Requirements -
1. Root
2. Enable Navigation Bar
Procedure -
In fingerprint adding option when it prompt you to touch sensor just hold "navigation bar corner" not button just any corner and then touch the FP sensor. It works.

whaaaaaat?
ok. so there isn't a "double tap" nav bar on stock but you can wipe with 1 finger from nav bar downwards to open notifications and quick settings and with 2 fingers to open even more quick settings.
regarding "UIsystem.apk" I don't know, if I google for that I only get some weired results for "SystemUI.apk".
For example, the Mark rom has the double tap on navbar bar, i would know in which app is code that function, so if i flash that apk in the stock rom i think so that work.. Maybe ahha
What exactly does double tapping it do? There's probably an Xposed module for it

To hide the notch in Galaxy A50,
Go to Settings.

You will find “Hide camera cutout” option.
If you enable it, the notch will disappear.

Any setting or module that allows screen to be turned off by double tap?

How can I customize my phone to turn off screen by a double tap somewhere, like at the top on the notification bar? On my old phoneI could do this and I think it may have been an option in Gravity Box. I know there's the option to turn off the screen when double taping an empty area on home screen. But I would prefer something more accessible. Anyone know of any working Magisk modules that allow for this customization?
You can do this natively via motion & gesture settings if you are on One UI 3.0

Sorry if I wasn't clear but I mean from any screen, not just the home screen. I think it was an option in gravity box to double tap the status bar at the top to turn off the screen.

The closest setup I could find was One Hand Operation, by Samsung. You are not double tapping, but you can swipe from ANY screen.

Hiding Navigation Bar LineageOS 17.1

Hu Guys,
does anybody know how to hide the Navigation Bar in LineageOS on the Lenovo P2.
The physical button with the built-in navigation fuctions is working great so I don't need the navigation bar.
I've read something about a expanded dekstop but it is not available on my phone.
Thank you
settings-> system-> gestures-> navigation in the system-> navigation using gestures

Nice thank you for the advice.
It is now hidden.
But somehow when I touch the hardware button it is not vibrating anymore
vibrates only when reading the fingerprint

okay thats not so good, since the haptic feedback of the button is missing.
But anyway it's better than having half of the screen blocked by the navogation bar.
