly for Darkside TLLE4 build, and lightly tweaked (not to much to say its not "stock" )
This version is geared for 100% true multi-dpi, meaning, no matter the dpi set by the user, the User Interface (UI)
Will remain consistant/proportional, this is achieved by simply setting corrected px (pixel) values rather then dip
Values when designing your layout (unless you want it scaled ofc).

1.) Download zip & copy to /sdcard
2.) Reboot recovery
3.) Select "Install zip from sdcard" & select zip & install
4.) Reboot & enjoy
Notes:
> the xml's will work on ANY GSII TW based rom, but editing the smali is still a must & you MUST set fhe dimensions in values.xml
> nothing has changed smali wise yet sinse last release (no reflection yet, still determined but no time..)
> Installer is based on VRtheme flasher credits go to origional author, i just edited for proper mountpoints, etc..
> plz no comments like "this isnt like actual sense style", i wasnt going for 100%, its a customized version ofc
> this does replace resources.arsc in framework-res.apk & SystemUI.apk, meaning it might break critical theme parts if you have one installed

Wow.. 15dls on UVLE1 version & no comments?

i really need help here :- i am on lollipop 5.02 Lg g2 ls980 and flashed the vrtheme . Now i am totally stuck. i cannot delete / rename / cannot change my locker screen wall paper / cannot update PRL etc & cannot install any apk and my system UI is acting very strange .
Can you kindly help me to get back to the stock UI. I have so much data on my phone that i cannot afford to factory reset also. Please help me out here.

[S3 - ICS] Google Play Music 4.3.615.481147 and SRS effects [Stock ROM]

I just thought of sharing my personal favourite Google Play Music + SRS for ICS.
I'm running ICS 4.0.4 at the moment but I am downloading JellyBean update and will give this mod a try too...
It has Equalizer but shows SRS Panel. Great sound quality that does not restrict you to use on any A2DP capable bluetooth headsets unlike the official Samsung music player that came with the stock version PLUS SRS TrueBass and SRS WOW stays enabled even without a headset inserted!!! (see screenshots).
I got the copy of this SRS effects from someone and just modified to choose the only files really needed. I'm sorry if I can't remember the link I got it from but kudos to whoever you are as this is working great!
Hope you'll like it.
Before installation:
1. Phone must be rooted. Search Google for how to!
2. Download the zip file
3. Safety first! backup the affected files (simply renaming to .bak is good enough) in case you encounter issues:
/system/app/MusicFX.apk
/system/etc/audio_effects.conf
Installation Steps (manual installations only. Feel free to create a script flashable via CWM for this as I have not had time to do so):
1. unzip the file
2. copy the unzipped files to your SDCARD
3. Copy the files to their designated location and set permission to rw-r-r and owner/group to root:root
- app/SRSPanel.apk to /system/app/
- etc/audio_effects.conf to /system/etc/
- etc/SRSAudioFilter.csv to /system/etc/
- lib/soundfx/libsrsfx.so to /system/lib/soundfx/
- lib/soundfx/libsrstb.so to /system/lib/soundfx/
4. Install the Google_Play_Music_4.3.615.481147 file like you normally do.
5. Restart your phone

I have tried this MOD to JB and I needed to change/add a couple of things. I am running DXDLI5 (XXDLJ1) firmware on my GT-I9300 and I just want to share this.
Install manually and make sure you backup the system files that will be replaced by this mod.
Download the zip file here and unzip then copy to your SDCARD/extSdCard and do the manual installation.

What has Changed from the ICS version?
- modified "audio_effects.conf" to contain the downmix library
- added an "audio_effects.conf" file for /vendor/etc/ and included the config for "LVVE" libraries
- added the stock copy of the "LVVE" libraries from XXDLJ1 (you can skip copying this if you already have those libraries present)
Again before replacing the files, rename it to ".bak" or backup it somewhere else. I am not reliable and I don't provide warranty to this MOD.

(GUIDE) How to Port ROMs to Q1000

I have made a pack to easily Port roms other device to our device. [jellybean OS only]
This pack contains various fix and libs n boot.img of our device onky for jellybean.
For Porting You Must select Device which have same Processor ,i.e, MT6589 And screen resolution ,i.e, 720p Like
Lava Iris 504Q
Micromax Canvas HD A116 , etc.
There are two ways to Port
1. by Copying all the essential files from Porter rom to Stock rom [Stock Rom is the Main rom]
2. By copying few selected files from stock rom to Porter rom [Porter Rom is the main rom]
we will be seeing the 2 way
Things Needed to Download before starting :
1. Winrar
2. Notepad++(not necessary)
3. Porter Rom of Similar Device
4. How to Port Rar
Description:
The zip file consist of 2 Folders
1. Permanent replace files
2. Various Fixes
Now Extract and open both zip files ,i.e, Porter Rom zip and My How to port zip
1. Initially go to How to port folder and open "Permanent replace files" folder
2. open System folder in "Permanent replace files" folder and Porter rom Folder
3. The just replace the given folder from "Permanent Replace files" to your "Porter rom"
Accordingly
4.Also replace the boot.img According to Your rom From
Permanent replace file>boot.imgs>(boot.img inside the folder) to the root Folder of the Porter rom
5. Then just select All the files i.e data,meta-inf,system,boot.img,logo.bin, etc
right click add to archive
Given any name u like and select Archive Format as 'ZIP'
Compression Method 'Normal' and press ok
6. Let the zip complete the copy to sd card n reboot into recovery and then wipe data,system, cache, dalvik cache and flash the zip.
7. wait to start the os. check the Camera , Fm radio , Sd card, gps
8. If anything camera or fm radio is not working then just go to 'various fixes' folder and replace the files in the lib folder and then rezip, wipe, flash and then check.
9. SD card and Gps fix patch can be flash directly via recovery without any wipe.
10. build.prop can be edited to change the name of the device to Q1000 via notepad++
(its not necessary)
11. Enjoy.

Micromax Canvas A1 Camera problem Fixed!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Step 1 : Flash any Custom Rom /Stock Rom
Step 2 : Uninstall the default camera (root access required)
Step 3 : Download the zip file from the link and just flash the zip by any custom recovery.
After Flashing it make sure it has replaced the default camera.......That's it Enjoy the same quality of photos as like of kitkat 4.4.4
Note : Don't update the google camera
It worked for me !!! Lets hope it's works for you too people......

I'm rooted.. Can't I uninstall the google camera app directly and flash the zip you provided?? I am a bit confused:rolleyes

Yes you can flash but make sure you uninstall the default camera app of the ROM.
.flash the zip which I provided in the link....
You can use move2sd app to uninstall the default camera of the ROM....its available in playStore itself

How you can add watermark dual camera on custome rom

Hi all
This supports MIUI camera and custome rom which support MIUI camera
First you should download one of the icons water mark
I made some of them that you will see in Attachments files
Copy the icon you like to a second copy
Then rename the first to "dualcamera" and the second to "dualcamera_in"
Then put them in the following tracks:

1-system>etc
2-system>vendor>etc>camera
Change permissions to: rw-r--r--
reboot and enjoy :fingers-crossed:
note:If it doesn't work, try using one of the camera filters
The method is tested on msm-xtended rom :good:
