I recently emailed them regarding their tempered glass release for the Moto X and their response was that they were currently gauging interest. So I've posted this on G+ and thought I would post here as well. If you email them your interest in their tempered glass; they have 2 kinds. They could possibly release one for our device. I know this is not necessarily identically related.. But iLoome recently responded to someone on their Facebook page that they are testing a prototype for the Moto X right now. Or at least their Screenmate version. Either way, I'd be excited if either iLoome or MIME decided to make and sell them :fingers-crossed:

Clarivue isn't even selling the XT Glass version anymore on their own website, probably for good reason. I wouldn't trust $50 to a third party on this.

I am not having the sensor problems you read about. I don't know if they've fixed it, the 4.4 update fixed it, or (as someone suggested) my white-front is somehow different than it being used on the black-front.

I'm a fan. It feels like the glass on the screen. So far it hasn't accumulated any scratches. It is not a finger print magnet either, pretty easy to keep it clean. It was VERY easy to apply - I actually came away with no air bubbles to squeegee out. The edges aren't rounded like the Spigen tR series is, so you can feel a very slight edge if you run your fingers around your phone edge, but it's not irritating in any way if you swipe in from the sides. I paid $17 for it (Prime membership, free 2-day shipping) - I feel like it's an amazing product for the price, especially compared to other similar products (I know Spigen usually runs about $25-30 for their glass protectors).
You'll see a lot of the reviews on Amazon mentioning that their proximity sensor doesn't work with it on - especially noticeable if they're in a call (they'll bring their phone away from their face and the screen doesn't turn on, so they can't end the call, etc.) I didn't have any of these problems. A couple reviewers updated their review mentioning that after the 4.4 Kit Kat update, their problems went away. Some people have also said that the black fronts have the problems, where the white fronts don't. I don't know about all that - all I know is it works just fine for me, tested with many calls.
I can take some pictures this evening after work if anyone wants.

Anybody ever used the ghost glass with an otterbox defender series? I always pull the built in screen protector out of the otterbox and just put another screen protector on the phone. Just wondering if there are any fit problems with the defender and the ghost glass.

These were so cheap, I purchased two of them. I've noticed that these films tend to yellow over time, and it really shows on a white phone.

I hope not, I really like their protectors; mainly for the back. However they do need to work on the yellowing issue as you mentioned.
Also they just came out with their spartan glass screen protectors. Really hard to say, what's going on but I'm not complaining
Will have to stock up on a few items just in case
Edit: Just went to their page and saw that they now offer lifetime warranty on their protectors, granted most will update at least every 2 years I imagine. So the warranty is kind of pointless; good marketing scheme though. Also looks like they are starting to offer more products overall. So I'm not sure why the low prices, maybe to stay competitive?
EDIT 2: maybe you are right, just reread the email and says "*Limited quantities are available in tempered glass and other accessories by XtremeGuard. These products will only be available while supplies last"

Doesn't look bad, but I'm not a fan of protectors that don't adhere to the screen (this adheres to the top and bottom). Causes the rainbow effect, and doesn't feel as good to me. Personal preference, but for now I'll stick to the pre-applied plastic one.

Curved Screen?

Anyone know if the screen is slightly curved like the Pixel 2XL, or flat like the OG Pixel XP? Hoping it's flat for cheaper glass screen protector sake!

I was actually just at a Verizon store checking one out. The screen is much flatter at the edges than the 2 xl. There IS still a tiny bit of a curve, but it's significantly less for sure.

Yes Verizon and bestbuy have them on display and will be in Verizon stores on Friday October 19th. Just went to the local Verizon store on my lunch break to check the 3XL out. Its nice....didn't notice the reduced curve or even compare it to my P2XL. I was mainly focused on the notch size...haptic feedback...and screen color shifting. Also the overall outter dimensions compared to the P2XL.

@bsg411 I just stopped at Verizon. The notch doesn't bother me. I ordered the 2 XL from Google already but the smaller 3 feels great too

Yeah...I could tell the notch would grow on me quickly. Also the smaller Pixel 3 looks good too. It the first time I ever looked at the smaller version of a google phone and would actually consider it over the bigger version.

Same. I looked at the screens on both new pixels. Both look really good.

I can also confirm that after playing with a 2XL and 3XL side by side at the Verizon store, the screen on the 3XL is much flatter and starts to curve much closer to the edge of the phone. It is almost identical to the screen edge on my OnePlus 6. And this is great news because tempered glass protectors for the OnePlus 6 have full adhesive across the entire screen, while almost all of the glass protectors for the 2XL only adhere around the sides, which creates a halo effect in the middle of the screen and allows dust to work its way in, over time.
I'm very hopeful that the flatter screen on the 3 XL will mean screen protectors have that full adhesion like the OnePlus 6 protectors. I'll find out shortly as I already ordered 2 different tempered glass protectors for my 3XL, which should be here sometime next week.

Ok so XL screen a lot flatter than OP5 so tempered glass protectors should be good.
Also it seems like the screen is from Samsung. A pixel guy here told me that since HTC made the phone and since they work with Samsung, they may have used Samsung screens (therefore why the best screen on the market).

I bought mine already without a promo code, but I left one in the cart while I was experimenting with other promo codes people said to try, and I just got an email with a link to buy the one in my cart for 10% off, but when I follow the link it says "WELCOMEBACK discount code isn’t available to you right now". My question too - does it work very well with the in-screen optical fingerprint reader. So far with everyone else, that's always the caveat with the screen protectors they've reported back on. The manufacturer's site doesn't mention the fingerprint reader and they're out of stock anyway.

I have this one (CoverOn) on my phone right now and no, fingerprint reader does not work. Several other people have mentioned this particular one doesn't work for them either (as with all the others). I am keeping it on though b/c it's nice, fits well, does well with not leaving too many smudges/prints, etc. Also feels nice. Until one comes out that works with the fingerprint reader, I'll stay with this and use a pin. I like the protection of tempered glass vs. TPU/PET, etc..

I really don't know it says it has true touch technology but since I have yet to receive my pixel I can't verify

i will stay naked until Whitestone. Might be 6 months down the line though.

Exact same thing here, keeping it for the fit, feel, and protection until something comes out that works. I still believe it's a software bug since the standard P6 is also having issues with TGSP and FP

That would work out fine for me since my 6 pro isnt scheduled to be delivered until mid January. I've been wanting to try one but didnt want to spend that kind of money for a protector for the P2XL

Exactly!! I could tell just by the black lines around the outside.

iShieldz has a protector that has adhesive just on the fingerprint scanner part to get the scanner working. The tradeoff is that you end up with a circle in the screen thats visible all the time. I got it from my carrier.
I contacted Whitestone and they replied to me and said they will have one ready to be sold in January-ish.
